Abstract: A method and system for associating information regarding an object with image objects is disclosed, wherein each image object is a visual data containers including an image associated with the object and data items relating to the object. A user may interact with a graphical user interface to create, modify, and associate image objects by means of the associated images. Information regarding the objects may be associated therewith by means of the image objects, and image objects may be associated with other image objects to generate associations between information regarding the underlying objects. Information regarding other image objects or the associated image may be used to determine information regarding the object, which may be associated with the image object. In some embodiments, associating two or more image objects may associate the underlying objects for purposes of insurance policies or may generate a new insurance policy based on the image objects.

Abstract: Technologies are provided to supply image assets for presentation at a client device. Some embodiments include a computing device that can determine that multiple image assets to be presented in a user interface are unavailable within a non-volatile storage device of the computing device. The computing device can then generate a request for an image sprite containing the multiple image assets, and can send the request to a content source platform. The request identifies the multiple image assets. The computing device can receive, from the content source platform, the image sprite and metadata corresponding to the image sprite. The metadata defines attributes of the multiple image assets. The computing device can store the metadata in the non-volatile storage device, and can extract, using the metadata, the multiple image assets from the image sprite. The computing device can present the multiple assets during presentation of the user interface.

Abstract: Technologies for identifying and inspecting web page tags include a tag inspection system. The tag inspection system receives configuration information, which includes a seed uniform resource locator. The tag inspection system accesses a web page corresponding to the seed uniform resource locator. A tag of the web page is invoked by the tag inspection system. Tag execution data is received in response to invocation of the tag of the web page. The received tag execution data is analyzed by the tag inspection system. A report is generated based on the analysis of the received tag execution data. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

The analyzing unit calculates multiple features related to layout of the first document, the calculation being based at least in part on types of components of the first document. The extracting unit extracts one or more templates from among multiple templates based on the plurality of features related to the layout of the first document, the one or more templates each having layout similar to the layout of the first document. The presenting unit presents the extracted one or more templates to a user.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a distributed storytelling framework. A server receives an adjacency list comprising a set of nodes linked together by edges. The server converts the adjacency list to a set of generated storylines, each storyline being represented as a key-value pair. A key represents a first node and a value represents a second node linked to the first node by an edge. The server combines first and second storylines, of the set of generated storylines, to generate an additional storyline in response to a value from a first storyline matching a key from a second storyline. The additional storyline includes a single key and multiple values, and is added to the set of generated storylines. The server repeats combining storylines, of the set of generated storylines, to generate additional storylines. The server provides an output corresponding to at least one of the generated storylines.

Thereafter, a visualization can be generated in a graphical user interface that takes the form of data map that characterizes the identified files along two or more dimensions, with each dimension being based on a different attribute of the file. For example, the vertical dimension can be based on a number of columns and the horizontal dimension can be based on a number of rows. The graphical user interface can include graphical user interface elements associated with each identified file. These elements, when activated, can cause complementary information characterizing the corresponding identified file to be displayed. The elements can then be used to import or otherwise utilize one of the identified files into an application (such as a spreadsheet software application.

Abstract: A system for testing the effectiveness of webpage configurations is disclosed. Tags indicating dependency between sections of a webpage may be associated with the sections. In response to a version of a first section of a webpage being tested, an associated tag may indicate that the content or behavior of a second section is dependent on the first section. A webpage configuration including content of the first section, and corresponding behavior and content of the second section, may be transmitted to a web client. Data may be collected indicating the effectiveness of the webpage configuration.

Abstract: Information is camouflaged to permit discreet access of the information at times when it is otherwise inappropriate to access the information. Information is camouflaged for computer device display by analyzing visual characteristics of baseline information designated to be displayed on a portion of an electronic display and causing the electronic display to display replacement information within a region of the electronic display in place of information or content that would normally be displayed within the region. The replacement information visually conforms to the visual characteristics so as to be camouflaged within other information displayed outside the region. An input/output interface may be at least intermittently displayed within a section of the region to permit a user to interact with a data stream providing the replacement information. When the input/output interface is displayed, it may also be camouflaged to conform to the visual characteristics of the baseline information.

Abstract: A tag management system can implement a combined synchronous and asynchronous tag-loading scheme. In an embodiment of this scheme, a synchronous tag may be included at the top of or near the top of a content page. This synchronous tag can hide one or more page elements that are to be modified by a subsequent asynchronous personalization tag. Subsequently, the asynchronous personalization tag can update the page element and then cause the page element to be displayed. As a result, flicker between the old and new page elements can be reduced or avoided.

A production server hosts a production database synchronizes with the yearbook server, providing images to the client for use in creating the yearbook, and accepting completed created pages submitted by the school from the yearbook server. The production server translates the created pages into the format to proceed through the regular preparation for production of the yearbook.

Abstract: Conversion of text-based images to vector graphics (VG) is disclosed. The text-based images may include images of equations, custom typefaces, or other types of text that may not be included in a font selection of an optical character recognition (OCR) device or an application stored on a viewing device. A textual image may be converted from a raster graphics (RG) image to a VG image, which may enable resizing and alignment of the VG image with body text. In some aspects, the server may determine a body size of a reference character in the VG image. The server may determine a baseline of the VG image that may be used to align the image with the body text.

Source document deletion is controlled by storing the references to the source document by fragment objects so that no fragment object has a reference to a nonexistent source document.

Abstract: The present invention provides a Web page edit screen that allows an author to edit parent and child documents collectively while showing, in an appropriate manner, the content of the child document embedded in the parent document. Associated documents of a Web page to be edited are managed as managed documents individually. Document-by-document structure information is derived from the content of each managed document. Web page structure information is then assembled by connecting the document-by-document structure information based on embed-related code. Edit screen data is generated based on the content of the managed documents and the Web page structure information to generate a browser-type edit screen. The content of a relevant managed document is synchronized with the edited content on the edit screen. The edit screen data is matched with the edited content on the edit screen.
