Abstract: Systems and methods for creating and processing context sensitive media objects are disclosed. One method is directed to processing a context sensitive media object in a target context. The method includes receiving an object with one or more object rules embedded within the object such that the one or more object rules are propagated with the object. Further, a determination of whether the object is context sensitive is made. If the object is context sensitive, the method prioritizes between the one or more object rules and one or more context rules related to a target context. In addition, a determination of which method or methods should be executed to process the object in the target context is made based on the prioritization.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system are disclosed for generating a graphical user interface (GUI) for a plurality of text based commands, in which environment mapping definitions may link generic GUI components with predefined command structures. The plurality of text based commands may be command-line interface (CLI) commands. The environment mapping definitions may be applied to a command specification defining characteristics of the plurality of text based commands in a standard format in order to build a GUI from generic GUI components. The command specification may be generated by providing an interpretation reference defining CLI conventions and parsing a command description to extract the command specification with reference to the interpretation reference.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for assisting a user in applying a business process pattern. In some embodiments, the computer-implemented method includes providing a graphical user interface (GUI) adapted for displaying a first representation of a business process and for allowing user editing of the business process. The computer-implemented method also includes receiving a user selection of a fragment of the business process as displayed in the first representation. In some embodiments, the computer-implemented method includes calling a second representation of the business process, the second representation including a hierarchy of fragments of business process, and checking whether the fragment selected by the user corresponds to one of the fragments of the second representation. The computer-implemented method may also include instantiating a business process pattern using the selected fragment if the fragment selected corresponds. The integrated collaborative user interface includes a document pane, document details pane and a section details pane. Document details and section details are obtained and provided to authors. A collaborative author views the document details, section details and provides updates to a document in the document editor. Changes are then refreshed to the authors to provide a consistent and up-to-date status of the document.

A printer driver in the private PC collects various settings (including desktop theme, application settings, and device driver settings) from within the private PC. The settings are transmitted to the image processing device. The image processing device, based on the acquired setting information, changes the panel display, application settings, and others. This simplifies setting of the image processing device.

Abstract: An access code can be generated by a primary device and interpreted by a secondary device for the purpose of presenting, on the secondary device, additional content related to an application running on the primary device. The access code can be a two dimensional graphic or QR code that can be easily captured by a camera unit of the secondary device. Once captured, additional content related to the running application can be identified and displayed on the secondary device.

Abstract: A handheld dedicated electronic book (“eBook”) reader device renders an image on a screen during periods of inactivity of the device. The device detects certain screen conversion events such as a timeout period or a user indication. Upon detection of such events, the device renders, as the last screen image to remain visible after the user ceases using the device, an image that conveys some meaningful association with a content item accessible by the device. In the context of eBooks, the eBook reader device renders a representation of an author of the eBook as the last screen image. A highlighted portion of the eBook may additionally or alternatively be presented as the last screen image.

Display and processing of the widgets and prompts is handled in a non-disruptive manner in an environment where a gateway function requesting the prompt may be interposed between a browser and a server in a network, and where the browser script may adhere to the Ajax methodology.

Management of CSH links can include assigning a unique identifier to a CSH link in a program that links to a help system. Management of CSH links can include identifying a user interface resource that calls the help system for the CSH link and mapping the user interface resource for the CSH link to an anchor point in the help system. Management of the CSH links can include generating a reference between the unique identifier of the CSH link and the anchor point in the help system.

Abstract: Methods, systems and program product are disclosed for determining matching level of a text lookup segment with a plurality of source texts in a translation memory in terms of context. The invention determines exact matches for the lookup segment in the plurality of source texts, and determines, in the case that at least one exact match is determined, that a respective exact match is an in-context exact match for the lookup segment in the case that a context of the lookup segment matches that of the respective exact match. Degree of context matching required can be predetermined, and results prioritized. The invention also includes methods, systems and program products for storing a translation pair of source text and target text in a translation memory including context, and the translation memory so formed. The invention ensures that content is translated the same as previously translated content and reduces translator intervention.

Abstract: A computer implemented system automatically launches a video to assist a computer user in navigating through a set of menus on a graphical user interface (GUI) without separately requiring the computer user to select a link to a video file or launch a software program designed to playback the video. The system executes a two-phase process for assisting the computer user in determining a replacement part for an OEM part. In the first phase, the system selectively presents a series of menus to the computer user to allow the computer user to identify the OEM part. A video is automatically played during the first phase of the process to assist the user in completing the first series of menus. After the computer user has completed the first menus, the system launches a second set of menus and begins playing a video to assist the computer user in determining options for the replacement part.

Abstract: This disclosure describes embodiments of systems and methods for performing inspections of an asset. The systems can include an inspection apparatus that executes a menu directed inspection (MDI) protocol to direct an inspector that performs the inspection. The MDI protocol includes, in one example, reference material that is associated with areas of the asset that the inspector will inspect. This reference material can include data and information (e.g., technical manuals, operating manuals, images, etc.). In one embodiment, the method includes one or more steps for building an inspection tree with inspection points that correspond to the inspection areas on the asset. The method can also comprise steps for assigning or associating the reference material to inspection points, which is then available to the inspector on the inspection apparatus during execution of the MDI protocol.
