Abstract: Digital data structures of cell sites that can be reviewed, interrogated and manipulated so that users can investigate the cell site remotely. The digital data structures contain data for the elevated antenna holding structure and for each desired cell site component, such as the cellular antennas, microwave dishes. The digital data structures contain high resolution optical information about the cell site so that desired elements can be distinguished and read; relative spatial relationship data so that the relative spatial relationships between the different components can be determined to and automatically generated angular adjustment data to reduce perspective distortions of the cell site components.

Abstract: An electronic device includes: a communication unit to connect to a different device on a network, the different device storing contents; an output unit to connect to a display apparatus; a control unit; an operation input unit; and a reproduction unit. The control unit searches for contents stored in the different device on the network, generates a list of thumbnail images indicating the searched contents, estimates an error rate when each of the contents is received and reproduced, and outputs the list to the display apparatus, the control unit changing a state of each of the thumbnail images in the list according to the estimated error rate. The operation input unit receives reproduction instruction operation with respect to the content indicated by each of the thumbnail images. The reproduction unit receives the content, which is subjected to the reproduction instruction operation, from the different device, and reproduce the content.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a request for network topology information for a network. The request includes an identifier for a requesting entity and an identifier for the network. The method also includes accessing network topology information for the network based on the identifier for the network. The network topology information identifies a plurality of network elements in the network and defines a relationship between the network elements. A diagrammatic view of the network topology is determined based on the network topology information for the network. The method includes determining one or more aspects of at least one network element based on the identifier for the requesting entity. The method further includes associating the one or more aspects to the at least one network element to form a customized diagrammatic view of the network topology. The method also includes providing the customized diagrammatic view of the network topology.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine readable and executable instructions are provided for cross-domain business service management. Cross-domain business service management can include receiving event indications from domains. The event indications can be standardized into standardized event indications independent of domain manager or domain-specific syntax. The standardized event indications can be aggregated into aggregated event indications. A number of domain-specific descriptive semantic attributes of the aggregated event indications can be runtime analyzed. The aggregated event indications can be mapped to respective health indicators based on the runtime analysis, where each of the respective health indicators represents a health aspect of one of the domains. The respective health indicators can be displayed on a user interface.

Abstract: One or more embodiments provide an extensible user interface for navigating a graph in a tabular format for which the extensible user interface is arranged in a hierarchy of views. The hierarchy includes an entry point level having at least one extension added by an application, wherein data is displayed when the extensible user interface is initially accessed by the user. The hierarchy further includes an inventory level having at least one extension added by the application, wherein data is displayed when the user selects an extension at the inventory level. Another level of the hierarchy is a category extension level having at least one extension added by an application, wherein data is displayed when the user focuses the extensible user interface on a node displayed by an extension added at the inventory level.

Abstract: A method in a warehouse management system for providing instructions to a user, comprising: receiving a table in a database of the warehouse management system, the table defining the instructions, one or more of the columns of the table containing data and image references pertaining to respective warehouse storage items associated with the instructions; adding an expression column to the table, the expression column for defining a combination of the data and image references pertaining to the respective warehouse storage items in accordance with the instructions; adding markup language code to the expression column for customizing a graphical presentation of the combination; generating the graphical presentation of the combination from the markup language code; and, displaying the graphical presentation on a display screen of the warehouse management system, thereby providing the instructions to the user in a graphical format.

Abstract: Disclosure is related to a universal driving method and a system for a variety of peripherals. For solving the problem in a hardware manufacturer required to provide many versions of drivers and proprietary programs for different host systems and operating systems, the universal driving method allows the host system drives its peripherals via a scripting language. In accordance with the embodiment of the invention, the host system may recognize and connect to a peripheral device via an address while the peripheral device is linked to the host system. After that, a channel is established between the peripheral device and the host system. The scripting language is then used to generate an operating interface for the peripheral device. Users may therefore access the peripheral device through the interface.

Abstract: Embodiments which utilize a topology view GUI with elements in each of storage and general network views which indicate the connection to the alternate network via an icon. Properly selecting the icon causes the topology view of the other network to appear. This method allows the connections between the networks to be readily viewed without cluttering either topology and allows quick context changes to occur at the same point.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for generating a graphical representation of at least a portion of a synchronized network model. In use, a network model of a network is identified. Additionally, an inventory model of the network is identified. Further, the network model and the inventory model are synchronized to identify differences between the network model and the inventory model. Moreover, a graphical representation of a variant model associated with the network is generated, utilizing the differences between the network model and the inventory model, where the variant model includes the network model with the differences between the network model and the inventory model.

Abstract: A method for synchronizing different components of a computer network system using meta-commands embedded in normal network packets. The data communication channel between different components of a computer network system can be used to transport meta-commands piggybacked in normal network packets, without modifying or compromising the validity of the protocol message. Embodiments of the method can be used for embedding test synchronization and control commands into the network packets sent through a device or system under test. The device or system under test can be an edge device, with the data communication channel carrying normal packets containing meta-commands embedded in the packets to synchronize the test control of the test clients and the test servers connected to the edge device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and products simulate a topology of a residential home network. The residential home network has a residential gateway and one or more devices communicating with the residential gateway. Each device is queried by the residential gateway for configuration and performance data. A simulated view of a topology of the residential home network is then generated.

Abstract: A system for securely transferring commands to a recipient device. An access interface allows a user to enter a command for the recipient device. The access interface only allows the user to enter commands within a subset of commands associated with a role assigned to the user. The control interface receives information, i.e., the command entered by the user and the associated user role, from the access interface. The control interface outputs, to the manifest engine, the information and a manifest table which identifies each role and the subset of commands associated with each role. The manifest engine compares the information with the contents of the received manifest table, and, if the command entered by the user corresponds to a command within the set of commands associated with the role assigned to the user, forwards the command to the recipient device.

Abstract: In the context of a site analysis report showing paths between nodes, a relevance slider allows a user to dynamically specify how many node-to-node connections should be shown at any given time. The user can position the slider as desired, so as to specify a threshold level. Only those node connections having a relevance level (measured, for example, as a traffic level) exceeding the specified threshold are shown. In one embodiment, lines representing node connections fade in and out as the slider is moved, so as to provide instantaneous visual feedback.

Abstract: Communication system management apparatus, methods, and interfaces are disclosed. A group of objects that are associated with different types of communication system components in a representation of a communication system are configured in a group. A further representation of the objects of the group is provided, and includes an indication of component operational status for one or more communication system components respectively associated with one or more of the objects of the group. The further representation of the objects of the group may also or instead provide access to the objects of the group, so that information associated with the objects may be more easily displayed, for example. The communication system representation and the group representation are provided in a Graphical User Interface (GUI) in some embodiments.

Abstract: In accordance with the present disclosure, systems and methods for monitoring and managing physical devices and physical device locations in a network are described herein. An example method may include generating at a processor of an information handling system a first graphical representation of a first network structure. The first graphical representation may identify the relative physical orientation of a second network structure and a third network structure. The processor may identify an operational condition corresponding to the second network structure. The processor may also generate a first status indicator within the first graphical representation, with the first status indicator graphically identifying the operational condition.

The model may be used during discovery for finding entities and creating instances of the entities and instances of the relationships between entities. After discovery, data may be collected and stored in a database by monitoring or instrumenting the entity. The relationships may be used to graphically display various entities in many useful manners, including graphical representations of the health of various entities.

Abstract: A system for presenting and controlling content on a display device includes a network, a server system coupled to the network and comprising one or more servers, a display device coupled to the network and having a display, and a personal computing device operable to transmit a first message according to a specified format over the network to the server system. The server system stores an association between the personal computing device and the display device. The first message identifies user-selected content and a media player to play the content. The server system is operable, in response to receiving the first message from the personal computing device, to provide to the display device a second message identifying the user-selected content and the media player to play the content. In response to receiving the second message, the display device is operable to obtain a first media player needed to play the content, to load the media player and to present the content on the display.

Abstract: A method and a device for processing network element object information in a three-dimensional (3D) topology view are provided. The method includes: in response to a user's operation of selecting a first network element object in the 3D topology view displayed in a window, sending a first instruction to a back-end server; receiving position coordinates and size information of the first network element object from the back-end server; and adjusting position coordinates of the first network element object in the window according to a size of the window and the position coordinates of the first network element object, multiplying the size information of the first network element object by a preset zoom factor to zoom the first network element object, and redisplaying the zoomed first network element object at the adjusted position coordinates in the window. Thus the user can identify the network element object quickly in the window.

Abstract: Systems and methods for intelligent information navigation in a graphical user interface (GUI) where a sequence of items is generated and stored in a memory of a computer system. A number of graphical elements are displayed on a screen of a GUI, wherein each graphical element corresponds to an item of the sequence of items, and wherein the graphical elements are ordered according to the sequence. When requested, the graphical elements scroll in a chosen direction to gradually include a new graphical element into the screen at the direction of scrolling. Respectively, the scrolling could gradually exclude from the screen a graphical element at opposite direction. An item of the sequence of items could be selected as a currently active item. The displayed graphical elements are automatically scrolled to move the graphical element corresponding to the currently active item at a focal position within the screen.

Abstract: Architecture that addresses security concerns while still providing transparent user experience with ability to perform tasks. When a user machine is considered incompliant or compromised due to, for example, a suspected infection, the user machine can be blocked from further access to a network or other computing hosts until the incompliance is resolved. A notification is presented that indicates the nature of the problem, and a way to access an automatically configured isolated environment via which to continue working. The user can be automatically routed to use the alternative isolated environment for temporary access to network resources. Once the user finishes activities in the isolated environment, the system hosting the isolated environment is reverted back to a known good state.

Abstract: In general, the present invention provides a system and method for creating, managing and utilizing virtual worlds for enhanced management of an Information Technology (IT) environment. Two dimensional (2D) and three dimensional (3D) virtual world renditions are automatically created to replicate the associated real-life IT environment. Such virtual environments can then be used to familiarize staff with remote locations and to securely provide virtual data center tours to others. The virtual environments are managed through an information monitor and management module that generates a work order sent to the physical location for reconfiguration of the real-life environment.

In some cases, the present solution provides various prefetching and/or prefreshening techniques to improve intermediary or proxy caching, such as HTTP proxy caching. The acceleration and optimization techniques described herein may be deployed on the client as a client agent or as part of a browser, as well as on any type and form of intermediary device, such as an appliance, proxying device or any type of interception caching and/or proxying device.

The updated system management graph is then displayed to the user in the graphical user interface.

Abstract: A cloud computing infrastructure administration system can track use of cloud computing resources by customer, hardware utilization, and geographical location in a unified manner, the cloud may be administered much more efficiently. A cloud computing visualization tool can use the tracked data to provide multiple visualization options to aid in cloud computing management. For instance, usage can be tracked and information displayed on a per-customer, per-machine, per-location, and/or other basis. Thus, administrators can, for example view a particular customer's use of resources regardless of location but also view a location's allocation of resources regardless of customer. The tool can be configured to restrict access by login, and thus customers or other parties other than administrators may view data.

A multi-protocol flow representing packets captured from the telecommunications network during a selected time period is displayed on a user interface of a network monitoring system. The multi-protocol flow is highlighted on the user interface display if any session records within the multi-protocol flow do not meet operator-defined criteria. The user interface detects a user's selection of the multi-protocol flow and displays a plurality of protocol-specific flows that are within the multi-protocol flow. The user interface detects the user's selection of one of the protocol-specific flows and displays a plurality of session flows that are within the selected protocol-specific flow. Any session records that do not meet operator-defined criteria are highlighted on the user interface.

An uploaded data object is received from any one of the connected plurality of client communication devices. Finally, the data object is displayed in the central virtual reality communications environment to the connected plurality of client communication devices.

A communication unit receives image data captured and then sent by each terminal having a screen capture function.
