Progress Or Activity Indicator Patents (Class 715/772)
  • Patent number: 8639773
Abstract: Search engines may utilize web crawlers to discover desirable content that may be provided to users as search results. Unfortunately, document providers, such as websites, may return junk web pages and/or maintenance web pages as document results, which may be undesirable for a search engine to provide as search results. Accordingly, document providers may be grouped into provider clusters. Profiles may be assigned to provider clusters, where a profile may comprise parameters representing “expected” parameters historically returned from normal document fetch operations to document providers within the provider cluster. Parameters of a profile for a provider cluster comprising a document provider may be compared with current document fetch parameters of a current document fetch operation. If the parameters of the profile and the current document fetch parameters do not match, then an alert may be generated.

Abstract: An in-vehicle device for displaying a meter image in real time, wherein the processing load is reduced without deterioration of the appearance of the meter image. The in-vehicle device stores therein a plurality of basic images which can indicate a first measured value and a second measured value both of which are measured values relating to the vehicle. According to the acquired first and second measured values, the in-vehicle device selects a predetermined basic image out of the plurality of basic images, transmits a partial area of the selected basic image, and synthesizes these basic images, to thereby generate a meter image to be displayed.

Abstract: A system and method for creating a project workflow involves tracking all activities from all disciplines within a company in a database, such that when a new workflow is created, a project architect is forced to consider every activity ever performed to the workflow in relation to every discipline. Only after activities have been assigned to their appropriate disciplines, can a user filter a view of the map to hide disciplines and activities from view. This ensures that every task ever performed by various disciplines within a company is always considered whenever designing a project workflow.
