Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for real-time audio generation for electronic games based on personalized music preferences. An example method includes requesting listening history information from one or more music streaming platforms, the listening history information indicating, at least, music playlists to which a user created or is subscribed. A style preference associated with the user is determined based on the listening history information. A musical cue associated with an electronic game is accessed, with the musical being associated with music to be output by the electronic game based on a game state of the electronic game. Personalized music is generated utilizing one or more machine learning models based on the musical cue and the style preference, wherein the system is configured to provide the personalized music for inclusion in the electronic game.

  • Patent number: 10775938
Abstract: Touch events can be detected using an ultrasound input device coupled to a surface, such as a surface of a piece of furniture or electronic device. The ultrasound input device can generate ultrasonic waves in the surface, the reflections of which can be measured by the ultrasound input device. When a touch is made to the surface (e.g., opposite the ultrasound input device), the physical contact can absorb some of the energy of the outgoing ultrasonic waves (e.g., the originally transmitted wave and any subsequent outgoing reflections). Energy measurements associated with the measured reflections can thus be used to identify touch events. Various techniques can be used to make the energy measurements and reduce identification of false touch events.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an acoustic resonator within an acoustic chamber such as a stringed instrument body. The acoustic resonator is provided with a piezoelectric material. The kinetic energy derived from the acoustic chamber creates vibrations of sound producing a corresponding or sympathetic mechanical vibration to the piezoelectric material. As a consequence, the piezoelectric material will generate electrical energy which will undergo conditioning by energy harvester electronics. The conditioned electrical energy is used to provide power to multiple devices including on-board electronics or a USB charging port.
