Abstract: A process of inlaying a design in a fiberglass article to provide a decorative article of manufacture. The process comprises applying a first lamina of releasing agent into a mold. Then forming a second lamina of clear gel coat on the first lamina and allowing it to dry. Then forming a third lamina of transparent polyester resin on the second lamina and submerging the design into the third lamina before the third lamina is dry. Then removing air bubbles from the design and the third lamina and allowing the third lamina to dry. Then applying a fourth lamina of curable resin on the third lamina, whereby the fourth lamina is formed substantially from fiberglass of a white pigmentation, and allowing it to dry. Lastly, removing the mold from the first, second, third, and fourth laminas.

Abstract: A separator device for separating heavier small particles, solids and liquids, in suspension in a fluid that are forced through a wound conduit member with a plurality of through openings on the outermost wall portion. The fluid is forced by a pressure differential between the inlet and the outlet. That causes said fluid to achieve a predetermined speed inside the conduit member. A housing covering the conduit member collects and/or contains the heavier matter that exits the through openings by the effect of centrifugal forces acting thereon. The centrifugal force generated will be proportional to the speed square and inversely proportional to the radius of curvature. Inwardly extending walls trap or force small particles outwardly through the through openings. Also, outwardly extending walls prevent the small particles and/or water in suspension from re-entering the conduit member.

Abstract: A dye applicator that has an elongated container that doubles as a handle and a comb assembly with an internal longitudinal cavity along its spine. The container is removably connected to the comb assembly to permit the dye to pass through the cavity and to the longitudinal and transversal opening in each tooth. The dye goes out to the user's hair through opening terminations on each of the transversal conduits. The container assembly is deformable to squeeze out the dye and a one-way valve is used to permit the air to replace the dye that is released.

Abstract: A protector for vehicles' door openings with hingedly mounted doors to cover an adjacent area and protect is from rain and snow. The protector includes at least one frustro-conical roller member with a rollable sheet. The rollable sheet has two straight lateral ends and two curved lateral ends. Male and female hook members for removably mounting one of the straight lateral ends to the upper end of the door so that when the door is swung open the rollable sheet is unrolled substantially covering the area adjacent to the door's opening. Each frustro-conical roller member includes spring bias assembly for urging the rolling back of the rollable sheet after being rolled out. When at least two roller members and at least two rollable sheets are contiguous, the rollabe sheets include a zipper member for releasably joining the contiguous curved lateral ends.

Abstract: A clipper for cutting and severing a portion of bait material preventing direct contact of a user with the former. The two elongated pivotally mounted members include cutting assemblies ends that cooperate to come towards each other in a substantially parallel fashion. Peripheral walls with distal sharpened edges have to cut into a bait severing a portion that is lodged between complementing cavities formed by the peripheral walls. Slots in the base plates extend towards their respective centers upon which the peripheral wall are perpendicularly mounted permit a user to manipulate a fishing hook. The hook is removed through one of the cutouts in the peripheral walls that coincide with the entrance to the slots. A user can then hold the bait portion with one hand while safely manipulating the hook with the other hand to set his/her fishing bait.

Abstract: A sound imaging system, which by processing left and right stereo channel audio signals of a conventional two channel stereo system, distributes signals to a speaker array of a number of speakers determined by a listening area. Listeners located in different places within the listening area, can have an audible perception of an equivalent distribution to that of the conventional two channel stereo system. Additionally they will have an audible central perception of the centered program material equivalent to that obtained from the conventional two channel stereo system when the listeners are located in a median plane of the conventional two channel stereo system speakers.

Abstract: A flexible knee brace that provides support to the knee, meniscus, ligaments, and muscles of the leg, and assists with the rehabilitation of the knee when injured, pre-surgery, and post-surgery. The knee brace is made of an elasticized sleeve worn over the leg and spanning the knee. The sleeve has a plurality of channels running vertically on each side of the patella, nearly the full length of the sleeve. The channels house flexible elongated strips that may be removed or added to adjust the bending resistance of the knee brace. The knee brace is secured in place by an elastic strap sewn onto the sleeve and running laterally above the patella.

Abstract: A pick-up truck bed cover having a cover frame assembly that is secured thereon to cover the truck bed. The cover frame assembly is generally rectangularly shaped to fit over typical truck beds and has a track system for a shutter assembly. The shutter assembly is slidably mounted within the track system and has means to retract and extract. In the retracted position, the truck bed is nearly completely exposed and in the extracted position, the truck bed is covered. Positioned approximately perpendicularly to the shutter assembly, is a door assembly that is mounted at one end of the cover frame assembly for access to the truck bed.

Abstract: A method of treating laminitis in a horse is disclosed, comprising administering to the horse a naturally chelated trace mineral composition; promoting healthy skin, hair and hoof tissue. A method of reducing dietary intake is also disclosed, comprising administering to a horse in need thereof, effective amounts of a naturally chelated trace mineral composition. A method of preparing the chelated trace mineral composition from ocean seabed rock is further disclosed, as well as the chelated trace mineral composition.

Abstract: A fishing net mechanism with a supporting tubular frame and an inflatable floating assembly mounted thereon. A compressor in a vessel is connected to the inflatable floating assembly to submerge or bring afloat the fishing net mechanism. Two identical pairs of interlocking sections define the supporting tubular frame. Carrier assemblies slidably mounted to the supporting tubular frame hold the net member through an edge cable positioned at the rim. Upper and lower cables are used to control the position of the mechanism which is hoisted to the vessel. A constraining loop is controlled by the lower cable and when inside the vessel is allowed to release the netted fish.

Abstract: A hair curler device for winding hair strands in the application of spiral permanents. Two rod members are connected at one of their respective ends to a flexible elongated connector. The rod members include trapezoidal threads that cooperatively receive hair strands of a person. Removably mounted locking pieces embrace the rod members at a position along the rod members that substantially coincides with the end of the strand of hair being treated. A rubber band urges the free ends of the rod members toward each other.

Abstract: A process for positioning rigid segments into a paper web being formed through a hybrid band and the resulting article of manufacture from this process. The positioning of the rigid segments with uniform predetermined separation between them and their uniform length provide a wavelength for the hybrid band with the consequent advantage for readily detecting its electromagnetic characteristics. The paper web is divided in continuous adjacent sheets that include each one matrix and surrounding margin areas. The web has one or more sheets across. The matrix includes a set of document areas therein that correspond to the resulting bank notes, or document areas, in the preferred application for this invention. Each resulting document area includes one or more rigid segments that is, or are, symmetrically positioned with respect to a longitudinal and central axis across said document areas.

Abstract: A reusable pinata (10) for dispensing tokens or objects (40) that have a predetermined configuration to fit cavities (52) in boards (50). The objects are dispensed when strings (36) are pulled that open the closure members (32) and (32') that are pivotally mounted to the bottom of a hollow container (30). The container (30) is suspended from a stand assembly (20) that includes a base (22), an upwardly extending pole member (24) and an arm member (26) that is substantially perpendicular to the pole member (24). A timer (60) is mounted to the pole member (24).

Abstract: A holder for pistols that has the shape of an elongated flat box housing with a clip assembly to permit a user to wear it around his or her waist. The holder is made out of self-standing and substantially flexible one sheet of leather and it has pistol support tongues that are extension of one of the sides inwardly bent and rigidly secured to the inner surface of the rear wall. Support loops are rigidly mounted to the inner surface of front wall and they cooperatively receive the pistol's magazines. A front wall is hingedly mounted so that a user can readily exposed the pistol by pushing rearwardly.

Abstract: A device for dispensing predetermined amounts of granular material such as insecticides, fertilizers and the like. The device provides for a valve actioned by a moving a floating cup member that is particularly useful in preventing the jamming of the device by particles of irregular size. A crank handle assembly imparts the rotational movement to a cylindrical member that has a radial through opening wherein one or two cavities are defined to accept the material coming from the feeding tubular port. The material is dispensed every time the crank handle is rotated 180.degree.. A user can use different terminating members that are removable attached to a spout member.

Abstract: A hanger having an elongated arcuate body defining two arms and a hook member rigidly attached to its center. Upper and lower supporting straps are provided as well as loops for removably receiving built-in clip members for holding garments. The supporting straps are provided with Velcro.TM. pad terminations and cooperatively mating counterparts rigidly secured to the underside and upperside of the body of the hanger. Aromatic or scented material is contained within a fabric covering the body of the hanger.
