Abstract: An apparatus for massaging mountable behind the back of a chair and capable of being moved vertically to provide relaxing massage to a user sitting on the chain. A reversible motor mechanism provides the rotational motion to a clutch assembly that selectively engages one of two gear assemblies that in turn activate two different linkage and reciprocating mechanisms that simulate or follow the movements of the fingers of a conventional masseur.
Abstract: A cover for openings in containers such as plastic or paper cups used, primarily, in fast food restaurants. The cover may include at least one one-way valve mechanism or be made of a porous material that allows air through but not liquids. An orifice with a tubular extension attached thereto provides a suitable engagement with a straw that is used to withdraw the liquid contained on the cup. Anchorage members are provided on the upper surface of the cover so that the straw may be bent when not in use.
Abstract: A container for collecting oil that has a cover and a valve assembly to control the drawing of the collected oil into a household container, such as a plastic milk container. A support assembly is provided to hold the oil filter over the valve assembly so that it can also be drained. A threaded portion on the spout of the valve assembly insures a spill free pouring of the oil.
Abstract: A safety booster cable assembly for connecting a d.c. source to a receiving battery including a normally open relay interrupting the electrical connection between one of the two pairs of electrodes. Circuitry is provided for closing the contact of the relay when the electrodes being connected are of similar polarities. Time delay circuitry is included so that the relay contact is closed after a certain predetermined amount of time has passed so that sparks are prevented from the movement or scratching of the cable clips on the electrodes. Light emitting diodes are connected between the electrodes of the D.C. source and receiving battery so that they illuminate when the correct polarity is observed in the connection of the cable clips.
Abstract: A grille apparatus that has a base member with the shape of a plate and a central opening within which a stove burner is positioned. A grille assembly, having several spacing members mounted on its underside, rests on the base member slightly above it and leaving a clearance between the grille assembly and the base member. The grille assembly is covered with cover that has a handle. The base member has a channel underlying the area where the food rests on the grille assembly and the channel is filled with water so that the grease that drips down is collected in the water filled channel.
Abstract: A holder for celeries which are known to have a narrow and a wide end. The wide end is characterized by having concave inner walls. The holder has a cooperating convex headed termination that receives the concave portion of the celery and a handle portion over which the narrow end of the celery extends. Several rubber bands are used to maintain the celery securely in place with respect to the holder.
Abstract: A warning light device for blown fuse caps having a photosensitive circuit mounted inside an adapter casing that mounts over and is exposed to the fuse element of the fuse caps. The device is powered by batteries contained inside the casing and includes battery energy saving circuits in the form of an intermittent circuit or a low duty cycle circuit that is suitable to provide a visual indication periodically to the user. Light emitting diodes are used as a low power consumption indicating light.
Abstract: A hole saw accessory device that is used with a conventional drill chuck. The device includes a mandrel assembly that includes a tubular member and a locking assembly slidably mounted thereon. The locking assembly is locked against a ring member that is integrally built on one end of the tubular member. An arrowhead drill is used and the mandrel assembly is allowed to slide over a portion of the shank of the drill so that the slug of wood cut out by the conventional hole saw is easily ejected.
Abstract: A time base video equalizer and/or corrector for video tape or disk machines including a precorrector and a postcorrector section. The device is driven by a master video source, corrected or not, and synchronization with a slave video machine is achieved for the operation of interfaced special effects video devices. The jitter and coherence imperfections of the master video signal are followed by the slave machine thereby equating or synchronizing their timing components.

Abstract: A disposable blade carriage for straight razors that have a holder member and a guard member pivotally mounted on each other. The blade carriage is removably mounted in a longitudinally extending slot in the holder member. The blade carriage includes a latching mechanism on one end that rigidly attaches the carriage to the holder member and a hook member that prevents it from falling off from the other end.
Abstract: A fishing device for manually controlling a fishing line that utilizes the pulling force of a hooked fish to proportionally oppose that very same force without requiring an appreciable effort on the part of the user. A finger grip assembly is hingedly mounted to a line guiding assembly and the fishing line is passed between them. The fishing line is guided from one end to the other of the guiding assembly and passed through a passageway that diverts the pulling force to help sandwich the fishing line thereby frictionally opposing the pulling force of the hooked fish. Brake plates are mounted on the inner opposing walls to provide the frictionally opposing force indirectly.
Abstract: A roof tile that has a top upper rectangular flat member and a wedged honeycomb frame integrally built on its underside. Grooves are formed on the underside of the top rectangular member and substantially adjacent to the lateral sides of the top rectangular flat member. A cooperating gutter member is positioned below the interface of horizontally abutting tiles to collect the water that goes through the interface opening and to discharge it over the vertically abutting roof tile in front.
Abstract: A machine for making cookies for removably mounted cylinders that spread the dough on a conveyor belt and the dough is automatically formed into cookies. Mechanism for sprinkling material are positioned so that the particulate material falls on the surface where the dough is going to be deposited and on the cookies themselves. A trap for the excess of the particulate material is provided by routing the conveyor belt appropriately. This allows using that particulate material again.
Abstract: This invention provides for devices to hold dental floss on the fingers to eliminate the need for wrapping the floss on the finger in order to use the floss. It has a substantially flat structure with a hole in it into which the finger on a user is inserted. It also has at least one prong for releasably affixing the floss to.
Abstract: A device for transporting plants in their pots having a wheeled frame on which a support bracket member is mounted providing support for a base member that is spaced apart a sufficient vertical distance upwardly to form a compartment where a removable water reservoir is housed. The base has several upwardly extending members rigidly mounted on its periphery exerting an inwardly tension force on the pots being transported or resting thereon so that the pots are kept in place during their transportation. A telescopically extending handle is concealed within the device.
Abstract: An improved circuit breaker with overload condition illuminated indicator having a secondary switch coupled to the movement inherent in conventional circuit breaker levers. The improved circuit breaker is self-powered with batteries thereby insulating itself from possible power failures.
Abstract: A magnetically actuated illuminating warning device for conventional circuit breakers of the type that have a switch assembly with three possible positions for its switch lever. A battery powered illuminating device is mounted in the vicinity of the breaker and the illuminating circuit is interrupted by a magnetically actuated switch that is closed when a permanent magnet mounted on the switch lever comes within a predetermined distance. The position of the magnetic switch is selected so that it is actuated or closed when the switch lever is in the overload position.
Abstract: A roof tile of rectangular and flat shape that can be interlockingly disposed with longitudinally and laterally adjacent tiles. The tile includes a frame member mounted to the underside of a flat top member and the frame member being of smaller dimensions than the top member and positioned towards the rear portion of the top member, it provides an interlocking cavity towards the front section that houses the rear of a longitudinally contiguous tile. Lateral ribs and grooves cooperate to provide lateral interlock.
Abstract: A safety booster cable assembly for charging batteries from a D.C. source having one conductor for each electrode and one of those electrodes being normally interrupted by a relay, when there is no current through it, and the relay circuit is closed when the polarities of the conductors correspond. An AND, NAND or other suitable logic function, has its inputs connected to the source and battery electrodes connected through the normally interrupted conductor so that a suitable output is provided, when the polarities match, to activate the coil of the relay.
