  • Patent number: 11096321
Abstract: A component supply device, in which, a component storage tape is introduced to a first tape feed-out, unit through a tape introduction guiding unit, a first tape feed-out control unit controls the first tape feed-out unit to feed out the component storage tape. A first calculation unit calculates a standard tape length of the component storage tape. A second calculation unit calculates, based on the standard tape length, a target feed-out length of the component storage tape to be fed out by the second tape feed-out unit, so that a center of a leading component storage unit of the component storage tape coincides with a component extraction position. A second tape feed-out control unit controls the second tape feed-out unit so that the component storage tape is fed out based on the target feed-out length.

  • Patent number: 11096290
Abstract: The present invention is notably directed to a printed circuit board, or PCB. This PCB has two main surfaces, each delimited by lateral edges, as well as lateral surfaces, each meeting each of the two main surfaces at one lateral edge. The present PCB further comprises a row of solder pads, which extends along a lateral edge of the PCB. Each solder pad is formed directly at the lateral edge and/or directly on a lateral surface (meeting one of the two main surfaces at said lateral edge). I.e., each pad interrupts a lateral edge and/or an adjoining lateral surface. One or more chips, e.g., memory chips, can be mounted on such a PCB to form an IC package. The above solder pad arrangement allows particularly dense arrangements of IC packages to be obtained. The present invention is further directed to related devices and methods of fabrication thereof.

  • Patent number: 11077478
Abstract: A hydrostatic/hydrodynamic fluid bearing assembly for a can bodymaker is provided. The hydrostatic/hydrodynamic fluid bearing assembly is separate from the ram body. The outboard guide bearing assembly includes a carriage assembly and a number of elongated journals. The carriage assembly includes a ram coupling, a crank coupling, and body defining a number of journal passages. The ram body is coupled to a ram coupling. The crank coupling is structured to be coupled to a crank arm. Each journal extends through a carriage assembly body journal passage. In this configuration, the ram body may form a can body in a traditional manner, but fluid bearing assembly fluid is not applied to the ram body. Instead, the fluid bearing assembly fluid is applied to the journals.

  • Patent number: 11070184
Abstract: A method and structure for a transfer process for an acoustic resonator device. In an example, a bulk acoustic wave resonator (BAWR) with an air reflection cavity is formed. A piezoelectric thin film is grown on a crystalline substrate. A first patterned electrode is deposited on the surface of the piezoelectric film. An etched sacrificial layer is deposited over the first electrode and a planarized support layer is deposited over the sacrificial layer, which is then bonded to a substrate wafer. The crystalline substrate is removed and a second patterned electrode is deposited over a second surface of the film. The sacrificial layer is etched to release the air reflection cavity. Also, a cavity can instead be etched into the support layer prior to bonding with the substrate wafer. Alternatively, a reflector structure can be deposited on the first electrode, replacing the cavity.

  • Patent number: 11040387
Abstract: A method is disclosed for pressure forming a metal preform including shock annealing of the preform and subsequently preheating the preform prior to pressure forming. Shock annealing may be carried out as differential shock annealing in which different regions of the preform are annealed to different degrees. Preheating may be carried out by differentially preheating, optionally shock preheating, different regions of the preform for preheating at least those regions of the preform which will be subject to elevated expansion during pressure forming. Shock annealing by induction heating can lower energy consumption, reduce processing times and allow for larger expansion of the preform.
