  • Patent number: 11004036
Abstract: Content creation and deployment collaboration techniques are described. In one or more implementations, metadata that describes the creation of the content may be associated with the content. The content may then be provided from a content creation service to a content deployment service for deployment as part of a marketing activity. Deployment data obtained from this tracking may be utilized to support a variety of functionality, such as by content creators to determine which of their content has been successfully employed as part of marketing activities, marketers may also use knowledge of the deployment of the content to choose content to be included in a marketing activity as well as select content creators that are best suited to provide this content, used to configure badges, by retailers and manufacturers, and so forth.

  • Patent number: 10977678
Abstract: An apparatus, computer program product, and method are disclosed for improving relevance of promotions. An example apparatus includes communications circuitry configured to receive contextual data regarding a consumer device, transmit, to the consumer device, a message indicating terms of a promotion, and receive, from the consumer device, a message requesting purchase of the promotion. The example apparatus further includes design circuitry configured to identify a geographical area for redemption, retrieve a set of promotions related to the geographical area for redemption and to preferential indicators contained within the contextual data regarding the consumer device, determine a proximity density mapping of each promotion within the retrieved set of promotions, and select the promotion from the set of retrieved promotions based on a comparison of the determined proximity density mapping of the promotion to the proximity density mappings of the other promotions in the set of retrieved promotions.

  • Patent number: 10949873
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for enabling incremental reach for an advertising campaign, across multiple screens/channels. In some embodiments, a base TV/media plan is uploaded, and targeted exposed viewers are monitored. Unexposed target viewers are identified. Additional media channels that unexposed viewers use are found. Unexposed viewers are matched with pricing and media avails from one or more media directories. Media avails are then analyzed along with incremental on-target impressions. Targeted avails for unexposed viewers are then determined, based on lowest incremental cost and largest incremental reach are added to a current cross-screen plan. An analysis to find new unexposed viewers is then re-run to determine the next-most cost effective avails. The above steps are repeated or looped until a selected advertisement budget has been allocated. User interface embodiments for these methods are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10915912
Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing base pricing of products within a physical retailer are provided. Such systems and methods include first collecting transaction logs for products in a set of physical retail spaces. These logs are validated, adjusted and elasticities between the products are computed. The adjustment may be responsive to the day, by retailer and by a host of external factors (e.g., weather). The adjustment may also include a normalization and filtering out of inaccurate log data. Elasticity is calculated by generalized linear models. A set of constraints are then received and used, along with the elasticities.

  • Patent number: 10909561
Abstract: Systems and methods for offer redemption are provided. In some embodiments, payment data for a product is received via a payment gateway, along with an identifier unique to the payer. This payer identifier is correlated to a database associated with household IDs that have been collected from loyalty programs, pharmacy data and payment collected at a retailer. When the identifier has been associated with a household ID the system may identify applicable promotions that are associated with that household. The details of the offer/promotion are sent back to the point of sale where they are applied to the transaction. Once this is confirmed the adjusted payment is processed and the promotion is cleared from the database.

  • Patent number: 10878450
Abstract: A content provider specifies a content campaign along with a desired metric to achieve for the campaign, such as a budget. For each opportunity to present content to a user, an online publishing system selects content to a group of users using a selection process. To achieve the desired metric for the content campaign, the publishing system determines a probability of participating in the selection process with content from the content campaign based on feedback about the current performance of the campaign. For example, the system compares the opportunities passed and the budget spent for the content campaign to a current time and budget expenditure, and then it calculates an equilibrium probability that will achieve the desired budget at the end of the campaign. The system then determines whether to participate in a selection process for each new opportunity to present content using this adjusted equilibrium probability.

  • Patent number: 10846755
Abstract: A method for monitoring an advertising campaign is disclosed and includes receiving a campaign transaction signal, generating a discrete function based on the signal, and generating a continuous function based on the discrete function. The signal indicates a price and an event rate for impressions in the campaign. The discrete function indicates a discrete cumulative distribution of the impressions. The price dimension corresponds to an impression price independent variable. The event rate dimension corresponds to an event rate independent variable. The price dimension and the rate dimension are segmented into a plurality of bins based on threshold values. The continuous function indicates a continuous cumulative distribution of the impressions and is continuous in the price dimension and the rate dimension. The response function is also a continuous function. The response function is a function of control variable that parameterizes a correspondence between the price and event rate variables.

  • Patent number: 10846760
Abstract: An advertisement delivery system 1 includes an information manager, a timing information retriever, a selection determiner, and a selection handling processor. When switching between images displayed in a partial area on a web page is performed, the information manager keeps information about a pre-switching image even after the switching. The timing information retriever retrieves the timing of the switching and the timing of a selection operation by a user on the area. When the timing information retriever retrieves the timing of the selection operation within a predetermined time length after the switching, the selection determiner makes a determination as to which of the pre-switching image and a post-switching image the selection operation is intended for. Based on the determination, the selection handling processor performs a selection handling process based on information about the pre-switching image or the post-switching image.

  • Patent number: 10839417
Abstract: Gauging consumer interest of in-person visitors is described. In one or more embodiments, a promotional apparatus having a display screen and a wireless beacon is deployed at a venue. The promotional apparatus presents a video having multiple video segments. During the presentation, the beacon and a mobile device of a venue visitor communicate wirelessly to determine a proximity of the visitor to the display screen. Multiple distances are determined at multiple times. A path of movement can be determined from the distances over time. If the visitor alters a direction of travel to veer toward the screen or stops walking close to the screen, a system infers that the video has engaged the visitor's attention. By linking particular video segments to times at which the mobile device is proximate to the display screen, the system can further infer consumer interest in specific product features being shown at those times.
