A method of manufacturing includes disposing the first and second polymer sheets and the outsole in a mold assembly and thermally bonding the outsole to the second polymer sheet, and the first and second polymer sheets to one another to form a chamber.

Abstract: An electronically controlled bladder assembly includes an adjustable pressure bladder and a constant pressure reservoir connected by an electronically controlled valve. The electronically controlled valve is operated in a manner that inflates the adjustable bladder when the current pressure is below a target pressure and in a manner that deflates the adjustable bladder when the current pressure is above the target pressure. The inflation and deflation of the adjustable bladder are achieved in an iterative manner by controlling the flow of fluid between the constant pressure reservoir and the adjustable bladder over several cycles of heel strikes.

The method can include providing an upper having a liner secured thereto, closing an open bottom of the liner with a bottom closure without closing an open bottom of the upper, Strobel stitching a flexible Strobel board to the upper to close the upper bottom, placing the upper with the lining and Strobel board secured thereto on a last and joining an outsole with the upper. The liner bottom closure and Strobel board can be of a thickness and flexibility so that a wearer can perceive movement of the outsole underfoot. Accordingly, the footwear can provide enhanced proprioceptive feedback from a surface being traversed.

The fit adjustment system generally includes a plurality of arms or ends that extend from a mid-section. The arms or ends are typically positioned above the climbing shoe's upper and coupled near an eyestay of the shoe. The mid-section commonly extends diagonally across the bottom portion of the shoe between opposing ends or arms of the fit adjustment system.

The locking tabs engage to retain the cleat in the receptacle. Corresponding ramps on the cleat attachment structure and the receptacle cooperate to disengage the locking tabs when the cleat attachment structure is twisted about its axis. The cleat is thereby detached from the receptacle.

This tongue member is fastened to the belt such as by a rivet, firmly anchoring and securing the buckle to the belt and inhibiting movement of the buckle relative to the belt. At the front side of the buckle frame, a fixed prong projects inwardly towards the buckle opening. The prong rests against the belt once it is threaded through the buckle opening. A hook and loop closure system is used to attach the ends of the belt together once the belt is inserted through the buckle opening.

Thus, the container serves as a storage container to store the personal items, light up the interior of the container, a means to locate the container, a source of entertainment and a means to locate a user carrying the container from a distance.
