Abstract: A container is provided having a periphery and a base, which enclose a cavity. The periphery and the base are connected together, the periphery upwardly extending from the base. A tape holder may be connected to the container so that the tape holder lies outside of the cavity of the container. The roll of tape can be placed on the tape holder so when the tape is pulled through the “mud box”, the tape is thereby unwound. As the tape is manually pulled through the “mud box”, joint compound is thinly applied to one side of the tape. As this is done, the joint compound begins to “adhere” to the tape, conditioning the tape for excellent wall adhesion.

Abstract: A stack of 50 layers of a first pitch-base carbon fiber sheet is formed, two sets of stack each having two second pitch-base carbon fiber sheets stacked therein are fabricated. At this time, the second carbon fiber sheets have a thermal expansion coefficient larger than that of the first carbon fiber sheet. Next, the stack of the first carbon fiber sheet is then held between two sets of stack of the second carbon fiber sheets. The stack of the first and second carbon fiber sheets are then impregnated with an epoxy-base resin composition and the resin is solidified. As a result a prepreg composed of the first and second carbon fiber sheets and the resin component composed of the epoxy-base resin composition is obtained. Thereafter, interconnections and the like are then formed on the prepreg, to thereby complete a multilevel interconnection board.

  • Patent number: 7648733
Abstract: A polymer composite multiend roving material used to make structural composite parts includes a bundle of fibers held together by a high integrity sizing composition and surrounded by a powder coating polymer material. The powder coating material is approximately 10-80% of the dry weight of the multiend composite roving weight. The multiend composite roving material may then be easily processed further to form a molded composite part having good mechanical properties and high fiber content.
