  • Patent number: 11912256
Abstract: To suppress a sharp variation in the posture of a vehicle in a control apparatus that is configured to control the posture of the vehicle by adjusting a distribution ratio of a braking force between the front and rear during braking of the vehicle. The control apparatus includes a distribution setting unit that is configured to change the braking force distribution ratio from a basic braking force ratio during braking of the vehicle so that a posture of the vehicle follows a posture indicated by the target posture value. If the target posture value is varied when the braking force distribution ratio is different from the basic braking force ratio, the distribution setting unit sets the amount of change, by which the braking force distribution ratio is changed per unit time, equal to or smaller than a restriction amount.

Abstract: A disc brake runs wet by use of cooling fluid, in particular for a road vehicle, and includes stationary stator discs arranged in parallel to and at a distance from one other, and between which in each case a rotatable rotor disc is arranged. During braking, the radially extending stator discs and rotor discs can be pressed against one another, closing an air gap and, after the brake has been released, can be separated from one another, forming the air gap. The brake is designed such that the rotor discs have cooling channels which can be filled with cooling fluid immediately before or at the start of braking.

Abstract: A line-locking brake system consists of a brake pressure generator which, in conjunction with a brake fluid solenoid isolates the front brake circuit from the master cylinder while maintaining a precise brake pressure in the front brake hydraulic system. The brake pressure generator consists of a pressure amplifier having a high pressure chamber located in the flow path from the master cylinder to the front brake cylinders and a low pressure chamber in fluid communication with a regulated gas pressure source. When activated, the brake pressure generator applies a pressure to the front brake circuit that is directly proportional to the pressure of the regulated gas and therefore is precisely controllable irrespective of wear on parts, driver fatigue or other variables.
