Abstract: An article of furniture is disclosed. The article of furniture comprises a base frame assembly configured to support an attached seating unit. Other modules or components may also be attached to the base frame assembly. The article of furniture may also comprise a supplemental frame assembly attached to the base frame assembly to extend the size of the article of furniture and to support an additional or larger module or component. The other modules or components may comprise one or more of a casegood unit, a backrest, an armrest, a privacy panel, a console, an outlet (for power and/or data), etc. Electronic devices may be incorporated. A set of articles of furniture is also disclosed; the articles of furniture have a modular construction and can be assembled on the base frame assembly by combinations of modules and components.

Abstract: A seat and desk assembly has a seat integrated with a desk by a interconnecting base and floor. One or both of the seat or desk can be disconnected from the assembly and used independently. Removable panels for the desk can be used to display information and hold replaceable placards for various purposes. The height of the seat and desk can be adjusted on the assembly, and the bottom rest of the seat can be pivoted up against the back to allow a user to stand on the floor as a standing platform with a lumbar support curve positioned for leaning support of the low-back while standing. The depth of the seat can also be adjusted relative to the desk to provide additional room for standing. Additionally, the tabletop of the desk may be able to slide fore-aft relative to the seated user.

Abstract: A foldable artist bench includes a seat panel and first and second legs pivotally coupled to opposing ends of the seat panel so as to be pivotal between a working position and a storage position folded alongside the seat panel. A work support panel is formed integrally with the first leg at one end so as to be foldable therewith into the storage position. Abstract: A tailgating bench and table combination, including a bench portion, having a bench frame supporting a bench cushion, and further comprising a member insertable into a trailer hitch of a vehicle; a pair of leg members on the bench frame, supporting the bench portion; a flat table portion, having a pair of legs on the front end supporting the table portion; a second member extending from the bench frame to support the rear end of the table in a horizontal position adjacent the bench portion; wherein the first member extends rearward from the bench to be inserted into the trailer hitch opening; and wherein the second member extends forward from the bench, and further includes an upright portion which is secured to an underside of the table portion. The pair of legs on the front end of the table and on the bench frame are height adjustable.

Abstract: A seat divider for an automobile configured to create a barrier between children seated in the back seat of an automobile also allows visual contact and communications between them through a two-way viewing window and a top divider panel that can be raised and lowered when needed. The seat divider holds recessed desk top tables that can be extended and supported through their legs or by the armrests on the back seat for use by the children to read, write, watch DVD's, or play with toys. The seat divider also has storage space and trays to hold toys, books and other material as well as pen and pencil holders. The seat divider has specially configured seat belt and shoulder strap hooks that allow the middle seat belt and shoulder strap to be inserted through them to firmly secure the seat divider to the back seat of the vehicle.

The seat of the swing support structure is able to be configured in a reclined configuration for infants or an upright configuration for toddlers. The seat can be locked into the upright configuration when a tray is connected to the seat of the swing support structure. The seat is rotatably coupled to a frame of the swing support structure, where the swing is free to swing back and forth with respect to the frame. A passenger seating area for receipt of the passenger includes a seat that has a seat back that moves into a reclined position, a tray table that is operable to be positioned to provide a surface for use by the at least one passenger, and a light source disposed for illumination of at least a portion of the passenger seating area. A camera acquires an image of the passenger, and a gesture control module generates activity data that includes at least one activity that the passenger is performing as recognized in the image of the at least one passenger acquired by the camera. A smart control module moves the seat back, positions the tray table, activates or deactivates the light source and performs combinations thereof based on the activity data.

Abstract: The invention consists of modification to the groove of the side panels and integration of locking system on seat and foot plates of the adjustable chair for children. The upright panel of the adjustable high chair has grooves with a single or plurality of holes along the top and bottom surfaces of the groove to catch a comparable interlocking device, for locking desired object at various positions. The modification to the groove allows more versatility to adjustment of height, and exchanging the usability of the adjustable chair to other types of fixtures. In addition to the modification, similar groove system is to be added to the outer surface of the side panels to accommodate changing positions of the food tray or grab rail in accordance to the changing positions of the seat plates. This groove system can also be applied to other adjustable chairs.
