    Abstract: The present invention provides an organic anti-reflective film composition suitable for use in submicrolithography. The composition comprises a compound of chemical formula 11 and a compound of chemical formula 12. The organic anti-reflective film effectively absorbs the light penetrating through the photoresist film coated on top of the anti-reflective film, thereby greatly reducing the standing wave effect. Use of organic anti-reflective films of the present invention allows patterns to be formed in a well-defined, ultrafine configuration, providing a great contribution to the high integration of semiconductor devices. wherein a, b, c, R′, R″, R1, R2, R3, and R4 are those defined herein.

    Abstract: An improved resin for use in making honeycomb sandwich panels. The improvement involves modifying a phenolic resin so that the amount of smoke and heat generated during combustion is reduced. The reduction in smoke and heat generation is achieved by reducing the amount of phenol used to form the phenolic resin. The phenol is replaced by low-smoke producing sulfone compounds such as 4,4′-bisphenol-S, 3,3′-bisphenol-S, biphenol and bisphenol ethers which reduce the number of smoke producing methylene or methylene ether linkages present in the cured phenolic resin. The low-smoke producing resin may be used as a dip resin for coating the honeycomb or as the matrix resin for the core and face sheets of the sandwich panel.

The adhesive is prepared by reacting the cross-linking agent with the functional groups in the soybean flour. The present invention also relates to a method of making a composite product by providing particulate plant material and applying the soybean-based adhesive resin to the particulate plant material.

    Abstract: Polyacetal copolymers, obtained by copolymerizing (A) 100 parts by weight of trioxane, (B) 0.01 to 10 part(s) by weight of at least one compound selected from among glycidyl ether compounds of the following general formula (I), (II) or (III) and (C) 0 to 20 part(s) by weight of a cyclic ether compound [excluding the glydicyl ether compound (B)] copolymerizable with trioxane, are a polyacetal resin having a high rigidity, excellent creep properties, a high surface hardness and excellent sliding properties: wherein R1 is a C1-12 alkyl group, an aryl group or a substtituted aryl group; wherein R2 represents a C2-20 polyalkylene oxide glycol residue; wherein R4 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms; R5 represents an alkylene group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms.
