The method includes receiving an order for a product from a first requestor, the order identifying a delivery timeframe. The method further includes transmitting a request to reroute the undelivered shipment of the product to the first requestor within the delivery timeframe. The method still further includes processing the order for the product. The processing includes arranging delivery of the product to the second party. Systems and apparatus are also disclosed to implement the disclosed methods.

Abstract: A method for managing an electronic commerce (e-commerce) shopping cart may include, in a computing device comprising a touch screen, memory, and at least one processor, receiving a selection of one of a plurality of web pages associated with an e-commerce web site. The selected one of the plurality of web pages and an indication of the e-commerce shopping cart may be displayed on the touch screen. The indication of the e-commerce shopping cart may be integrated for display into each of the plurality of web pages. While displaying the selected one of the plurality of web pages and the indication of the e-commerce shopping cart, at least one gesture event associated with the e-commerce shopping cart may be detected. Access to the e-commerce shopping cart may be enabled upon detecting the at least one gesture event.

Alternatively, the mobile application encodes an identification of the items for purchase into an encoded image, which is scanned by a cashier, allowing the shopper to complete an accelerated check-out.

Control circuitry may then compare data corresponding to each streaming media of the plurality of streaming media to a database to determine whether each streaming media of the plurality of streaming media is accessible to the user at the second geographic location, and may determine that a subset of the plurality of media is not accessible to the user at the second geographic location. In response to determining that the subset is not accessible to the user at the second geographic location, the control circuitry may download each media of the subset.

Purchase information for items offered by participating vendors, or third-party vendors, is retrieved by the platform via APIs of the vendor network or automated middleware respectively. The user may select items for purchase and complete the transaction via single click, and the middleware forwards payment details to the third-party vendors and retrieves purchase information and transaction records from the third-party vendors. The client-side platform generates a single transaction and invoice whether the selected items are purchased from in-network or third-party vendors.

Abstract: A system and related method for completing online transactions via mobile device includes a client-side e-commerce platform executing on the mobile device that identifies candidate items for purchase based on images related to an item desired by the user. Purchase information for items offered by participating vendors is retrieved by the platform via APIs of the vendor network. Purchase information for items offered by third-party vendors outside the network is retrieved by a middleware platform called by the client-side platform. The user may select items for purchase and complete the transaction via single click, whereby the middleware forwards payment details to the third-party vendors and retrieves pricing, inventory, and purchase information (as well as authorization codes and records of the completed transaction) from the third-party vendors. The client-side platform generates a single transaction and invoice whether the selected items are purchased from in-network or third-party vendors.

The host may also perform user specific operations such as indicate an item in a cart is a duplicate of a previous purchase and monitor a price and/or available quantities of an item in the cart.

Abstract: The computer-implemented purchased part order data management system employs a database management computer hosting a purchased part order database and an automated data collection and review computer communicating with the database management computer. The data collection and review computer has a purchased part order data (PPOD) repository and a messaging system that includes a message routing data structure. Through an interface, a user interacts with the data collection and review system to add PPOD information, which is then made available to other users for review. The data collection and review computer records the status of the PPOD as it undergoes the review process and mediates which party is next invited to review the PPOD information. Once finally reviewed, the automated data collection and review computer issues a prompt to the database management computer to ingest information based on the PPOD.

The method may include a computer server associated with a store receiving multiple receipts for past purchase transactions from a customer. The server may also determine a date when the customer last purchased the particular product and transmit a purchase suggestion for the product to the customer at a time correlated with the customer needing to purchase the particular product based on a date when the customer last purchased the particular product and the frequency with which the customer purchases the particular product.

Abstract: A user and a merchant register an account with a payment processing system and each receive a unique identifier. When the registered user enters a search query for a product, the search engine system locates a product that matches the search query and that is associated with a registered merchant. The search engine system then confirms that the user and the merchant are registered, and creates a unique product identifier for the product. After associating the unique product identifier with the product, the search engine presents the product to the user with a direct purchase option. If the user selects a direct purchase option, the search engine system communicates with the payment processing system and merchant system to facilitate and verify the purchase transaction. The merchant then provides the product to the user.

Abstract: Methods and systems for facilitating collaborative shopping are described. A user creates and shares a shopping list containing desired items. The shopping list includes quantities of the items and deadlines for purchasing the items. When the user or one of his or her friends are at or near a location selling a desired item, they are alerted to purchase the item. As items are purchased by the user and his or her friends, the shopping list may be updated, and notes may be posted to the shopping list. Such updates and notes may include information regarding visited locations, prices of items, availability of items, restock or delivery dates, dates that locations were visited, etc.

The system includes gate cabinets and/or other entry points that define a passageway and separate a non-restricted access area from a restricted access area, at least one RFID transmitter positioned on the entry points, at least one RFID receiver positioned on the entry points, and a processor coupled with the RFID receiver. The system detects the presence of the RFID tag within the passageway and detects information linking to the account balance of the user. The system determines whether transit users are entering or exiting the restricted access area based on analysis of the wireless signals received by the RFID receivers, and provides an alarm signal when a transit user is not permitted to access the restricted access area.

It may be identified that a food item has moved to a monitored area using computer vision. Sensor readings may be obtained from a sensor array. A contamination of the food item may be determined using the sensor readings. The contamination of the food item may be associated with a contamination area in the monitored area using the computer vision. A notification may be output for display in the contamination area indicating the contamination.

Abstract: Techniques for determining a dynamic data feed may be provided. For example, a system may receive interaction data associated with one or more connection identifiers (e.g., interactions between one or more user accounts and one or more items, including one user interacting with a social network profile of another user, providing a review for an item after purchase, providing a rating associated with the item, adding an item to a wish list, a user sending a communication to another user, etc.). Card information, such as the card number, type, and expiration date, are read by the mobile device. If confirmed, the card is added to the user's mobile/cloud wallet.

Abstract: A decentralized ordering system allows a customer to track order status from a centralized order status system by providing a single, easily remembered identifier (such as a telephone number) without having to log in and without having to specify which local system is handling the customer's order. The central system communicates with each local system to obtain order status information. The central communication function handles all login and authentication requirements on the local systems, if necessary, and reformats the order status data, if necessary, to a common format for storage at the central location. The system also may notify the customer, via telephone, text message, instant message or electronic mail, whenever the order status changes or when the order status changes to a predetermined condition (such as “out for delivery”).

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for predictive analysis of computing patterns for preloaded data to reduce processing downtime. A user may utilize a computing device to interact with a service provider over a network connection, for example, to utilize one or more services or processes of the service provider. Based on the user's actions and/or historical data for the user, the service provider may determine potentially required data and/or processes of the user. The service provider may preload the data or processes, for example, by storing data to the communication device's cache or by executing some of the processes. The service provider may preload data to the communication device while the communication device has available bandwidth or network connectivity so that the data is available in an offline environment. Processes may be executed before requirement by the user during times of low processing load.

Abstract: The technology disclosed here encodes a clothing item ID as an alphanumeric code within the clothing item, such as within a radio-frequency identification tag. A clothing item cleaning appliance, such as a cell phone, or a washing machine reads the clothing item ID from the clothing item, and retrieves the care and content information from a database maintained on a cloud. For example, the care and content information can include operating settings of the washing machine. The washing machine can adjust its settings and wash the clothing item in accordance with the care and content information of the clothing item. The care and content information stored in the database can be organized in optimized data structures enabling efficient responses to received queries, and efficient updates to the information stored in the data structures.

Abstract: A method and system of using widgets embedded in web pages as virtual storefronts is disclosed. A user of a social networking site may create a merchant account with a transaction service provider. The user embeds a storefront widget provided by the transaction service provider in the user's profile page on the social networking site and the user can use the storefront widget to input information about products that the user is selling. Other users of the social networking site view the user's profile page and the storefront widget will display the products that the user is selling. The other users may interact with the storefront widget to purchase the products that the user is selling.
