    Abstract: A controlled delay circuit has a first gate chain, and a second gate chain. The first gate chain is used to measure a time difference between a changeover point of a first control signal and a changeover point of a second control signal. The second gate chain, which receives third signals generated in the first gate chain and representing the time difference, is used to provide an appropriate delay time from an input to an output depending on the time difference. The controlled delay circuit is capable of properly controlling the timing of the control signal according to the period of the control signal.

Also, ducts are provided in the outside panel, and the temperature of the outside panel itself is decreased by the action of the ducts. Further, a large number of protrusions are provided on the surface of the outside panel, and a heat insulating section is formed at the forward end of each protrusion, so that the apparent temperature is decreased.

This method allows to reliably form a self-aligned contact hole even if the pattern density is high.

This configuration improves the durability of the X-ray optical element and enables the length of the X-ray path to the X-ray irradiation point to be shortened so as to suppress attenuation of the emitted X-ray beam by air resistance and thereby reduce power consumption.

An endless heat transfer belt is trained around the heating roller and the fixing roller for transferring heat from the first heat source to heat the unfixed toner image on the sheet when the sheet passes through the rolling contact region.

An obtained compact is used for manufacture of a sintered body and a voice coil motor.
