Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for measuring the content of Lanthanides dissolved in uranium oxide, wherein the Lanthanides content in the nuclear fuel pellet is measured using the thermo gravimetric analysis which measures the weight variation caused by the oxidation and heat treatment of the nuclear fuel pellet. This method provides an advantage in that the Lanthanide content can be measured using relatively simple equipments such as an electric furnace and a balance.

Abstract: If only an operating button 14 is pushed, an electrically opening and closing mechanism 1 disengages a first clutch K1 while engaging a second clutch K2 to operate an electrically driving means 2 to automatically open or close a second member (e.g., a liquid crystal display panel) 4 which is rotatable with respect to a first member (e.g., a body having a plurality of keys) 3. If the operating button 14 is pushed, the second member 4 automatically rotates to an optional angular position with respect to the first member 3, and if the operating button 14 is released (if the operating button 14 is returned to the original angular position by the spring force of a second spring 23), the first clutch K1 is engaged at the optional angular position to hold the attitude of the second member 4.
Abstract: Disclosed are a method of reducing spent oxides nuclear fuel to nuclear-fuel metal, in which metal oxides are reduced to metals using an electrochemical reduction device with LiCl—Li2O salt as an electrolyte, a cathode electrode assembly used in the method, and a reduction device including the cathode electrode assembly. The method is advantageous in that the process of reducing the spent oxide nuclear fuel to the nuclear-fuel metal and another process of recovering Li are united to simplify the whole processes, direct use of high oxidative Li metals is excluded to secure safety, and conversion efficiency of the spent oxide nuclear fuel is 99% or more.

Abstract: An average bidirectional flow tube, including a body having two side plates and upper and lower plates, a partition plate installed to be perpendicular to the side plates of the body so that front and rear ends of the tube are separated from each other, and two pairs of pressure impulse lines installed at front and rear positions of the partition plate. The upper and lower plates of the body each have a curvature to be in contact with an inner surface of a pipe in which the average bidirectional flow tube is installed, and each of the pressure impulse lines is installed to communicate with an interior of the pipe. Although a two-phase flow occurs in the pipe or the flow of the fluid flowing in the pipe is changed, an average flow rate of a fluid can be measured. Particularly, it is easy to measure an average flow rate of the fluid when the fluid flows at a low speed. Further, even when sudden pressure reduction occurs in the pipe, an additional cooling device is not required.
Abstract: A method for the preparation of organic chelates utilized as ingredients of animal feedstuffs. The organic chelates are passed to the intestines of livestock without decomposition in the stomach, and thereby have a high absorption rate. The present invention provides a preparation method of perfect chelate minerals having a high yield and containing copper, zinc, iron, manganese, or cobalt. The organic chelate mineral is prepared by precipitating metal sulfates or chlorides with sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide in a solution of two equivalents of an amino acid completely dissolved at above 70° C., collecting metal hydroxide by removing sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate, sodium chloride or potassium chloride through filtering, dissolving the metal hydroxide by adding the equivalent weights of hydrochloric acid, and then neutralizing the hydrochloric acid added for dissolving metal hydroxide.
