Abstract: A novel dispensing apparatus and method for dispensing objects responsive to magnetic attraction retained thereon is provided comprising a strap and a permanent magnet in the form of a ring attached to the strap whereby objects responsive to magnetic attraction may be retained thereon for dispensing.
Abstract: A novel hand truck lift is provided comprising an elevating assembly which is extendable downwardly to easily enable the hand truck lift to be used to move objects supported thereon up and down stairs.
Abstract: A process for applying a decorative design to a hard surface is provided which utilizes a template with holes of a predetermined design cut by a water jet to give a feathered boundary to the holes. The feathered boundary enables a hard surface when painted to have the realistic appearance of a brick and mortar interface.
Abstract: A novel assembly for aquatic exercise utilizing a rod of various lengths upon which foam rubber discs can be mounted which are water absorbent so as to weigh a predetermined amount when fully saturated, which come in various sizes, and which are held onto the rod by end caps. The rods may also be interchanged with floats for aquatic exercise.
Abstract: A fishing rod holder for a fishing rod with an open face reel is provided which comprises a tubular rod holder defining a first slot along the longitudinal axis of the tubular rod holder and a second slot communicating transversely from a bottom portion of the first slot in a position transverse to the longitudinal axis of the tubular rod holder.
Abstract: An arm support and finger positioning stand for use by a manicurist in manicuring the fingernails of a customer has a first transverse arcuate surface B positioned at a level for supporting the hand by engaging the arm just below the wrist to serve as an arm rest; and a second transverse arcuate surface D positioned above and forwardly of the first transverse arcuate surface at a level for receiving the palm of the customer's hand with the fingers extending forwardly and curved downwardly resting upon a forward portion of the second transverse arcuate surface in position for being individually raised for manicuring a respective fingernail with the remaining fingers resting upon the forward position of the second transverse arcuate surface.
Abstract: A suction device for a bale opener is provided for sucking off fiber flocks having a suction hood (1) being arranged above the opening means of the bale opener, extending over the whole working width and being connected with a suction channel (6) for removal of the sucked fibers, which suction hood (1) has a suction opening opposite the bale surface and consists of two opposite side walls (4, 5) as well as a rear hood-limiting wall (3) and an upper hood-limiting wall (2) which are at least partially curved. The invention provides that the highest point or uppermost portion (13) of the upper hood-limiting wall (2) is arranged in the central area of the working width and that both hood limiting walls (2, 3) of the suction hood (1) have a continuous curve.
Abstract: A construction process and product thereof are provided which include affixing a construction medium simulating the appearance of solid stone to a construction frame to simulate a desirable appearance.
Abstract: A bottle hanger adapter having a collar defining an aperture and an outer circumferential rim for engaging a lip carried by a suction disc where the lip engages the collar and the collar rim thereby providing a means of supporting bottles carrying the collar.
Abstract: A dual-tank fuel utilization system is provided wherein a valve apparatus is used to control flow between dual fuel tanks and an engine, the valve apparatus comprising a housing having a plurality of inlet ports and exit ports and defining a plurality of passages therein and switching means for selectively blocking one of the passages while simultaneously allowing flow through another of the passages.
Abstract: A breech guide is provided for directing fishing line from a reel through the shaft of a fishing rod, exiting the rod tip through a rod tip eyelet. The breech guide is mounted to the rod through a breech guide receptacle incorporated into the rod blank.
Abstract: A novel can flattening apparatus and process is provided comprising a generally rectangular housing having side walls and a front compaction plate with the housing defining an entrance opening and an exit opening, a pivot rod extending through the housing, a pair of arms fixedly attached to the pivot rod and having rollers attached at the opposite ends thereof, a flattener plate disposed within the housing and being pivotally attached to the housing such that the flattener plate can fit flush against the front compaction plate, a structure for crimping the middle of a can mounted to the top of the flattener plate, a captive plate mounted to the structure for crimping the middle of a can.
