Abstract: An applicator trap guide is used to guide and coat newly synthesized synthetic filaments with a protective coating. The trap guide secures the filament against slippage while allowing rapid insertion of a filament into the trap guide and providing visual monitoring of the coating process.
Abstract: A safe and non-toxic process is provided for treating hot, newly formed soft elastic gelatin capsules to avoid their sticking to one another and to remove matter in the form of oils, pastes, and solid particles from exterior surfaces of the capsules, comprising the steps of: 1) cooling the capsules to aid in preventing capsule deformation and to aid in removing aqueous moisture from exterior surfaces of the capsules, and 2) contacting the capsules with an absorbent material to remove the matter from the exterior surfaces of the capsules. Alternatively, for certain type capsules, the process of the present invention may comprise the single step of absorption of matter from the exterior surfaces of the capsules.

Abstract: An apparatus for the feeding of individual carton blanks from a stack of blanks held in a retaining magazine to an adjacent takeaway belt of a conveyor. A bi-directional roller of two or more wheels is provided whereby a cleat attached to the rim of one wheel is used to bias a package blank to an adjacent carton blank conveyor. A second wheel of the roller rotates in the opposite direction of the first wheel which engages and supports the remaining blanks.

The channel is positioned over a generally liner joint or crack and then attached to the surface in which the crack apparatus thereby concealing the joint or crack.

Abstract: A generally continuous strip of thermoplastic material is deformed into a desired preformed configuration, while retaining continuity with the generally continuous strip to form a chain of the configurations. The chain remains continuous with the generally continuous strip. End portions of the chain are severed so as to form a stack of preformed configurations to be used in the formation of a dispensing cartridge.

Abstract: A wall mounting system wherein a single horizontal rail is attached to a wall structure and suspended components are supported by an undercut forming a cleat on the top of the rail. The supported structures may be cabinets, vertical rails supporting shelving brackets mounted so as to eliminate the view of the mounting system from a frontal observation, a novel insert is provided to aid in suspending members from the horizontal rail.

Abstract: A method for heating fuel by a fuel heater formed from an elongated unitary structure which defines a fuel channel passing through the length thereof and which defines in the bottom thereof a fuel intake. The unitary structure also defines a heating fluid inlet and outlet on one side of the fuel channel which communicate with one another on that one side of the fuel channel.
