Abstract: A data strobe signal generating device includes a preamble controller configured to generate a preamble signal enabled in synchronization with a first clock signal and disabled in synchronization with a second clock signal after an output enable signal is enabled, and a data strobe signal output unit configured to generate a data strobe signal in response to the preamble signal.
Abstract: Various embodiments of a collapsible charcoal starter are shown, described and claimed herein. In one embodiment, the charcoal starter includes six panels being hingedly interconnected to form a closed loop. The charcoal starter is configured to have an expanded position and a collapsed position, and can be moved therebetween without any disassembly of the charcoal starter. In the expanded position, the six panels form four walls or boundaries, whereby the walls define a volume for receiving charcoal briquettes. In the collapsed position, the six panels are oriented generally parallel. Moreover, four of the panels are sandwiched in between the two remaining panels. In this manner, the depth of the charcoal starter can be significantly reduced as compared to the expanded position, while the width is substantially the same in both the collapsed and expanded positions.
Abstract: A voltage stabilization circuit includes a control signal generating unit to generate a control signal that is enabled when a supply voltage is unstable and a voltage level maintaining unit for selectively controlling total capacitance of a plurality of capacitors to stabilize the supply voltage in response to the control signal.
Abstract: A system for facilitating the storage of an accessory part such as a changer station, bassinet or canopy includes a play yard, and an accessory kit that can be detachably or permanently secured on the play yard. The play yard comprises a frame structure having a plurality of side rail assemblies. The accessory kit comprises a foldable accessory part and a storage pocket that can be secured with one upper rim of the play yard. The accessory part can be folded into a compact form that fits in the storage pocket. When the user wishes to use the accessory part, the user can pull out and unfold the accessory part, and then fasten the accessory part on opposite sides of the play yard for adequate support. The ability to stow the accessory part in a compact manner in the play yard facilitates portability of the accessory part and play yard.

Abstract: The Container-Locking Device with respect to this particular invention has been designed to fasten the locking upright bar of one door of a container to another. It has been invented to include two virtually symmetrical segments of a pair of locking bar fasteners, where the flat end of each segment, opposite to the end fastened to the container door locking bar, will be fixed to one of the two virtually symmetrical segments of a padlock shroud. There is also a separation-prevention unit which prevents the shroud from being separated and eliminates the gap between the two segments when they are joined, in order to prevent a bolt cutter from being able to be inserted into the padlock shackle.

Abstract: An indoor localization method is implemented using an indoor localization system that includes beacons deployed in an indoor space and transmitting localization signals, and a radio badge for receiving the localization signals. The indoor localization method includes forming signal vectors from the localization signals received by the radio badge at each of predetermined locations in the indoor space, and generating a signal ID value from the signal vectors for each beacon from which the radio badge has received the localization signals. During a tracking phase, signal vectors are formed from the localization signals received by the radio badge at a current location. If the number of the signal ID values is smaller than the number of the signal vectors, the sum of the signal distances is normalized by the number of the signal ID values. An estimated position of the radio badge is obtained using the signal vectors and the signal ID values.
Abstract: An indoor localization method is implemented using an indoor localization system that includes beacons in an indoor space and each periodically transmitting a localization signal, a radio badge receiving the localization signals, and a host coupled to the beacons and the radio badge. The beacons transmit the localization signals asynchronously. The indoor localization method includes a training phase and a tracking phase. During the training phase, signal vectors are formed from the localization signals received by the radio badge, and a signal ID value is generated from the signal vectors. During the tracking phase, signal vectors are formed from the localization signals received by the radio badge at a current location. An estimated position of the radio badge is obtained using the signal vectors of the tracking phase and the signal ID values.
Abstract: A method for fabricating a floating gate memory device comprises using thin buried diffusion regions with increased encroachment by a buried diffusion oxide layer into the buried diffusion layer and underneath the tunnel oxide under the floating gate. Further, the floating gate polysilicon layer has a larger height than the buried diffusion height. The increased step height of the gate polysilicon layer to the buried diffusion layer, and the increased encroachment of the buried diffusion oxide, can produce a higher GCR, while still allowing decreased cell size using a virtual ground array design.
