Abstract: A stock supply train system for on-demand delivery of materials to a work station for selective loading and unloading, the supply train system having a displaceable railway train and a stationary track on which one or more railway cars roll under power of a stationary chain drive. The chain drive has a feed chain with opposite ends connected to respective opposite ends of the railway train, the train system including a stationary control panel at the work station for controlling operation of the chain drive and reciprocal displacement of the railway train on the railway track.

Abstract: A file maintenance system for computer processing of multiple files of a client/patient type, the files having record sets in an organizational structure combining a plurality of standard, categorical, field-defined records with identified text fields of fixed character length with a plurality of hybrid categorical, extended-field records of virtually unlimited character length with means for editing entered text without reentry of previously entered data in the extended field.

Abstract: A mechanism for cracking nuts utilizing a rotating member including a plurality of cells. Each cell of the rotating member is sized to contain a single nut which is accessible through an entrance to the cell. The cell also includes a plate against which the walnut may rest. Each nut, if elongated, is oriented in each of the cells such that the long axis of the nut lies between the entrance and the plate of each cell. Cracking heads are employed in association with each of the cells such that any single cracking head is sized to move freely in and out of the entrance of each of the cells and may contact the nut within each cell. A striker or impact producing device imparts an impinging force to any of the cracking heads to crack the nut between the cracking head and plate within each of the cells of the rotating member.

Abstract: A cellular telephone accounting system includes an integrated hardware system interlinking a cellular telephone unit, a telephone interlink receiver, and a central processing unit connected to the interlink receiver. The hardware system also preferably includes a receipt printer and a credit card reader. The cellular telephone unit is equipped with an internal real time clock and calendar circuit and memory store to record the time and date of calls for reporting to the central processing unit to enable tracking and detailed accounting of calls.

Abstract: A loudspeaker apparatus utilizing a ribbon diaphragm which is capable of transforming an electrical signal into an audio acoustical signal. The diaphragm includes a first side and a second opposite side. First and second magnets are also employed in the present invention and are mounted to the edges of the diaphragm such that the diaphragm lies in the magnetic field generated by the pair of magnets. A first plurality of spaced magnetic plates are stacked and extend continuously from the first magnet to the second magnet at the first side of the diaphragm. The first plurality of plates form a throat-shaped cavity of a predetermined size. A second plurality of spaced magnetic focusing plates are stacked on the second side of the diaphragm in the same manner. A plurality of sound damping shims are interposed each of the first plurality of magnetic focusing plates on the sides of the throat-shaped cavity.

Abstract: A method for site remediation for mitigating contamination from metals or metal compounds, particularly resulting from the situation of mine tailing waste on or near water sources, including the reprocessing and redeposit of separated sands and slimes in-site in a manner to encourage rather than inhibit leaching of residuals by chelating agents or biological agents with recovery of leachate and removal of metals or metal compounds.

Abstract: An atmospheric deaerator unit having a vessel divided into an atmospheric section and a low pressure section, the low pressure section containing steam supply line for deaerating a water spray circulated from the atmospheric section through a water circulating line using a series of spray heads for spraying water into the low pressure section, the circulating line communicating between the low pressure section and the atmospheric section, the atmospheric section having a vent open to atmosphere with a vent condenser to purge vented non-condensible gases from the atmospheric section, and, the low pressure section being pressure protected by a water column conduit communicating between the vessel sections to return overflow water and blow-through excess pressurized steam and vapor from the pressurized section to the atmospheric section, the unit being controlled by a steam control valve using pressure of the pressurized section or water temperature in the atmospheric section.

Abstract: A high pressure fuel injector system including a high pressure fuel pump useable with a pressure booster, a pressure stabilizer with a high speed tandem actuated distributor and a fuel having a fuel injector with high pressure fuel admisstion passages and low pressure fuel return passages with a needle valve hydraulically operated by high pressure fuel from the high pressure fuel admission passage by a distributor valve which selectively directs a hydraulic pressure fuel against one side or the other of a piston body forming part of the needle valve whereby the needle valve is urged to a position closing discharge orifices or position opening discharge orifices the distributor valve being controlled by an electronic actuator wherein the injector system is designed with unique floating valve pistons in the components, the components being useable separately or together in the integrated systems preferred for high pressure, high speed operation.

Abstract: A doweling template for accurately drilling holes in a work piece utilizing a structural member. The structural member includes first and second sets of parallel bores which are orthogonally oriented relative to one another. First and second guides align the first and second sets of parallel bores with the work piece, respectively. Each of the guides is removably fastened to planar sides of the work piece to permit usage of the doweling template in restricted work areas.

The container is vibrated to promote evaporation of the liquid and, simultaneously, to produce a sound which drives away the pests. Power is provided to the vibrator and is initiated by switch which may be operated by a movement sensor.

Abstract: A sign having variable indicators utilizing a static member in the form of a plate with a first surface and a second opposite surface. First and second slots are also provided along the static member between the first and second surfaces. A removable member having first and second surfaces lies adjacent the static member. The movable member includes indicia indicating direction which is capable of aligning with the first and second slots of the first member when the movable first surface moves adjacent the second surface of the static member. The movable member may be confined to the static member to form a sign unit.

Abstract: A device for harvesting fruit for biological entities such as a tree or bush utilizing a frame member. The frame member includes a first cutting edge portion and a second cutting edge portion which is linked to the frame member. The first and second cutting edge portions are positioned adjacent one another and form a converging channel which is capable of severing attachment of the fruit attached to the tree. Handle means is also included for permitting the user to grip the frame member and capture fruit in the channel portion formed by the first and second cutting edges.
