  • Patent number: 8087800
Abstract: This invention relates to optical devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a collimated optical light source assembly that produces a uniform white light. Specifically, light from a multi-cavity RGB LED array is dispersed in a reflecting cavity having a Lambertian texture on the interior surface. The light is then emitted though a lenslet array and a cone lens which together further disperses the light emitted by the individual LEDs. The dispersed light is then collimated by a reflector.

  • Patent number: 8084319
Abstract: Methods are provided for fabricating devices. A first layer is formed. A hardmask on the first layer is formed. Features on the hardmask are patterned. The sizes of features on the hardmask are reduced by applying a plasma treatment process to form reduced size features. Also, the size of features on the hardmask can be enlarged to form enlarged size features by applying the plasma treatment process and/or removing the oxidized part of the feature during plasma treatment process. Another method may include a first layer formed on a substrate and a second layer formed on the first layer. First features are patterned on the first layer, and second features are patterned on the second layer. A size of second features on the second layer is closed due to the different oxidation rate of the two layers during the plasma treatment process, to form a self-sealed channel and/or self-buried trench.

  • Patent number: 8084971
Abstract: An energization signal generating circuit respectively compares back electromotive forces generated in coils of each phase of a motor with a midpoint voltage of each phase, and generates energization signals. A pulse signal generating circuit generates a pulse signal in which duty ratio is controlled according to torque. A ramp signal generating circuit divides, into a plurality of times, a period of a frequency generation signal obtained by synthesizing the energization signals, and, for each divided time unit, generates a ramp signal in which pulse width gradually changes, and which has a frequency the same as the pulse signal. An output circuit supplies a drive current to the coils of each phase, based on the energization signals, the pulse signal, and the ramp signal.
