Abstract: A housing of an electrical plug-in connector having a high-current socket. The high-current socket is formed by a contact segment consisting of contact tongues, an intermediate segment, and an attachment segment, whereby the material thickness of the attachment segment is greater than the material thickness of the intermediate segment and the contact segment. A counter-contact surface for interaction with this change in the material thickness, which is configured in the form of a step, is provided in the housing. Furthermore, the high-current socket is fixed in place in the housing by means of resilient tongues on the intermediate segment, and a catch projection in the recess in the housing.
Abstract: A nozzle for foaming, spraying or misting a first media in the form of a liquid with at least one pressurized second medium, in particular a gaseous or gas-containing medium. An outlet for a foam produced is arranged on the nozzle. The nozzle includes a housing with at least one radially, obliquely, tangentially, obliquely tangentially or perpendicularly tangentially inwardly directed duct for feeding the second medium and a first inlet for feeding the media to be foamed.
Abstract: In a window member (10) to be used as a window of a combustion apparatus, adjusting means is bonded to a substrate (11) made of glass. The adjusting means adjusts an average transmittance of the window member so that the average transmittance at a thickness of 4 mm for an electromagnetic wave having a wavelength of 0.4–0.8 ?m falls within a range between 10 and 50%. The adjusting means may comprise a film member (12) bonded to a principal surface (11a) of the substrate.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of linking several current sources, in particular several welding devices (1; 27; 28), plasma current sources or similar. Operating individually and independently of one another, a process control and/or regulating system (4; 31; 32) in every welding device (1; 27; 28) transmits desired values to a voltage-to-current controller of a power component (3; 29; 30). The power component (3; 29; 30) supplies a consumer connected to output jacks (38, 39; 40, 41; 42, 43) with power on the basis of the desired values.
Abstract: An optical fiber collimator array includes an optical fiber array block and a microlens array substrate. The optical fiber array block includes an angled surface and is configured to receive and retain a plurality of individual optical fibers, which carry optical signals. The microlens array substrate includes a plurality of microlenses integrated along a microlens surface and a sloped surface opposite the microlens surface. The microlens surface is coupled to the angled surface such that the optical signals from the individual optical fibers are each collimated by a different one of the integrated microlenses.
Abstract: An apparatus for separating and converting exhaust particulates from a stream of exhaust gas, especially a diesel engine, into gaseous substances, in which the exhaust gas is guided through a honeycomb filter (6) made from a porous ceramic material whose axially extending channels (1, 2) are open merely at one face side of the filter and are closed off at the respective other face side, and a voltage is applied to electrodes (3, 4) extending parallel to the channels (1, 2) of the honeycomb filter (6). The closure of the channels (1, 2) at the face side is made in such a way that the channels (1, 2) each extending at the same normal distance from one of the electrodes (3, 4) are either all open or all closed off at their face side (9). The channels (1, 2) are mutually offset in a brickwork-like way.

Abstract: A method and system for playing a dice game using a pair of dice. A primary player is first established. At least one wagers is then made from each player that one of a plurality of events will occur with the roll of the dice. The primary player then rolls the pair of dice. The wagers are then resolved based on each roll of the dice. Every roll of the dice presents a win/lose factor permitting players' wagers to be resolved with each roll. The game includes a playing surface for playing the game using a pair of dice, chips and a stick. The playing surface has a central area for all wagers that the result on the dice will be a seven, a first surrounding area around said central area for all wagers that the roll of the dice will result in a number greater than seven, and a second surrounding area around said central area for all wagers that the roll of the dice will result in a number less than seven.
Abstract: The invention relates to a waste-heat boiler (3) for a Claus plant, comprising a steam generation chamber that is surrounded by a pressure-proof jacket (14), a long tube bundle (18) of heat exchanger tubes that extend through the steam generation chamber and are inserted into tube sheets (19) at both ends, at least one additional tube bundle (20) of shorter heat exchanger tubes, which are likewise inserted into the tube sheets (19) at their outlet ends and open into an influx chamber (21) at their inlet ends, in addition to a head part (22) that is connected to the tube sheet (19) at the outlet end and is subdivided into sections. The long tube bundle (18) is traversed by a hot process gas that emerges from a combustion chamber (2). The influx chamber (21) is located inside the steam generation chamber and is exposed to a cooler process gas (10) from a catalyst stage (4) of the Claus plant. One tube bundle (18, 20) is allocated to each section of the head part (22).
Abstract: For optically measuring black carbon in the atmosphere an aerosol particle collection area of a filter tape is continually illuminated by an illumination source with light of one or more wavelengths. Transmitted and reflected light fractions are measured at several precisely defined angles or angle ranges, such as of 0°, 120 to 140° and 165° to 180° by photodetectors arranged correspondingly relative to the illumination source, achieving maximum symmetry for the angles to be measured. The loading of the filter tape collection area with light absorbing aerosol material is continually determined from the change in the optical properties of the collection area with the aid of known algorithms from transmissivities and reflectivities as detected.

Abstract: The present invention relates to extension hair used to stage thin or short hair long. An upper inserting part of an flexible wire-form hair guiding loop, in which a hanging part is formed in the middle part and an inserting part and a drawing-out part are formed in the upper part, is inserted from the lower part to the upper part of the hair connecting tube so that the inserting part is exposed toward the upper part of the hair connecting tube. Separating freely from the hair connecting tube and drawing it down to the lower part of the hair connecting tube by the lower drawing-out part, it is possible for anybody skilled or not skilled to insert the hair into the hair connecting tube by a simple operation without an extra hair-guiding hook.
Abstract: A plug-in connector for connecting and transmitting signals from a circuit board to a back plane wherein the plug-in connector comprises an optical conductor for transmitting optical signals into the plug-in connector and at least one mirror coupled to the optical conductor for deflecting light at an approximately 90° angle in the plug-in connector. There is also a lens system disposed adjacent to the mirror and coupled to the optical conductor for coupling the light into the plug-in connector. This optical conductor can comprise a plurality of glass fiber lines for coupling in the optical signal. Alternatively, this optical conductor could be lines formed from plastic polymers.
