  • Patent number: 7082718
Abstract: A culture tray, in particular for the rooting of young plants, includes channels that run in parallel and at predefinable distances and serve to accommodate young plants. To enable removal of individual young plants preferably without harming them and to enable relatively economical consumption of water for the young plants the space for each young plant is limited by the sidewalls of the channel and across the longitudinal direction of the channel by partition webs. This arrangement will, in particular, ensure that the water is directly supplied to each plant space and, moreover, that the plants can be pushed sideways out of the culture tray by pushing out of the culture tray the web and ledge skeletons, and the plants are easy to take out, because there are then no sidewalls.

  • Patent number: 7084047
Abstract: A method for the production of individual integrated circuit arrangements from a wafer composite is disclosed, whereby the wafer is fixed with the component side (FS) on a support, the individual circuit arrangements (21) are separated on the support body by the etching of separating trenches (27) and individually lifted from the support body. The semiconductor substrate (20) is reduced in thickness during the fixing of the wafer to the support body, preferably to a substrate thickness of less than 100 ?m. A reverse face metallization (31) is deposited on the back face (RS) of the thinned substrate, preferably after separation of the circuit arrangements on the support body.

  • Patent number: 7083691
Abstract: A method for the production of an elastic, air-permeable laminate film is disclosed, whereby material webs made of a fiber non-woven fabric are applied to both sides of an elastomer layer, and the multi-layered material subsequently runs through an ultrasound bonding station. The elastomer layer is melted to form point-shaped bonds at discrete locations by means of ultrasound, while maintaining the substance of the fiber non-woven fabric. An air-permeable structure is formed at the melted sites. According to the method, a melt film made of a thermoplastic elastomer is passed to a laminating unit and introduced, in the thermoplasticized state, between two material webs of fiber non-woven fabric that run into the laminating unit. The melted intermediate layer of the multi-layered material is cooled to solidification temperature, whereby a laminate with cover layers made of fiber non-woven fabric is produced. The laminate is subsequently passed to the ultrasound bonding station.

  • Patent number: 7080610
Abstract: Cooled two-part piston for internal combustion engines having an upper piston part containing the piston ring grooves and piston pin bosses, and a piston skirt connected with the former exclusively by way of a piston pin. The upper piston part has a cooling oil annular channel that is open towards the piston skirt, into which channel the cooling oil is introduced, and discharged. There are collecting pockets attached at the upper end of the piston skirt, which faces the upper piston part. The pockets at least partially cover the cooling oil annular channel. When the engine and piston are arranged horizontally, a tub-shaped recess is provided in an interior bottom region of the piston skirt for accommodating cooling oil. The circumferential wall limitation of the recess is formed exclusively by a wall of the inside piston skirt.

  • Patent number: 7080842
Abstract: A device for climbing stairs for a wheelchair having a chassis (1) having a lifting device (3) and having receivers (17, 18) for the running wheels (16) of the wheelchair on arms running transversely to the wheel axles laterally next to the chassis (1) is described. In order to provide advantageous construction conditions, it is suggested that the arms each form at least one bow (10), which is mounted so it is pivotable around a transverse axis (11) positioned in a frame (7) from a stop-delimited pivoted-out position into a positioned pivoted in against the frame (7), and the frame (7), which is linked laterally to the chassis (1) around a longitudinal axis (8), may be folded up from a stop-delimited, folded-down operating position into a rest position.

  • Patent number: 7077093
Abstract: The present invention relates to a fresh gas supply system for an internal combustion engine, in particular of a motor vehicle. A fresh gas distributor can be connected on the inlet side with a fresh gas feed line, and on the outlet side to an internal combustion engine by means of several connection pipes. The connection pipes are allocated in each case to a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. An improvement in the fresh gas supply system can be achieved in that a bypass resonator or Helmholtz resonator is connected to the fresh gas distributor, which, at a predetermined revolution speed of the internal combustion engine, improves the fresh gas filling of the combustion chambers by resonance charging.

  • Patent number: 7077618
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for lilting and removing oven doors of a coking oven that is comprised of a door removing head (1), which can be coupled to vertically extending oven doors of a horizontal chamber coking oven, of a drive device (3) for effecting adjusting movements of the door removing head (1), and of a suction hood, which can be displaced along the horizontal chamber coking oven above the oven door. According to the invention, sealing elements (5) are connected to the door removing head (1) and, on both sides of an oven door (2) to be opened, can be displaced against front contact surfaces (6) of the horizontal chamber coking oven. Said sealing elements extend essentially over the entire height of the oven door (2) and into the suction area (4) of the suction hood, and they form a suction chamber (8) for door emissions when the oven door (2) is opened.

  • Patent number: 7077878
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to provide a method for gasifying organic materials which is simple to carry out and requires minimal equipment and which produced an undiluted gas of high calorific value. The inventive method should eliminate the need to use fluid beds and heat exchangers with high temperatures on both sides, with the heat being transferred from the furnace to a heat-carrying medium in a particularly defined way. To this end, the feed material is divided into a volatile phase and a solid carbon-containing residue in the pyrolysis reactor by circulating a hot heat-carrying medium. After the reaction agent has been added, said volatile phase is converted into the product gas by further heating in the reaction area, also using the heat-carrying medium. The solid, carbon-containing residue is separated from the heat-carrying medium in the separating stage and burnt in the furnace.
