  • Patent number: 7055302
Abstract: The invention relates to a traveling device, which can be preferably mounted on a vehicle, provided for completely removing and reducing the size of trees, particularly fruit trees, which are growing in a row, including their roots. The device comprises a cutting tool for reducing the size of the trees fed thereto, an ejector, which is mounted on the cutting tool and provided for ejecting the trees cut in the cutting tool, and a feed device that, in a direction of travel, is located in front of the cutting tool and provided for feeding the trees to be cut into the cutting tool. The feed device comprises two driven, vertical draw-in rollers, which are located close to the ground and form a gap. When operating the device, these rollers seize trees that are pushed down in the direction of travel, squeeze them inside the gap and push them toward the cutting tool. The feed device also comprises at least one driven clearing roller placed in the ground whereby being situated transversal to the direction of travel.

  • Patent number: 7048029
Abstract: A sectional door having a door frame, a door panel comprising sections coupled to another in articulated manner, a weight equalization device coupled to the door panel, and an electrical door drive for opening and closing movements of said door panel. The uppermost section in the closed position of the door panel, is guided on running rails as the header section, wherein said rails extend essentially horizontally up to the door frame, and have a vertical end segment on the frame side. The other sections that follow below the header section are guided in guide rails that have a vertical segment along the door frame, a horizontal segment parallel to the running rail that holds the header section, and an arc that joins the two segments. With this device, the door drive is attached to one of the sections connected below the header section, and has at least one power take-off shaft having an impeller at the end. The driven impeller engages in the guide rail and moves the door panel.

  • Patent number: 7048658
Abstract: A device for converting a rotational movement into an axial movement includes driven planetary rollers (10) and a sliding body (5) that can be axially displaced by means of the planetary rollers (10). The planetary rollers (10) are fixed axially in a driven carrier (9), are rotationally mounted and are provided with grooves (11). The grooves (11) of these planetary rollers (10) engage in a thread-type groove of the sliding body (5). In the center of the carrier (9) a bearing body (7) is provided, which engages in the grooves (11). The grooves (11 and 12) have a mutually adapted gradient, and the planetary rollers (10) and the bearing body (7) engage with one another without slip. Also the carrier (9) and the bearing body (7) engage with one another without slip. The carrier (9) and the bearing body (7) are driven in a rotational relationship, which guarantees that no slip occurs between the planetary rollers (10) and the sliding body (5).

  • Patent number: 7049547
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of transmitting data between and/or synchronising at least two welding devices (1, 27) or current sources or with another component and another device, which are supplied with energy via a supply network (35), whereby the functions of the welding process are controlled and/or regulated by means of a control system (4, 30) of the welding device (1, 27). The data, signals and welding parameters or synchronisation signals to be transmitted from a welding device (1, 27) or a welding current source or another component and another device, in particular by a processor, a PLC controller, a data module or a computer, etc., are converted by means of a communication unit (36, 37) into a data protocol which is then modulated by a communication unit (36, 37), in particular a modulation module (42, 43), across the supply network (35).

  • Patent number: 7045144
Abstract: The invention relates to a plaster containing an active agent, comprising at least one cover membrane and an active membrane which is based on a skin-compatible matrix containing a molecular sieve which is loaded with at least one active agent. The molecular sieve/active agent adduct releases the active agent when the active membrane comes into contact with the skin, in conjunction with the transpired water of the skin. The inventive plaster is characterised in that the molecular sieve/active agent adduct also contains water of crystallisation, to the extent that the molecular sieve is partially hydrated compared to a sufficient basic molar quantity (m) of water of crystallisation, the molecular sieve with the reduced molar quantity (m?) of water of crystallisation being loaded with the active agent (Z, Z1, Z2) so that when the active membrane comes into contact with the skin, water is absorbed and the active agent is desorbed, whereupon the water of crystallisation content of the molecular sieve increases.

  • Patent number: 7040752
Abstract: A set of eyeglasses that are in the form of rimless drill mounted eyeglasses wherein the eyeglass lenses have through bores on the outer edges for accommodating regions of the bridge or the temples. These temple wires can comprise an element of the temple hinge. In this case, the ends of the bridge and the ends of the temples or frame elements are supposed to be attached so that they can hardly be perceived. This design is achieved so that each through bore for the bridge or temple elements has two additional through bores assigned to it for passing through a plastic filament that fixes these elements in place in the eyeglass lens.
