Abstract: A pressure adjuster having electromagnetically actuatable valves, which are combined with a valve block. Each valve has one valve dome that protrudes from a support face of the valve block, and one coil alignable with and mountable on the valve dome. The coils are received in a cap secured to the valve block. The valve block is also provided with a spring element that encompasses the valve domes, for the axial-play- free positional fixation of the coils to the valve domes. By means of the shaping of the spring element, it is attained that this element, in the premounted state, engages the rows of outer valve domes with prestressing, but when the coils are mounted on the valve domes is lifted away from the coils. In the premounted state, the spring element is thus rendered captive. The electrohydraulic pressure adjuster can be used for slip-controlled vehicle brake systems.
Abstract: A temperature sensor for measuring and/or monitoring the temperature of a medium flowing in a flow conduit of an internal combustion engine. The sensor has a one-piece plastic body with a sensor and plug part, a resistor element, connecting plug tongues, and a housing that receives the sensor part. In order to reduce production and installation costs and to attain other advantages as well, the housing is of temperature-resistant plastic that absorbs little moisture, sprayed directly onto the sensor part. For sealingly and securing the housing in a receiving bore in the wall of the flow conduit, a radially protruding annular bead is injection molded to the housing, and a sealing ring is plastic between the plug part and the annular bead.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an eccentric arrangement for a reciprocating piston pump, having a drive shaft drivable by a drive device, an eccentric part of a rubber-elastically deformable material is disposed on the drive shaft in a manner fixed against relative rotation. A bearing ring is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the eccentric part, by which ring a reciprocating piston is displaceable driven substantially perpendicular to the drive shaft. To avoid stroke losses, first and second support faces are provided on the drive shaft which the eccentric part disposed between them in such a way that the eccentric part rests with its axial ends on the first and second support faces.
Abstract: In a method of removing dioxins in a waste incineration plant for cooling combustion gases from an incinerator by means of a first and/or second heat exchangers, and for exhausting the gases into the atmosphere through a dust collector of a bag-filter. The method comprises the steps of controlling a temperature of the gases right after the first heat exchanger within a range of 200.degree. C..about.140.degree. C., by use of the first heat exchanger, and also controlling a pressure loss of the gases right after the first heat exchanger within a range of -20 mmH.sub.2 O.about.-60 mmH.sub.2 O.
Abstract: A fuel injection system for internal combustion engines, having a high-pressure pump, whose pump work chamber can be made to communicate on the intake side with a fuel tank via a supply line and on the compression side with a common rail via a high-pressure line, from which common rail a plurality of injection lines lead away to the individual injection valves, and having one pressure valve each in the supply line and the high-pressure line, by way of which a return flow of fuel out of the pump work chamber into the supply line and out of the high-pressure line into the pump work chamber is prevented. The pressure valve of the supply line and the pressure valve of the high-pressure line are disposed in a common valve combination.

Abstract: An electromagnetically operated valve which attains an automatic establishment of a reduced flow cross section that is effective after a closing position of the valve. The valve has a magnet armature, longitudinally movable in a valve dome, with a valve tappet for actuation of a seat valve. The seat valve is located in a valve chamber from which pressure fluid conduits, leads to upper and lower face ends of the circumferentially sealed off magnet armature. When the valve is opening from the closing position, an additional force acting in the closing direction upon the magnet armature is generated because of the shaping of the seat valve, and as a result of this additional force the seat valve assumes a partly closed position that is different from its position of repose. The valve is applicable particularly to traction-controlled hydraulic brake systems of motor vehicles.

Abstract: A discrete material washing apparatus comprises a structure mounting an elongate trough having an inlet and an outlet. A dished tray is mounted on the structure and shaped to feed into the inlet. The tray is to receive disposal of a cementitious mixture therein. A cylindrical screen has a net surface. The screen extends substantially along the length of the trough and is adapted for rotation. Water spray is provided to play on any mixture disposed onto the tray and passed through the inlet into the interior of the screen for size classification with smaller particles able to pass through the mesh of the screen surface into the trough and larger particles remaining in the screen. A first mechanism is provided to remove the smaller particles from the trough, and a second mechanism is provided to remove the larger particles from the interior of the screen through the outlet of the trough. A weir is provided in at least one longitudinal side of the trough for removal of the cementitious water therefrom.

Abstract: A device for restraining a pet such as a dog or cat or any other animal while being bathed or groomed. The device includes adjustable straps connected at one end to suitable suction cups which are secured to a surface when used. The opposite end of the straps are secured to a swivel snaphook such that the swivel snaphook is substantially at a mid-point between the suction cups. The straps can be held in place at the connections by use of strap adjusters so that the length of the device between the suction cups can be adjusted.

Abstract: The brake system includes a first and a second diagonal brake circuit distribution. A first 2/2-way valve is located in a first line between a master cylinder and a wheel brake cylinder of the front axle. On the wheel brake side, a second line, in which a second 2/2-way valve is disposed, branches off from the first line, leading to a wheel brake cylinder of the rear axle. A third line originates between the second multiposition valve and the wheel brake cylinder and has a pump, with which pressure fluid can be fed from the wheel brake cylinders to the master cylinder. Brake force distribution that is dependent on the dynamic axle load shifting, and within limits, individual-wheel brake pressure control if wheel locking threatens, are thus made possible.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition and direct injection comprising an intake tube, having at least two combustion chambers with at least one inlet valve and at least one outlet valve per combustion chamber and a fuel injection valve that injects directly into the combustion chamber. A supply line to the at least one inlet valve of each combustion chamber, in which air that is controlled by a throttle mechanism flows from the intake tube, wherein evaporated fuel from a fuel vapor retention system of a fuel tank of the engine is supplied to the air downstream of the throttle mechanism. The introduction of the evaporated fuel from the fuel vapor retention system into the supply line is only carried out in a partial number of the combustion chambers, in particular in a single combustion chamber of the engine.
Abstract: A fuel injection device for internal combustion engines, having a high-pressure fuel pump, which pumps fuel from a low-pressure chamber via a feed line into a high-pressure collection chamber that communicates via high-pressure lines with the individual injection valves that protrude into the combustion chamber of the engine to be supplied. In order for this system to make variable injection cross sections at the injection valves possible, these injection valves are embodied as injection valves with an outward-opening valve member, via whose controllable opening stroke motion in the direction of the combustion chamber, a variable injection cross section can be adjusted at the injection valve.
