Abstract: The fluid pump has a pump impeller provided with vanes and driven to revolve in a pump chamber that is defined by one wall portion each in the direction of the rotary axis of the pump impeller. In both wall portions, toward the pump impeller, there is an annular supply conduit and an outlet opening that discharges into one supply conduit. The outlet opening is defined in the rotational direction of the pump impeller by a wall which comes to an end in the form of an edge of the end face of the wall portion. The edge has an inner portion, which is inclined in the rotational direction relative to the rotary axis with respect to an imaginary radial arrangement. The inner edge portion is adjoined by an outer edge portion, which relative to an imaginary rectilinear lengthening of the inner edge portion extends farther in the rotational direction. As a result of this embodiment, an improved outflow from the supply conduit through the outlet opening has been obtained.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for exhaust gas recirculation having an exhaust gas delivery conduit connected to an intake conduit, wherein the exhaust gas discharge conduit in the intake conduit is openable and closable via a closing element actuated by an adjusting drive. To that end, a substantially cylindrical exhaust gas delivery tube, as part of an exhaust gas delivery neck protrudes into the intake conduit approximately perpendicular to the fresh gas stream, which has an outlet opening in its cylindrical wall. Disposed above the outlet opening is a rotary slide bell, as the closing element, which at least regionally surrounds the exhaust gas delivery tube protruding into the intake conduit. The rotary slide bell is coupled to an electric pivoting motor acting as an adjusting drive. The apparatus is one in which only minimal forces caused by the flow of exhaust gas and fresh gas act upon the closing element and its adjusting drive.
Abstract: The pressure-regulating valve is provided with a cap which is formed by a tubular lower part made of plastic and a cup-shaped upper part made of plastic. The lower part and the upper part partially overlap, as a result of which it is possible to modify the force of the compression spring, which acts on the upper part, by displacing the upper part Once the spring force has been set, the lower part and the upper part are fixed relative to one another. The pressure-regulating valve is particularly suitable for use in fuel supply systems.
Abstract: A pressure relief valve for a packaging container has a flexible valve member that is fastened with parallel edge zones thereby covering a hole in the package wall. In order to protect the packaging container equipped with the pressure relief valve against theft, an alarm triggering device is integrated into the pressure relief valve. The alarm triggering device has the shape of a strip that is glued to the valve membrane on one of its fastening edge zones.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump, in which there is provided in a distributor of the fuel injection pump, a longitudinal bore which connects a pump working space to a control point on the distributor and which is fashioned in the distributor from one end face of the distributor. For sealingly closing this longitudinal bore, there is provided a pin which is inserted into a transverse bore intersecting the longitudinal bore and which thus has a sealing fit influenced by the pressure in the longitudinal bore.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines which has a moving part supported in a housing bore and on its jacket face on one side, has an exit opening that is under high pressure, and whose bearing is improved by virtue of the fact that on the jacket face of the part or in the wall of the housing bore, at least one pressure compensation is provided. The compensation face is connected to a high pressure source, is disposed on a side of the jacket face of the part which side is remote from the exit opening, and is continuously covered by the wall of the housing bore. As a result, a compensation of the pressure action by means of the pressure field prevailing in the region of the exit opening occurs so that an improved, less damage-prone bearing is produced with a greater high pressure tightness of the moving part.

Abstract: A fuel injection pump includes an injection onset adjustment piston in a cylinder bore that adjusts injection. The onset adjustment piston is embodied as a following piston which includes therein a control slide valve. The onset adjustment piston encloses a work chamber on one end, and is acted upon by the pressure in the work chamber counter to the force of a restoring spring. The onset adjustment piston is connected to an essentially stationary part of a cam drive of the fuel injection pump. In order to prevent feedback from the work chamber via the control slide valve and its adjustment, the control slide valve is effectively damped by means of a separate pin on an end of the control slide valve which extends into a blind bore of the onset adjustment piston.
