Abstract: A label applicator for applying labels to cup-shaped packaging containers including a label storing device means in the form of label rolls, from which labels are removed with the aid of a removal device and labels are applied by a transfer device to the packaging containers. The labels are applied by a contact pressure device to the jacket faces of the packaging containers. Because the application of the labels to packaging containers takes place after the forming of the containers, the design of the label application device is simplified, and accessibility to the containers is improved.

Abstract: A fuel supply systems with two series-connected pumps and with fuel injection valves that inject fuel directly into a combustion chamber of an engine in which a starting process takes less time because of the small feed quantity of the second fuel pump. The system includes a valve device which assures that during the starting process the first fuel pump furnishes the fuel to the fuel valves at elevated feed pressure. In many cases, this elevated feed pressure suffices to start the engine in the quickest possible time. The apparatus and the method are intended for an internal combustion engine of a vehicle.

Abstract: A high pressure pump for a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine, having a housing, which has an inflow region and a delivery region, having at least one piston, and having a drive element which act upon the piston. The piston is movably disposed in a piston guide of a pump cylinder element and establishes a work chamber in the piston guide which is operatively provided between the inflow region and the delivery region, which chamber, depending upon the movement direction of the piston, can alternatingly communicate with the inflow region and the delivery region. In order to reduce the assembly and handling expenditure for the assembly and to thus cut corresponding assembly costs, it is provided that the pump cylinder element together with a valve which is provided between the work chamber and the delivery region, is fixed in a retaining element which is fastened to the housing.
Abstract: A fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines, with a valve member which is guided axially displaceably in a bore of a valve body and which has, at its end on the combustion space side, a conical valve sealing face, the valve sealing face cooperates with a conical valve seat face at that end of the bore located on the combustion space side, a blind hole or a conical region adjoining said valve seat face on the combustion space side, with a pressure space opening onto the valve seat and located between the valve member shank and the wall of the bore, and with at least one injection duct leading off from an inner wall of the injection valve, said inner wall being located downstream of the valve seat. For forming the injection jet, the entry regions of the injection duct are rounded, an upper entry region which faces the pressure space having a large radius (RA) and a lower entry region which faces away from the pressure space having a smaller radius (RB). Thus, the size of the radius (RA) is 0.75 to 1.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump is proposed, with an annular slide (20) that is displaceable on the pump piston by a governor and that has a control edge by which a relief conduit of the pump work chamber can be opened in the course of the pump piston supply stroke; the relief conduit portion emerging from the jacket face of the pump piston is embodied as a radial bore (18), and the fuel stream emerging from it is deflected by a deflection face (34) on the annular slide or a deflection face (76) on the pump piston, in such a manner that the stream is deflected out of the radial plane, avoiding axially active pressure zones, so that varying axial loads resulting from the various diversion events on one another on the control slide are avoided, and thus fluctuations in injection quantity from one injection event to another and the strain on parts of the governor are reduced as well.
Abstract: A folding box for packing articles in which the folding box has a one-piece parallelepiped body. An insert for the articles and a compartment for a package leaflet is disposed in the body. The one-piece blank of the folding box is embodied such that the folding box can be produced with only a few folding operations. This is attained by a special disposition of an insert on a longitudinal gluing flap.
Abstract: A mower unit includes a blade housing, and a guide plate for dividing a grass clipping flow space formed in the blade housing, along a flowing direction into a first flow space and a second flow space communicating with each other in a downstream position with respect to the flowing direction. The blade housing has a discharge section for discharging grass clippings cut by cutting blades, in a predetermined direction along with air flows. The discharge section has an intake opening for drawing ambient air into the second flow space. The guide plate may be displaceable relative to the blade housing to vary a sectional passage area of the first flow space.
Abstract: A device for measuring the mass of a flowing medium having a temperature-dependent sensor element, which is inserted flush in a recess of a sensor carrier and is retained therein by means of an adhesive. The sensor carrier is made by bending a thin metal strip and has two elements, a frame element and a retaining element, which together form a recess, into which the sensor element is inserted flush and glued by means of an adhesive to a plateau-like protuberance of a bottom face of the retaining element. The sensor carrier is intended for a device for measuring the mass of a flowing medium for measuring the flow rate or mass of the air aspirated by internal combustion engines.
Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetically actuated, controllable valve with first and second valve stages, of which the first stage is actuated by an armature and the second stage functions automatically. An opening cross-section of the first valve stage is small and an opening cross-section of the second valve stage is larger than said opening cross section of said first stage. The first valve stage when in a closed position keeps the second valve stage closed. When the first valve stage opens a spring element opens the second valve stage. The valve according to the invention has an advantage of an only slight actuating force, and the total actuating force is actuatable exclusively to the first valve stage, and the further advantage of a large opening cross-section and hence a low flow resistance.

Abstract: A device for measuring various fluid pressures, the device includes a sensor plate which has fastening holes, which are distributed in matrixlike fashion over the sensor plate. Measuring diaphragms, which form end walls of blind bores in the sensor plate, are located between the fastening holes. Through fluid conduits of a hydraulic block to which the sensor plate can be secured, the measuring diaphragms can be acted upon by pressure. The evaluation is done with four strain gauges applied to each measuring diaphragm, the strain gauges being interconnected to form a Wheatstone bridge. Because it is possible to mount the sensor plate in a way that optimizes strain, it is possible to measure various pressures with minimal measurement error using one sensor plate.

Abstract: When an internal combustion engine is hot, especially in hot starting or during hot idling, outgassing of fuel occurs upstream of the injection port disk and at the injection ports; as a result, because too little fuel is supplied, the running performance is undesirably impaired. The running performance of the engine is therefore intended to be improved by preventing the development of vapor bubbles. By the provision of a transfer element, in the form of a raised body shoulder formed on the valve seat body, that reduces the heat transfer between the valve seat body and the injection port disk, it is accomplished that the injection port disk cools down as a result of the extracted heat of evaporation of the injected fuel, and thus the danger of vapor bubble development at the injection ports or upstream is reduced. The fuel injection valve is especially suitable for fuel injection systems in mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring injection bores of fuel injection valves for internal combustion engines, in which the injection valve including the bores to be measured is fastened in a receiving device and the bore is measured with a measuring device. The ascertainment of the location and geometry of the bore to be measured is done by means of an optoelectronic measuring method such as a camera.
Abstract: A solenoid valve which includes a valve member that has a flat sealing face which is on a face end that cooperates with a valve seat formed on a seat element that is embodied as spherical. The valve seat encompasses the outflow of a pressure conduit in the seat element. Because of the spherical nature, when the solenoid valve is put into operation, the seat face can increase in size by means of deformation of the seat region immediately adjoining the outflow of the pressure conduit. The seat region leads to a high degree of seat precision, which compensates for manufacture tolerances, combined with a high degree of high pressure tightness of the valve.
Abstract: The invention relates to an axial piston pump with at least one pump element, which includes a piston disposed in a housing, with a drive shaft upon which a swash plate for driving the piston is disposed. The swash plate is non-rotatably fixed, but can pivot around a swash plate pivot axis which extends perpendicular to the longitudinal drive shaft axis (A), and with a device for adjusting a pivot angle between the drive shaft and the swash plate. In order to be able to adjust the oblique position of the swash plate in a simple manner, even during pump operation, it is provided that the device for adjusting the pivot angle of the swash plate has a displacing device disposed in a stationary manner on the housing.
