    Abstract: A bag forming, filling and sealing machine for producing bag packages with a base or block bottom comprising a forming tube whose lower part has two segments that accomplish a transition from a circular inlet cross section to a rectangular outlet cross section via a square intermediate cross section. As a result of the intermediate cross section, differences in length longitudinally along the jacket lines from the circular inlet cross section to the rectangular outlet cross section of the forming tube are virtually equalized. As a result, bulging and corrugation of the packaging material at the side faces of the bag packages is virtually precluded.

    Abstract: A fuel-injection pump of the distributor type has a distributor shaft which is coupled fixedly in terms of rotation to a drive shaft and which, during rotation, successively supplies an injection nozzle with fuel from a pump working space. Seated displaceably in each case in one of a plurality of radial bores in the distributor shaft are pump pistons which, on the one hand, limit the pump working space and, on the other hand, bear non-positively on a coaxial cam ring via rollers held in roller shoes. For a construction of the injection pump which is advantageous in manufacturing terms, the drive shaft engages over the distributor shaft by means of a cup-like coupling head, and a number corresponding to the number of radial bores, of axial slots for the displaceable reception of the roller shoes are made in the cup wall.

The hydraulic portion (13) is provided with a securing flange (30), which is inserted into a step (46) of the receiving bore (15) and is positionally secured by a caulking (48) formed from the metal of the valve block (11). A valve dome (16) protruding beyond the boundary plane (17) of the valve block (11) carries the electric portion (14) of the valve (10). The savings in weight is attained by using light metal, such as an aluminum alloy or the like, for the valve block (11). The hydraulic unit is intended for traction-controlled brake systems of motor vehicles.

    Abstract: A bar device which can be installed in a window opening to which a sheet of covering material can be secured to protect the window from flying debris resulting from a storm such as a hurricane, tornado, etc. The bar device includes a turnbuckle which is threaded on its opposite ends. Threaded rods are threaded into the turnbuckle. A threaded bolt is secured in some manner to each of the threaded rods to extend perpendicular thereto. A supporting pad is secured at the ends of the threaded rods and the supporting pads are forced against a wall elements defining a window opening in order to secure the bar device in the window opening and a protective cushion is provided on the supporting pads to prevent marring the window opening. Once the bar device is secured in the window opening, the covering sheet such as plywood is secured in place by passing the threaded bolts through suitable holes in the covering sheet and then securing the covering sheet in place by a washer and nut applied onto the threaded bolts.

    Abstract: An engine injection system for a combined injection of fuel and an auxiliary fluid into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. A fuel injection pump is used for pumping both fuel and the auxiliary fluid at high pressure. The pump communicates with an injection nozzle and, via a magnet valve assembly, with a fluid metering device, which in turn communicates via a metering line with the injection nozzle. Connecting the magnet valve assembly directly to the supply outlet of the fuel injection pump upstream of an equal-pressure valve, and providing a pressure generator in the metering device, given a suitable triggering of the magnet valve assembly, the remaining supply stroke of the pump piston of the fuel injection pump after the end of the fuel injection by the injection nozzle is utilized to generate the requisite metering pressure in the metering device to enable the auxiliary fluid that is to be metered to be stored in the injection nozzle.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic valve having a magnet armature which can be moved longitudinally in a valve dome and the valve tappet of which carries a closing member of a first seat valve, which valve is open in the rest position. The first seat valve is situated in a valve chamber, from which first and second pressure-medium passages lead to first and second chambers arranged axially at both ends of the magnet armature. The connection between the first control chamber, which is remote from the closing member, and the second chamber, which is close to the closing member, is controlled by the magnet armature by a second seat valve, which is open in the rest position. When the second seat valve assumes its closed position, the pressure in the first control chamber, which is remote from the closing member, brings about a displacement of the magnet armature counter to the force of a return spring, resulting in a reduction in the cross section of flow of the first seat valve.
