    Abstract: An exhaust gas recirculation valve which comprises a stub pipe which protrudes into a pipe and with whose opening a valve element interacts, which valve element is moved by an actuator, the actuator being connected to the stub pipe by means of a connecting part in such a way that the above mentioned parts can be jointly inserted through a first opening into the pipe, a closing part of the stub pipe closing a second opening of the pipe, at which location an outwardly protruding end of the stub pipe is connected to an exhaust gas recirculation conduit. The connecting part advantageously also serves to relay measurements of a measurement recording device, recorded at the stub pipe to the analysis device of the measuring device.

    Abstract: A fuel regulating device which is fastened with a connecting fitting to a fuel housing. When the pressure regulating valve is installed on the fuel housing, the connecting fitting fits in a connecting piece provided on the fuel housing. The pressure regulating valve includes a valve housing and a connecting fitting which can be pivoted in relation to the valve housing. Because of the pivot bearing between the connecting fitting and the valve housing, considerable dimensional tolerances can be compensated for, which essentially reduces manufacture costs. The pressure regulating device is particularly suited for fuel delivery systems of vehicles with an internal combustion engine.

    Abstract: A prescription lens attachable to a safety glass frame. The safety glass frame is provided with a single lens, a center cross pin and indentation on an inner surface of the safety glass frame juxtaposed the temple pivot pin. A prescription frame includes separate prescription lenses and a central clip that clips onto the cross pin of the safety glass frame. The outer ends of the prescription frame are provided with angular locking ends that are pressed into the indentation on the safety glass frame. Thus, the prescription lens frame is held securely onto the safety glass frame between the safety glass frame and the persons eyes. Damage to the safety glass lens or frame necessitate replacement of only the non-prescription safety glasses because the prescription frame can be removed from the damaged frame and secured to a new safety glass frame.

    Abstract: The invention sets forth an arrangement for the aftertreatment of exhaust gases from a compression-ignition internal combustion engine, in which, to improve the operation of a reducing catalytic converter, a reducing agent is injected into the exhaust gas fed to the catalytic converter. Injection is performed by virtue of an electrically controlled metering valve which is combined in a common housing with a control valve. This control valve serves for the controlled introduction of compressed air supplied, in which a quantity of reducing agent made ready by the metering valve is prepared and introduced intermittently into the exhaust gas. This serves, in particular, to avoid urea deposition and clogging in the metering valve and the control valve and for the optimum preparation of the reducing agent introduced.

    Abstract: This invention achieves a setting of a reduced flow area which is active after a closed position of the valve. The solenoid valve has a seat valve with a closing element which is surrounded with a clearance by a hollow cylindrical shoulder. Formed in a valve body provided with the valve seat of the seat valve is an annular channel into which the shoulder engages with a slight radial gap in the closed position of the valve. On the outlet side of the seat valve, the pressure fluid channel leads to the two end faces of a magnet armature which actuates the seat valve. Given a pressure gradient between the pressure fluid inlet and the pressure fluid outlet, after a closed position of the solenoid valve the seat valve is capable of assuming a partly open position, since valve opening forces are compensated by pressure disequilibrium at the magnet armature. The valve can be used in slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems of motor vehicles.

    Abstract: A fuel feed assembly with a feed pump of the roller-cell pump type, of which the pump rotor rotates eccentrically in a pumping chamber has a plurality of rollers which are guided in radial grooves of the disk-shaped pump rotor and are distributed uniformly over the circumference. When the pump rotor is rotating, the rollers run, as a result of the centrifugal force, on a bore wall of an intermediate ring radially delimiting the pumping chamber. The bore wall forms a running track. At the same time, the rollers delimit individual sickle-shaped pump rotor and the bore wall and the volume decreases from a suction port towards a delivery port as a result of the eccentricity of the pump rotor. At the same time, there is provided between the delivery port and suction port in the direction of rotation of the pump rotor a narrow-gap region which, according to the invention, is made so large that the pump working spaces passing through this region are closed completely.

    Abstract: A distributor-type fuel injection pump of the radial-plunger type with two intersecting cylinder bores in the rotor part, in each of which two pump plungers arranged opposite one another and delimiting a common pump working space are guided. The pump plungers guided in the first cylinder bore are here designed with an axial length such that, during their delivery stroke, they project into the second cylinder bore, the pump plungers of which do not reach the first cylinder bore even in the case of the maximum delivery stroke. According to the invention, the short pump plungers have a stop formed by a collar on their end projecting out of the cylinder bore, and this stop prevents the short pump plungers from slipping unintentionally in between the long pump plungers when the pump is switched off, thus allowing the delivery stroke of the pump plungers to be increased to an extent such that, during their suction stroke, the long pump plungers leave the cylinder bore guiding the short pump plungers.

    Abstract: This invention is directed to a closing member of an inlet valve of a pressure-medium-traversed piston of a reciprocating piston pump. The closing member is disposed as fully as possible in the piston to minimize the dead air space. The piston has a longitudinal bore in which a stem engages the closing member, which stem emanates from a valve disk. The stem is embraced by an at least approximately frustoconical helical compression spring acting as a closing spring. This is held, with an end segment of smaller diameter, non-twistably against the stem. A shoulder of the longitudinal bore is located on the valve seat side and exhibits at least one cross-sectional alteration for the screw-like action upon the end segment of larger diameter of the closing spring. The closing spring is thus able to be sunk into the longitudinal bore and biased in place. The reciprocating piston pump can be used, for example, for slip-regulated braking systems of motor vehicles.
