    Abstract: The ultrasonic atomizer system serves to atomize fuel to be injected into internal combustion engines, thereby forming droplets of identical diameters (d.sub.T). The ultrasonic atomizer system includes an atomizer housing having a pressure chamber into which fuel is delivered under pressure by a pump. An ultrasonic vibrator protudes into the atomizer housing. Transport lines that transmit the vibrations lead from the pressure chamber to nozzles on the air intake tubes of the engine. A plurality of injection ports are provided in each of the nozzles and the streams of liquid emerging from the injection ports of each nozzle are made to undergo a monodisperse disintegration by the vibrations of the ultrasonic vibrator to form droplets of equal diameter (d.sub.T).

    Abstract: In a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine having fuel injection, in particular a turbo-engine, having air intake and exhaust gas conduits, a turbocharger and a regulating valve for furnishing combustion air to the exhaust gas conduit when the throttle valve in the air intake conduit is closed partially or entirely, in order to maintain the charge pressure of the turbocharger during overrunning or at partial load with good efficiency of the system. When the regulating valve opens, a portion of the cylinders is not ignited and the remaining portion of the cylinders is ignited at an extremely late instant of ignition, with suitable metering of the fuel injection quantity.

A suspension concept of this kind, with slow, continuous adaptive adaptation and rapid switchover to greater stiffnesses is augmented by an asymmetrically variable damping and a preferably fast-operating level control means.

    Abstract: A pressure regulating apparatus which serves to regulate fuel pressure in a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines. The pressure regulating apparatus includes a pressure regulating valve, which has a valve diaphragm fastened in a valve housing and defining a fuel chamber, which communicates via an inlet conduit with a fuel distributor line. Protruding into the fuel chamber is a valve seat carrier body having a valve seat body, on which a valve seat is embodied, from which an outlet conduit leads to an outlet fitting. The pressure regulating valve is inserted into a holder bushing communicating with the fuel distributor line and is sealed off therefrom by a sealing ring disposed on the regulating valve. The axial fixation of the pressure regulating valve in the holder bushing is effected via a screw connection with a retaining body.

In order to reduce the influence of pulsations on the measurement product of the intake tube pressure sensor, a throttle valve is provided which in the presence of the operational engine states of upper partial load and full load reduces the cross section of the connecting line.

Thsi second booster piston is joined to a pump piston which is likewise annular and sealingly surrounds the rod-like master cylinder piston. When the pressure supply apparatus is in operation, actuation of the brake pedal simultaneously displaces both booster pistons and generates braking pressures in the brake circuits (I, II).

Between the control slide and the pressure piece there is a force transmitting member having two plane parallel end faces. A centering means surrounding the force transmitting member and embodied like a rubber-elastic bushing centers the force transmitting member relative to the longitudinal axis of the control slide and orients the end faces transversely to said longitudinal axis. The control slide, the force transmitting member and the pressure piece form roller pairs, which during the actuation of the brake pressure control valve enable relative movements between the pressure piece and the control slide without generating notable radial force components.

For guiding the chains of the conveyor device and for guiding the foldable boxes in the arc-like stretch, arc-like curved guide rails are disposed on the revolving path of the suction grippers following the magazine.     Abstract: A centrifugal adjuster for a fuel injection pump governor having a driving part driven at an rpm in synchronism with the engine and having a torsionally elastically coupled flyweight holder guided in a rotational guide. Via a step, beyond a predetermined rotational deflection, the centrifugal adjuster displaces the flyweight holder axially with respect to the driving part, so that a jolt-like stroke effected by means of the step is superimposed on the regulating stroke effected via the flyweights of the centrifugal adjuster whenever the rpm is at a low level, for instance at idling rpm. As a result, a friction that leads to see-sawing of the engine and exhibits pronounced hysteresis is shaken out of the governor.

The two throttles have the effect that if the pressure valve is closed, the adaptation device is subjected to a differential pressure which is approximately equal to that when the pressure valve is opened, and so the full-load courses attained in normal operation and in cold operation are virtually identical.

    Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines is described, which for controlling fuel quantity is provided with control unit that controls an electric final control element, which in turn actuates the regulating member that determines the fuel injection quantity per pump piston supply stroke. The supply of fuel to the pump work chamber is effected from a fuel supply chamber, which is kept at a controlled pressure by a fuel feed pump. To limit the maximum speed of the engine supplied by the fuel injection pump in the event of failure of the control unit, a valve is provided in the intake line of the fuel feed pump. Using this valve, the flow cross section of the intake line can be varied or closed. By means of the modification of the fuel pressure in the fuel supply chamber effected thereby, a control of the fuel injection quantity that is not dependent on the position of the quantity-determining member is attained.
