    Abstract: An electromagnetically actuatable valve is proposed, in particular a fuel injection valve for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines, which by using a resilient element between a valve housing and a collar of a spacer ring exerts a long-lasting pressure upon a guide diaphragm that radially guides a valve element. In this manner, an exact fixation of the valve element on a valve seat when the valve is closed is assured even if long-term strain on the injection valve results in a slight loosening between a nozzle holder that includes the valve seat and the valve housing.

    Abstract: A portable environmental clean air frame facility including a power unit section and a clean air section. The frame is formed by P.V.C. pipes and fittings so that clear plastic sheeting material may be formed and draped over the clean air section to form a clean air enclosure. The power unit section includes a blower motor having a prefilter unit on each end. One end draws air from the surrounding medium and one is connected to the clean air enclosure. The prefiltered air is directed through a HEPA filter, through an air delivery duct and into the enclosure. A bypass damper is provided for controlling the air flow velocity and for producing either a positive or negative pressue in the enclosure.

    Abstract: An apparatus for burning solid particles, in particular soot particles, in the exhaust gas of internal combustion engines having a combustion chamber and an ignition burner connected coaxially through an overflow opening. The combustion chamber includes an annular cup portion forming a hot combustion chamber that is open toward the overflow opening, and downstream of this hot combustion chamber has a plurality of labyrinthine annular conduits toward which a plunger tube extends centrally toward the combustion chamber, through which tube a flow of exhaust gas carrying the soot particles is directed into the hot combustion chamber. The flow of exhaust gas having the soot particles emerges into the hot combustion chamber through radial outlets transversely to the direction of extension of the ignition flame that is propagating through the overflow opening. The soot particles that are supplied are for the most part burned in the hot combustion chamber, and the remainder is burned in the labyrinthine conduits.

    Abstract: An injection valve for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines which comprises a movable valve element cooperating with a valve seat disposed in a nozzle body, with a guide bore provided downstream of the valve seat. A swirl insert is partially compressed in the guide bore and disposes open swirl channels in the direction of its circumference. The swirl channels extend in an axial direction from one end of the swirl insert to the other, are slanted toward the longitudinal shaft of the injection valve and discharge in a tangential direction into a preparation bore. The swirl channels serve simultaneously as metering channels whose throttling length is adjustable by displacing the swirl insert inside the guide bore.

    Abstract: A damper element is proposed which serves to damp a pulsating fluid flow, in particular to smooth out and reduce pressure fluctuations arising in fuel supply systems for internal combustion engines in motor vehicles. The damper element includes a base and a cap, which are welded to one another and a damper diaphragm is clamped between these elements. The damper diaphragm, in order to prevent diffusion of the fluid into a damper chamber of the cap, is embodied either as a polyimide diaphragm or as a combination of a fabric diaphragm and a polyimide diaphragm. The clamping area of the cap is embodied as inclined slightly toward the damper diaphragm by an angle .alpha., so that a long-term fastening and sealing of the damper diaphragm is assured.

    Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines has a pump piston which via a pressure plate rests with a piston bottom on an axially driven tappet with slight play. This contact is brought about by a pressure spring, which is supported on a spring plate so as to grip the piston bottom from behind. To prevent the pressure plate from falling out if the pump piston should become stuck, the spring plate is cup-shaped and includes a cylindrical cup portion having two projecting protrusions. The pressure plate has a radial flange adapted to rest on the projecting protrusions. Those protrusions and the radial flange are adapted to one another such that the pressure plate can be introduced in a predetermined position through the protrusions. The piston bottom located between the pressure plate and the plate bottom of the spring plate prevents the pressure plate from being able to assume a position, after assembly, in which it could slip and escape back outwardly through those protrusions.

The second end stop defines the position assumed by the thrust rod with maximal pressure being exerted on the diaphragm, and to this end cooperates with a counterpart stop that is adjustably coupled with the thrust rod.

    Abstract: An apparatus for producing liquid-filled bag packages including a tube former for shaping a tube from a strip of packaging material. To introduce amounts of liquid into the end of the tube, a filling tube extends into the tube former with its outlet end having a metering valve. To supply the liquid to the filling tube, the filling tube has, on its end located at the height of the inlet opening of the tube former, a crosswise extending supply fitting, the end face of which is closed with a flexible diaphragm. To actuate the valve, a rod extending in the filling tube is pivotably connected at the height of the supply fitting with a lever, which is pivotably connected to an adjusting cylinder. For pivoting of the lever, the lever has two crosswise arms, which are pivotably connected to connecting rods, the longitudinal axes of which intersect one another in the center of the diaphragm.

    Abstract: A throttle valve adjuster with which a quantity of air supplied to an internal combustion engine during idling, for instance, can be adjusted. The adjuster comprises a stator which is supported within a throttle valve pipe and which is rotated by actuation of a driving pedal. Supported inside the stator is an armature, which is firmly connected to the throttle valve. Located on the stator is a coil winding, which initiates a magnetic flux that acts upon the armature via two oppositely disposed guide shoulders which forms between the armature air gaps and the guide shoulders. The armature rotates relative to the stator counter to the force of a spring. The entire rotational movement of the throttle valve is thus a combination of the relative movement between the stator and the throttle valve pipe and the relative movement between the armature and the stator.

In a feed conduit of the shaping mandrel, these flaps define downwardly moved chambers which receive portions of the product and transport them to the lower end of the shaping mandrel, and then, through a relatively narrow return conduit in the shaping mandrel, the flaps return upward again in an upright position by the belts.
