Abstract: A hardtop for a boat including a windshield with an movable portion and a roof with a movable cover. The windshield includes an opening when the movable portion is in an open position and the roof includes a opening extending rearward from a front edge when the cover is in an open position. The opening in the windshield and the roof are generally aligned to define a pass-through. The forward edge of the opening portion of the roof is displaced rearward from the front edge of the roof when open and may be generally aligned with the front edge of the roof when closed. A boat including a hardtop with an opening windshield and roof.

Abstract: A disposable or limited use sleeping bag kit including a sleeping bag made of a multi-layered material, an inflatable pillow and storage pouch from which air may be evacuated. The layered material of the sleeping bag may be made of an inner layer for contacting a user, an outer layer providing water and abrasion resistance, and a middle insulating layer between the inner and outer layers.
Abstract: A method of coordinating surveys of different origins and which may be projected into different coordinate systems. The method provides a translation and rotation of the surveys to be coordinated without disturbing the internal geometry of each survey. A geographic information system including a procedure for coordinating surveys of different origins and/or which surveys which projected in different coordinate systems.
Abstract: The advertising panel is to display an advertising message and to diffuse a scent which is associated with the contents of the visually-displayed message. The inventive panel includes a parallelepiped volume containing: an assembly which is used to display an advertising message that is disposed opposite a display window, and at least one scent diffuser which is connected to a scent-diffusing element which is in turn installed opposite an opening in the panel, such as to diffuse a scented flow to the exterior. The diffusing element is connected to the head of the scent diffuser, thereby ensuring that a carrier gas is mixed with the scented fluid contained in the receptacle. The scented flow obtained at the outlet of the head is pulsed towards the diffusing element and, subsequently, to the exterior of the panel.
Abstract: A lightweight and compact headlamp adjuster is constructed primarily from plastic materials. The adjuster may include a VHAD that is non-recalibratable after the headlamp aim is factory set. The adjuster includes an input shaft that engages a gear located within a housing. When the input shaft is rotated, a ball stud moves linearly to adjust the headlamp to which it is connected. The adjuster is not subject to over-adjustment when it includes a clutching mechanism provided by the interaction of the ball stud with the gear.
Abstract: A gripping device having a body with at least one moveable arm. The moveable arm may be selectably positionable and secured at a position by a locking pin. The gripping device may have a body selectably attached to a base having a release. Actuating the release allows the body to be removed from the base. A gripping surface on an arm may have an engagement surface and a plurality of air pockets positioned below the engagement surface.

Abstract: A milling machine comprising a housing including a frame, a front wheel assembly supporting the housing, at least a first rear wheel assembly and a second rear wheel assembly supporting the housing, a milling drum mounted within the housing and extending below the housing, and an electric motor for providing power to at least one hydraulic system for operating milling machine functions. The first rear wheel assembly is ideally switchable between a first position and a second position to allow the milling machine to reach corners and other tight spaces in a building. The milling machine preferably further includes a dust collection system mounted within the housing to provide dust-free operation. The electric motor is also ideally mounted within the housing to provide a compact, dust-free and emissions-free milling machine for indoor use.

Abstract: A thylakoid extract that is preferably stabilized and activable for treating inflammation is described. Different types of cell or tissue targets and inflammatory stimuli have been used to evaluate the performance of the extract, which, in all cases successfully modulate inflammation through a balance of pro/anti-inflammatory cytokines. Compositions comprising the extract and other anti-inflammatory agents, such as glucocorticoids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are further disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: A surface acoustic wave device that can operate in alternate-phase mode and single-phase mode, and thus generate surface acoustic waves at two different frequencies. The device is based on a piezoelectric film deposited on an elastic substrate, and includes an electrode layer patterned as two interdigital electrodes and electrical source (2). The device is operated in alternate-phase mode by connecting the two electrodes to different ends of an electrical source (22). The device is operated in single-phase mode by connecting the two electrodes to the same end of an electrical source.
