Abstract: The invention relates to an impulse sound traducer for the ultrasonic range. Transducers in prior art require complicated and expensive technology in order to really generate good impulses. The invention aims at providing a sound transducer for the ultrasonic range, which transmits strong and short impulses, has high senstivity and ensures repeatability of parameters. This is achieved by a sound transducer for the ultrasonic range that is used both as a transmitter and as a receiver and is comprised of an elementary block made of piezoelectric material, wherein the height of the elementary blocks consisting of piezoelectric material is bigger than its width and the block on the output end of the impulse has a formed edge so that the elementary block has a T-shape in the longitudinal section, wherein one electrode is provided on the outlet surface while the other electrode extends above the edge on the block.
Abstract: A convertible top has according to the invention a flexible textile cover formed of a generally horizontal top panel extending generally rearward from a front edge, a rear panel extending downward from and joined at a rear seam to the front panel, and a pair of generally vertical side panels unitarily formed with the rear panel, extending forward therefrom, and joined at respective side seams to the top panel. The side seams are generally horizontal. In addition the rear seam is generally horizontal and the side seams form end continuations of the rear seam.

Abstract: The aim of the invention is to coat running material webs (1). According to prior art, the coating material is applied to the material web (1) by means of curtain coaters. Said coating material is discharged from a slit nozzle (2) and passes through a free-falling curtain (3). The edges of the curtain (3) are separated by means of separating elements (9, 10) before the fall into the material web (1) for adjusting the coating width. According to the invention, a smaller curtain is produced on each edge by means of a first outer separating element (10). Said curtain is adjusted to the desired coating width by means of a second, inner separating element (9). In a preferred embodiment, an inner separating element (9) is used which contains a vertical channel in the interior thereof. Said channel is open on the separating edge.
