  • Patent number: 6544069
Abstract: A swivel-type electrical outlet primarily including an outlet assembly, casing and mounting assembly. The outlet assembly has an outlet ball approximately spherical in shape, with imbedded stranded cable pigtails. The swivel-type outlet may return to a neutral position after a user pulls an electrical cord from an angle not directly perpendicular to the receptacle, since the outlet ball may swivel perpendicularly to the direction of the electrical cord pull. The casing accommodates the outlet and has a smooth internal surface to allow easy movement of the outlet ball. An elastic diaphragm, secured behind the outlet ball to the mounting assembly, forces the outlet ball back to its neutral position after the electrical plug has been disconnected. The mounting assembly supports the casing and is secured to a typical junction box.

  • Patent number: 6534881
Abstract: A waterwheel apparatus designed to generate power. The waterwheel is set below the surface of a body of water. The waterwheel has air chambers that inflate and deflate. The air chambers within the wheel have air valves. Air is introduced into specific chambers when desired to cause a buoyancy effect and cause a particular area of the wheel to travel in the direction of the water surface. Introducing air at specific angular positions to the air chambers cause the wheel to rotate under water. The energy derived from this motion and connected to pulley and gear mechanisms supply power.

  • Patent number: 6524151
Abstract: A shaft seal system for watercrafts, where a seal from the system may be replaced while the watercraft is in water. The invention comprises two seals, one at each end of a cylindrical member having cooling and lubrication means. Water enters an entry port and circulates throughout camera channels within the cylindrical member and around a shaft which drives the watercraft propeller. The water then exits an exit port. The cylindrical member has a removable ring at one end, which keeps the first seal pressed in place. When the first seal deteriorates and needs to be replaced, the exit port water line is disconnected to determine if the second seal is in satisfactory condition. If the second seal is preventing water from entering the camera area, said ring is removed. A replacement seal already upon the shaft is slid in place, and said ring is re-secured. If the second seal is not in good condition but only a small amount of water enters, the replacement of the first seal may still take place.

  • Patent number: 6519892
Abstract: A fishing assembly comprising two elongated tunnel assemblies mounted to the sides of a watercraft and pivotally mounted at a point adjacent to the rear of the watercraft. A lifting mechanism is used to bring the forward end up and down selectively. When in the down position, the user is fishing for shrimp and scoops up the water in its path along with the shrimp forcing a rearward current that pushes the shrimp over a solid bottom backwards and upwardly. The lateral walls are made out of a mesh of predetermined cooperative dimensions to let the water go through while keeping the shrimp. A U-shape tunnel assembly in the back connects to the elongated tunnel assemblies and routes the shrimp towards the center of the watercraft to a cooperatively positioned aperture through which the shrimp is unloaded.

  • Patent number: 6513279
Abstract: A chum dispenser that houses chum for fishing applications. The instant invention is suspended by a rope and is submerged under water to a predetermined depth. It comprises a housing with first and second ends. The housing stores chum and has through holes to allow chum to seep out. The first end has a removable weighted end-cap and the second end has a flap assembly. The rope suspends the instant invention by the flap assembly. Flaps cover the second end of the housing when the instant invention is weighted down by the weighted end-cap. The flap assembly has springs attached to the housing that keep it partially open, exposing the second end of the housing and allowing the chum to exit therefrom when the rope is jerked by the user to overcome the weight of the weighted end-cap.
