  • Patent number: 6339892
Abstract: A safety locking mechanism for weapons that have a trigger and a protective trigger guard. The mechanism includes a housing defining an internal space and a lateral opening through which a slidable spring biased plate protrudes and is brought out in a parallel and space apart relationship with another plate that is rigidly mounted to the housing. A headed post and a separated and removable body member are mounted to the fixed plate and receive the trigger inbetween. The body member conforms to the space between the rear of the trigger and the guard thereby immobilizing it. A locking assembly inside the housing is selectively actuated to release a latch that holds slidable plate inside. The slidable plate and the rigid plate sandwich a trigger and trigger guard to prevent access thereto.

  • Patent number: 6321030
Abstract: A controller using rectified AC voltage to drive a DC motor. A first rectified produces a waveform that passes through zero voltage in synchronization with the A.C. supply voltage. The first rectified voltage is applied to the D.C. motor. A second rectified voltage produces a waveform that passes through zero voltage in synchronization with the A.C. supply voltage. A circuit generating a unipolar waveform output voltage drives a switch that turns on and off the connection of the first rectified voltage to the D.C. motor. The on time can vary from zero to one half of the period of the AC voltage for maximum speed. The switching is synchronized with the unipolar waveform. The time on is varied by varying the pulse width driving the switching device.

  • Patent number: 6296158
Abstract: A flexible disposable spout removably mounted to the inwardly extending flanges found in certain types of cans, particularly paint cans, to ensure that its contents are properly poured out and no contact is made with the can itself. The spout has a cylindrical or frustoconical shape with two ends. At least one of the ends has two parallel and peripherally extending ridge members that are kept at a predetermined spaced apart relationship with respect to each other to cooperatively engage with the inwardly extending flange defining the can opening. The other end may be designed to also accept the same type of inward flange for an opening of a different size typically associated with a can of a different capacity or the same capacity with different opening dimensions. Thus the spout's cylindrical portion has a frustoconical shape.
