Abstract: An integrated food service cart system has a pair of upper panels and a pair of lower shelves supported on the frame pivotable between horizontal service positions and vertical storage positions, wherein the upper panels have spaces for holding chafer pans therein and pivotable support members extending below the spaces for holding chafer heating elements therein. The support members pivot into the spaces when the panels and shelves are pivoted to the vertical positions, thus assuming a slim profile for storage.
Abstract: A toothbrush comprising a head having a flat surface facing upwardly, the head joined to a handle. The tufts of bristles are arranged in two groups of rows, each row extending transversely of the head. The rows of the first and second groups alternate with each other along the longitudinal axis of the head. In the first group, the two laterally outermost tufts of each row tilt sidewise towards their respective nearest side of the head, this tilt being about 12 degrees. The middle tuft of each of the second group extends substantially vertically upwardly from the head. The laterally outermost tufts of the second group tilt laterally inwardly toward each other by about 8 degrees. The tufts define three functional groups of tufts. The tuft arrangement is such that the cleaning action is substantially independent of any particular brushing technique employed by the user.

Abstract: A non-bleaching fine fabric detergent composition comprises a detersively effective amount of a mixture of anionic and nonionic surfactants, a detergent building effective amount of at least one builder salt, and a softening and whitening effective amount of a sugar ester containing at least one fatty acid chain. In a preferred embodiment, the composition is in the form of an aqueous liquid composition.
Abstract: A dispenser, particularly useful as a pump for viscous material such as toothpaste has, in one embodiment, a body, a spout at the top of the body, a tube disposed vertically within the body aligned to register with the spout, a piston surrounding the tube below the top and a spring exerting continuous downward force on the piston so that the material to be dispensed which is located under the piston is forced up through the tube and out the spout when the spout is open. The spout may be of the turret type. Another embodiment comprises the same basic design, but it adapted to receive a refill container of the material. This Abstract shall not be construed to limit the scope of the specification, drawings or claims.
Abstract: An oral composition such as a dentifrice, mouthwash, lozenge or chewing gum containing a polyphosphate anticalculus agent, such as tetraalkali metal pyrophosphate and antibacterial antiplaque agent compatible therewith. The antiplaque agent is a substantially water-insoluble noncationic antibacterial agent such as 2,4,4'-trichloro-2.sup.1 -hydroxydiphenyl ether (Triclosan).

Abstract: Dental cream in contact with a polyolefin resin surface of a package such as a laminate tube, a mechanical dispenser or a flexible sachet. The dental cream contains at least a major amount of dentally acceptable water-insoluble polishing material, alpha-alumina trihydrate, a liquid aqueous humectant vehicle wherein glycerine and sorbitol are humectants, a gelling agent and benzoic acid to reduce pH and prevent syneresis due to contact between the dental cream and the polyolefin resin.
Abstract: An acidic aqueous cleaner, preferably in microemulsion form, which is of a pH in the range of one to four and is useful for cleaning hard surfaced items, such as bathtubs, sinks, tiles and porcelains, and even some such items which are not acid resistant, such as those of a European enamel known as zirconium white enamel, comprises synthetic organic detergent, such as a mixture of anionic and nonionic detergents, e.g., sodium paraffin sulfonate, higher fatty alcohol ethoxylate sulfate and higher fatty alcohol or phenol ethoxylate, carboxylic acid, e.g., mixture of succinic, glutaric and adipic acids, and phosphonic acid, e.g., aminotris(methylenephosphonic acid)in an aqueous medium. Preferably a phophoric acid is present to further improve protection of such European enamel surfaces.

Abstract: An oral composition such as a dentifrice or mouthwash, containing an aqueous phase of water and as solubilizing agent propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, methyl cellosolve, ethyl cellosolve, olive oil, castor oil, amyl acetate, ethyl acetate, glyceryl tristrearate or benzyl benzoate mixed with at least one glycerine and sorbitol, a substantially water-insoluble noncationic antibacterial antiplaque agent, such as 2,4,4'-trichloro-2.sup.1 -hydroxydiphenyl ether (triclosan), and a synthetic anionic linear polymeric polycarboxylate having a molecular weight of about 1,000 to about 1,000,000.
Abstract: An oral composition such as a dentifrice, mouthwash, lozenge or chewing gum containing a polyphosphate anticalculus agent, such as tetraalkali metal pyrophosphate and antibacterial antiplaque agent compatible therewith. The antiplaque agent is a substantially water-insoluble noncationic antibacterial agent such as 2,4,4'-tricholoro-2.sup.1 -hydroxydiphenyl ether (Triclosan).

Abstract: A polarizable material that includes a nonisotropic solution useful for making electrical devices. In one embodiment, the polarizable material is comprised of commerically available solid bar soap, neat soap or a polymorphic solid solution and employed as the dielectric in a capacitor or an electrolyte in a supercapacitor. In another embodiment the nonisotropic solution is employed as an electrolyte in an electrochemical battery.
Abstract: Liquid detergent compositions having improved softening and detergency properties comprising an alkyl glycoside, as the sole softening agent, a nonionic surfactant and an anionic surfactant as the three essential ingredients; and a method of simultaneously cleaning and softening without reducing brightener and detergency performance, which comprises treating fabrics with said composition in the wash cycle of the laundering operation.
Abstract: A liquid detergent composition which is in liquid crystal form comprises a synthetic organic surface active agent, as the detergent component, which preferably includes one or more nonionic detergents of the ethoxylated higher fatty alcohol type, and a lesser proportion of anionic or cationic surfactant, such as sodium dialkyl sulfosuccinate or dicoco dimethyl ammonium chloride, a cosurfactant, such as tripropylene glycol butyl ether, a solvent for the soil, such as an isoparaffin of 9 to 11 carbon atoms or methyl cocoate (ester of methyl alcohol and coco acids) and water, with the water usually being the major component. Such compositions are useful for cold or room temperature cleaning of lipophilic soils, such as animal fats, from hard surfaces and from fabrics, and may be used as pre-treatments to loosen such soils from substrates to facilitate easier cleaning of dishes and laundry with conventional or the invented detergent compositions.
