    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for calibrating a grinding machine for sharpening bar blades by grinding at least two flanks and a top surface (K) of the bar blades, involving the following steps: producing a calibrating blade by sharpening a bar blade according to predetermined dimensions; measuring the dimensions of the calibrating blade, and; calibrating the machine with the aid of at least the measurement result. In order to produce a calibrating blade, the bar blade is, in at least two steps, ground on the flanks and on the top surface (K) in a complete calibrating grinding. The inventive method is advantageous in that the calibrating blade is ground under the same conditions as a production blade so that process-related influences, in particular, displacements associated with the grinding forces, can also be taken into consideration.

    Abstract: A shaving aid delivery system for a shaving system includes a razor head having a resilient reservoir for holding a shaving aid and a piezoelectric ceramic disposed adjacent the resilient reservoir. The delivery system also includes a shaving strip disposed within the razor head, an actuator and an ejection port. The shaving strip is oriented to engage the skin of a user during a shaving stroke and the actuator electrically couples to the piezoelectric ceramic such that, upon activation, the actuator causes deformation of the piezoelectric ceramic which, in turn, deforms the resilient reservoir and forces the shaving aid from the reservoir through the ejection port. Alternatively, the actuator may include a shape memory alloy which, upon transformation between states, deforms the reservoir and forces the shaving aid from the reservoir through the ejection port.

During operation of the combustion engine a parameter, e.g. a measurement of the load on the combustion engine is sensed, the magnitude of said parameter being related to the amount of crankcase gas generated per unit of time in the crankcase. Depending upon a sensed change of the sensed parameter the rotational speed of the rotor of the centrifugal separator is changed in a way such that the gas pressure in the crankcase is maintained at a predetermined value, or within a predetermined pressure interval, during the operation of the combustion engine.
