  • Patent number: 7161348
Abstract: An inductive sensor unit for detecting the position of a vehicle seat or for a gate-shifting unit of an automatic transmission, is described. The inductive sensor unit has a plurality of sensor coils that are disposed in planar fashion on a printed circuit board. A conductive actuation element which is guided, spaced apart, on a path over the sensor coils, and an electrical evaluation circuit detects changes in inductance of the sensor coils in accordance with a path position of the actuation element and converts the changes into electrical signals, corresponding to seat position signals or gear shifting signals. The conductive actuation element is guided, spaced apart on both sides, over the sensor coils, and in one aspect of the invention, the electrical evaluation circuit detects the inductances of all the sensor coils (L1, . . . , Li) and converts them by means of an algorithm into a current path position of the actuation element.

  • Patent number: 7158315
Abstract: Object is to provide an inner-focusing type zoom lens system carrying out focusing by moving a portion of a first lens group suitable for an auto-focus SLR camera. A zoom lens system includes, in order from an object, a first lens group having positive refractive power, a second lens group having negative refractive power, and a third lens group having positive refractive power. Upon zooming from a wide-angle end state to a telephoto end state, a distance between the first and the second lens groups increases, and a distance between the second and the third lens groups decreases. The first lens group is composed of, in order from the object, a 1A lens group G1A having positive refractive power, and a 1B lens group G1B having positive refractive power. Focusing from infinity to a close-range object is carried out by moving only the 1B lens group G1B to the object.

  • Patent number: 7154788
Abstract: There is achieved a high-integrated and high-speed nonvolatile memory which can stabilize an operation of a phase-change memory for a short operation cycle time. A latch is provided in a write driver. A change to a high-resistance state of a phase-change element is performed per column cycle by a write-enable signal, and a change to a low-resistance state thereof is performed after a pre-charge command is inputted and concurrently with deactivation of a pre-charge signal. Thereby, a write time to a memory cell in which phase-change resistance is changed to a low-resistance state, and a period from a write operation for changing the phase-change resistance to a high-resistance state to a read operation to the above memory cell can be lengthened without extending the column cycle time, so that the stable write operation is achieved.

  • Patent number: 7147726
Abstract: The present invention concerns a mechanical method for generating nanostructures in order to obtain on a surface of a metal piece a nanostructured layer of defined thickness. A quantity of perfectly spherical balls (22) are disposed in a chamber that is closed for the size of the balls. At least one of the walls of the chamber supports or constitutes the piece to be treated (10). A vibrating motion is imparted to the chamber in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the circular motion of the chamber supporting or constituting the piece to be treated. The speed of the circular motion and the frequency and amplitude of the vibrating motion is determined based on the physical properties of the balls so as to communicate to the latter sufficient kinetic energy to create nanostructures on the material of the piece treated by impaction of the balloon surface of the piece.
