  • Patent number: 6784752
Abstract: A phase locked loop that includes a receiver that is adjustable to substantially match delay of a system clock and a feedback clock at an input of the phase locked loop is provided. The receiver employs system clock path circuitry to input the system clock and feedback clock path circuitry to input the feedback clock, where current flow and load resistances associated with the system clock path circuitry and current flow and load resistances associated with the feedback clock path circuitry are responsive to one or more bias signals that are adjustable using one or more adjustment circuits that are operatively connected to the receiver. The control of the one or more bias signals via the one or more adjustment circuits facilitates the generation of substantially delay matched system and feedback clocks.

  • Patent number: 6781355
Abstract: An apparatus for compensating for the effects of resonance in an integrated circuit's power distribution network is provided. A resonance detector monitors transmissions from the integrated circuit for certain bit patterns that may excite the power distribution network at a specific frequency and cause power supply resonance. Power supply resonance causes an increase in power supply impedance. When offending transmissions are detected, the resonance detector activates a damping element on the integrated circuit which dampens the resonance. The damping element is a resistive device between two power supply lines that decreases power supply impedance when activated.

  • Patent number: 6773280
Abstract: In a card connector of the present invention, an eject plate has a push-moving portion, an engaging portion and a spring portion, and can be switched to two positions by a heart cam. In an electric connecting state of the card and the connector, the eject plate is set to a second position, and its engaging portion is engaged with a notch formed in the card, and the release of the engagement is prevented by a guide wall, and no card can be pulled out even when strong pulling-out force is applied to the card (full lock). When the eject plate is moved from the second position to a first position by a tension spring, the card is pushed out by the push-moving portion. The engaging portion is also engaged with the notch of the card in this first position, but the release of the engagement is allowed by the wall portion, and the card can be pulled out by elastically deforming the spring portion (half lock).
