Abstract: A disk apparatus of zone-recording type having a plurality of recording zones is structured such that a plurality of reference clock signals, each corresponding to a recording zone, are generated in both a recording mode and a reproducing mode. A reference frequency signal means, for generating an oscillating signal of a reference frequency, is combined with a variable frequency forming phase locked circuit. A first switch selectively causes the phase locked circuit to perform the phase locking in response to the reference frequency signal generated from the reference signal means or the reproducing signal. A demultiplying means switches a demultiplying ratio according to the mode.

The cooling fins are stacked in prescribed numbers to make a cooling fin block. The breakable line section includes a perforated line and is broken when one part of the cooling fin block in the elongated direction is bent against the other part of the block along the breakable line section.

Abstract: A video disc player comprises a gray level picture display device for displaying a gray level picture during a track jump and a phase difference detecting circuit for detecting a phase difference between a phase of a horizontal synchronizing signal involved in a reproduced video signal and a horizontal phase for a gray level display during a so-called scan reproduction mode. The horizontal synchronizing signal of the gray picture is corrected so that the above-described phase difference will fall within a tolerance range. Therefore, a satisfactory reproduced video signal without horizontal synchronization disturbance can be obtained.

Abstract: A magnetic core employed in AC motors, transformers and the like includes a first core portion formed by laminating silicon steel sheets each containing 3.5% silicon, the first core portion having two ends in the direction that the sheets are laminated, and second core portions disposed at the respective ends of the first core portion and formed by laminating silicon steel sheets each containing 6.5% silicon. In distorted wave alternating field, low frequency fluxes pass through the first core portion and harmonic fluxes pass through the second core portions. Since each second core portion has a low level of magnetostriction, the magnetic noise due to the harmonics is reduced.

Abstract: A digital signal transmission method in which a digital signal having a header block of a predetermined length is transmitted. The header is comprised of a synchronization signal and auxiliary data. The auxiliary data is made up of first data or second data and a redundant error detection code. The redundant code indicates whether the block contains the first data as the auxiliary data or the second data as the auxiliary data so that different headers having different contents can be distinguished by the reproduction apparatus.

Abstract: A laser scanning apparatus having horizontal and vertical deflection means for deflecting n laser beams of the same wavelength modulated by n kinds of pattern information signal components in the horizontal and vertical directions. The n laser beams are spatially separated so that the pattern informations are directly drawn on a plurality of drawn media. Also, the pattern informations can be drawn with high coupling ratio (high light utilizing ratio and proper brightness) and high resolution.

Abstract: A copying machine according to this invention is provided with a key counter and an all-clear function associated therewith. The machine is allowed to perform copying operation only when it is loaded with the key counter. When the key counter is removed, all copying conditions entered in the copying machine by a user are restored to the state before the start of the copying operation. Thus, production of undesired copies attributable to the user-set copying conditions used last can be prevented, so that the cost of copying can be reduced.
