Abstract: An electronic device having a sliding cap mainly includes a body, a sliding cap and an elastic element. The body has a transmission end that has a terminal section to couple with external electronic equipment, and a moving area on the outer surface. The sliding cap has an internal chamber to partly cover the transmission end of the body. The sliding cap is movable relative to the body by the guidance of the moving area to a protection position to cover the terminal section, and to a use position to expose the terminal section outside the sliding cap. The elastic element is held in the internal chamber to keep the sliding cap on the protection position in normal conditions.
Abstract: A disposable prophy angle for an electric tooth polisher, having a handle and a polishing head, has a body and a transmission assembly. The body is mounted to the handle and has a cavity and a bent distal segment. The transmission assembly is mounted in the cavity and has a rotatable driving shaft, a rotatable head mount and multiple linkage shafts. The driving shaft has multiple mounting holes. The head mount is connected to the polishing head and has multiple mounting holes. Each linkage shaft has two segments rotatably and slidably extending into a corresponding mounting hole in the driving shaft and a corresponding hole in the head mount, respectively. The linkage shafts are simple and small so the corresponding bent distal segment of the body holding the linkage shafts is also small. Therefore, the disposable prophy angle can be easily inserted into and moved around in a person's mouth.

Abstract: The invention provides a test scheme of analog-to-digital converters and method thereof. It comprises: a control circuit, a step-ramp signal generator, a multiplexer, an n+m-bit counter, and a test analyzing circuit, wherein m=1, 2, 3 . . . , based on desired accuracy of the test scheme. A clock pulse is coupled to the n+m-bit counter and a control circuit for regulating duty cycle, amplitude, and frequency. It is also coupled to a step-ramp signal generating circuit for being integrated as a test signal source. Therefore the step-ramp signal can synchronize with the n+m-bit counter, and the output codes are applied to compare with output codes of the n-bit ADCs for completely digitally analyzing ADC's parameters. The step-ramp signal is divided into several segments, each is integrated by the regulated clock signal with different duty cycles, which increases integrating time to compensate leakage currents of the capacitor and improve linearity of the step-ramp signal.
Abstract: An optoelectronic package with a wire-protection lid is provided. An active surface of a silicon die includes a light working area. The silicon die is disposed on a substrate and electrically connected to the substrate through a plurality of bonding wires. A glass is disposed on the active surface of the silicon die. A silicon base lid with an opening is located above the substrate and connected to the glass by anodic bonding to mask the bonding wires. In addition, the opening of the silicon base lid is aligned with the light working area of the silicon die.
Abstract: A method for the manufacture of a ferroelectric memory. The ferroelectric memory includes a plurality of memory cells for storing binary data as polarization states of a ferroelectric. The method includes a data writing step of writing those binary data which will be read at a potential level lower than a reference potential level during data reading, to all of the memory cells prior to a heat treatment step.
Abstract: A heat dissipation device is described. The heat dissipation device is suitable for electrical equipment, and particularly for a notebook computer. The heat dissipation device has a cooling fan and a plurality of heat dissipation fins. The heat dissipation fins are disposed at an outlet of the cooling fan to exhaust heat on the heat dissipation fins with airflow generated by the cooling fan. Each of spaces between the adjacent heat dissipation fins is determined so as to make the airflow velocity uniform. A preferred predetermined space is about C1×1/(V2?1), where V is an original airflow velocity at the adjacent heat dissipation fins and C1 is a coefficient.
Abstract: A multi-battery automatic charging circuit with individual regulator is further provided with one secondary or more than one output interface to convert an AC source via a rectifier into a DC charging source, thus to supply power to an external rechargeable device or a DC load of different voltage through a tap of the circuit specific voltage; or alternatively, a primary battery, or a rechargeable battery provided with storage capacity, or any other rechargeable device generally available in the market is placed in the battery holder provided otherwise for the placement of rechargeable batteries to charge the external rechargeable device or to supply power to a DC load.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new type aircraft. The aircraft includes the airframe and wing, characterized in that the transverse section of airframe has an oblate (oval) profile with corrugated area on the ventral of airframe; the aircraft has uneven friction areas on the underside surface of wing; there are fireproof & anti-wear layers on the envelopes of airframe ventral and friction areas; the said fireproof & anti-wear layers have tire rubber material. When the aircraft is in motion with high velocity, the friction with air is increased, which produces bigger lift with more aircraft load and shortened takeoff & landing distance of aircraft, meanwhile the safe peril to aircraft caused by the shear transformation of wind in flight is prevented effectively; the fireproof & anti-wear layers on the envelopes of airframe ventral and friction areas have an effect on higher anti-wear proof and longer aircraft life.
Abstract: A method for compressing and decompression digital image data. When compressing, the method begins by choosing a reference row. The relative data between the reference row and the current row is compared to search for the differential data set. The largest matching data set of the differential data set is searched starting from the starting position of the last differential data set. According to the matching conditions, the data type of the to-be-compressed data is first verified, then the to-be-compressed data set type and its relative referencing value are verified. Finally, the relative coding process is started. This process has a higher compression ratio and decompression speed, and increases the compression speed dramatically.
Abstract: A servo motor control apparatus comprises a motion control unit for generating a position command; a first drive amplifier connecting with the motion control unit, for receiving the command to drive a first servo motor, and forming a first position control loop together with the motion control unit and the first servo motor; and at least one second drive amplifier connecting with the motion control unit, for receiving the command to drive at least one second servo motor, and forming a second position control loop together with the motion control unit and the second servo motor. The motion control unit comprises at least one synchronous controller, which receives and performs calculations to a difference value between position errors of the first and second position control loops for serving as speed and torque feed forward compensations to keep said second servo motor synchronous with the first servo motor.

Abstract: A plurality of trenches, about 1 ?m long in the Z-direction that crosses the X-direction (source-drain direction), are formed in a semiconductor substrate, arranged in the Z-direction. Ion implantation is performed obliquely with respect to side faces of each trench that cross the X-direction. Then, ion implantation is performed perpendicularly to the bottom face of each trench. Then, oxidation and drive-in are performed, whereby semiconductor portions between adjacent trenches are oxidized and each trench is thereby filled with an oxide to establish a wide trench region as would be obtained by connecting the trenches. At the same time, the impurity ions implanted around the trenches are diffused also in the Z-direction, whereby a uniform offset drain region is formed around the trench so that an optimum concentration and diffusion of the impurity ions is obtained, and an oxide or the like is buried in a wide trench region.

Abstract: This specification discloses a method of using locality statistics characteristic to enhance gamma corrections. Using the property that the color values of nearby digital image pixels are close to one another, the cache queue operation model is employed to partly replace the time-consuming table mechanism in the gamma correction procedure. The disclosed method first establishes a cache queue and then captures digital image pixels. According to the extracted digital image pixels, gamma correction values are searched to satisfy the cache queue. Finally, the gamma correction values corresponding to the digital image pixels are stored.
Abstract: A driving apparatus for driving a plasma display panel and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The plasma display panel includes multiple display cells, with each of the display cells comprising a sustain electrode, a scan electrode, and a data electrode. Every set of the electrodes has a corresponding driving circuit to provide a required driving waveform for driving the display cell to luminesce. The driving method includes the following steps: first, a first erase pulse, a priming pulse, and a second erase pulse are applied in sequence during a reset period. Then, data pulses corresponding to the display cells are applied during an address period. Lastly, multiple sustain pulses and multiple high frequency driving pulses are applied simultaneously during a sustain period.
