A torque regulating circuit regulates the motor torque based on the calculated deviation quantity. The driving apparatus for driving multiple induction motors according to the invention facilitates quickly detecting the widening caused in the rotating speed differences and preventing the rotating speed differences from widening.
Abstract: The present invention provides a semiconductor device having an active region bent at right angles, wherein an interval between patterns for the active region and a gate is set larger than an arc radius of a curved portion (portion where a line is brought to arcuate form) formed inside the pattern for the bent active region. By defining and designing the pattern interval, the curved portion of the active region do not overlap the gate pattern, and the difference between a device characteristic and a designed value can be prevented from increasing.

The digital high-pass filter in this invention can filter out a direct-current component of digital audio data such that the production of noise is avoided when the volume is adjusted by users.

Abstract: An electronic device installation dock for installing an electronic device includes a frame which has a housing space for holding the electronic device and a left side wall and a right side wall that have at least one fastener hole, and an elastic housing that is flexible to couple the electronic device and has two lateral sides corresponding to the two side walls. The lateral sides have a fastener corresponding to the fastener hole and are extended to form a carrying part. The electronic device and the elastic housing are coupled and may be jointly slid in the housing space of the frame. The fastener is engaged with the fastener hole at a fastened position in normal, and may be disengaged at a released position by lifting the carrying part.

Abstract: A foldable bicycle includes a frame. A first foldable device is connected to a top tube of the frame so as to fold a front wheel together with a head tube and a handlebar backward at the first foldable device such that the front and rear wheels are located parallel with each other. At least one assistant wheel is connected to a lower end of a down tube so that the at least one assistant wheel cooperates with the front and rear wheels to form a stable triangle support arrangement and the foldable bicycle can be easily moved by the at least one assistant wheel cooperating with the front and rear wheels. A carry rack is located above the rear wheel, which can be positioned by engaging pivot rods of the carry rack with engaging members on two support rods connected to a hub of the front wheel.
Abstract: There is provided a driving circuit of a liquid crystal display device capable of solving a problem of power consumption while solving a problem of time required for charge/discharge of source lines by virtue of shorting by use of precharge. The driving circuit of the liquid crystal display device comprises first shorting means, second shorting means, third shorting means, and fourth shorting means. With the use of the fourth shorting means, in particular, the source lines can be driven starting from a predetermined potential generated by a gradation voltage generation circuit, and a drive start potential is changed from a conventional common electrode potential to potentials generated by the gradation voltage generation circuit, so that power consumption can be effectively reduced (by about 8% on average as compared with the conventional case).
Abstract: An antenna system designed to enhance power efficiency of a patch antenna for wireless transmission is provided. The system includes a patch antenna, a reflective plate, a transmission line, and a printed circuit board assembly. The reflective plate is arranged at the position of ¼? away from the patch antenna, to reflect the electro-magnetic waves, radiated behind the patch antenna. Because the antenna and the reflective plate are away from ¼?, the reflective signals returned to the patch antenna constructively interfere with the signal radiated from the antenna. Therefore, the provided system may strengthen the gain of the antenna. Further, the electromagnetic interference is decreased at the position close to the printed circuit board assembly behind the reflective plate.
Abstract: A peripheral for notifying a USB-connected upper apparatus of a device descriptor and allowing the upper apparatus to specify a communication partner destination by the function information shown in the device descriptor has: a peripheral function information holding unit which holds function information showing functions of the peripheral; a dependent peripheral function information holding unit which holds function information showing functions of a USB-connected dependent peripheral; and a USB control unit which reads out one of the function information held in those holding units by a selecting instruction and notifies the upper apparatus of the device descriptor in which the read-out function information is shown. A peripheral which can realize a multi-function without developing a dedicated driver and installing it into a PC is provided.

Abstract: A charge section, for example a terminal metal fitting, pushing screw, metal retainer and terminal plate, is covered by an upper insulation case and a lower insulation case. An opening of the upper insulation case and openings of a lower insulation case in which a connection electric wire that is inserted are sealed, in a condition where an electric wire is not wired, by the superposition of insulation cases or a cover body. As a result, the charge section is prevented from being excessively exposed to protect the charge section from being contacted, regardless of whether the wiring is not yet performed or being performed.

Abstract: Synchronization errors in a received pulse train are detected by detecting rising or falling transitions in the pulse train, generating numbers in a repeating cycle having a length corresponding to the pulse rate, selecting the number generated when each transition is detected, and performing a predetermined operation on the selected numbers. The predetermined operation may include, for example, comparing the average values of the selected numbers in successive groups of transitions. Alternatively, the predetermined operation may include taking a difference between consecutively selected numbers to measure pulse widths in the pulse train. Synchronization error detection can be used to supplement data error detection and correction methods such as forward error correction and cyclic redundancy checks.

When translation is instructed by the user, the Web browser transmits a translation request message together with a URL of the document to the translating unit. A document whose translation is not permitted is prevented from being translated.
Abstract: A display device driver circuit includes a timer circuit 20 that outputs to output stage circuits 10 a control signal for turning off IGBTs 11 and 12 when a next clock signal is not inputted to the timer circuit 20 for a predetermined period of time, and the output stage circuits 10 turn off the IGBTs 11 and 12 to put the output terminals DO thereof into a high impedance state so that an overcurrent may be prevented from flowing through the IGBTs 11 and 12.
