  • Patent number: 7165183
Abstract: An interrupt signal EMG is put out to a microprocessor 10 when a thermal monitor 40 detects that a package temperature exceeds a reference. The microprocessor then increases a frequency division value N stored in a frequency division value register 31 of a clock mechanism 30. An inputted clock signal MCK is divided by N to generate a system clock signal SCK. Therefore, the frequency of system clock signal SCK decreases when N increases. Consequently, electricity consumption of each function module 20i decreases and the package temperature is reduced.

  • Patent number: 7162557
Abstract: A competition arbitration system in which chances for using a resource of a computer such as a bus or the like among devices are fair is provided. Pulses are sequentially generated periodically from a pulse generating circuit. It is assumed that first device outputted first bus request signal and second device continuously outputted second bus request signal before rising timing of the first pulse. When a bus arbiter outputs a bus grant signal to the first device at the rising timing of the first pulse, the bus master of the first device outputs a bus use acknowledgment signal. Then a use grant inhibiting circuit receives the acknowledgment signal and outputs an inhibition signal for inhibiting use of other devices. Thus, the first device holds the use right of a bus and bus use requests of other devices are reserved.

  • Patent number: 7158047
Abstract: The present invention provides a remote control system capable of controlling a number of devices on a network by one remote controller. A remote controller (10) requires a controlled device (20) defined as an object to be controlled to send display information. Thus, the display information stored in a ROM (21) of the controlled device (20) in advance is read and transmitted to the remote controller (10). The display information is described in a language such as HTLM, JAVA or the like. A browser on the remote controller (10) side displays a screen indicative of functions corresponding to a plurality of function keys (11) on a liquid crystal display (12). Thus, the function is selected based on the screen displayed on the liquid crystal display (12), and the function key (11) corresponding to the function is depressed, thereby making it possible to control the controlled device (20).

  • Patent number: 7157997
Abstract: An electromagnetic contactor in which neighboring main contact points have an interphase barrier between them. A concave section is provided at the inner wall face of the interphase barrier at the middle of the emission path of the arc gas that is generated from the opening and closing of a main contact point. The concave section allows the arc gas passing from an arc generation point to an emission window to be accumulated in the concave section, which acts as a container, thus reducing the rate at which the arc gas is emitted. As a result, the amount of heat dispersed from the arc gas to the interphase barrier due to heat transfer is increased, thus reducing the temperature of the arc gas flowing from the emission window, which suppresses damage to the wiring cable that would otherwise occur due to excessive heating of the main terminal onto which the arc gas flows, and fusion of the interphase barrier.

  • Patent number: 7155978
Abstract: A micro angular rate-sensing device is provided. A vibrator, having a plurality of proof masses connected to a ring, is arranged in a first base. Flexible supporting members connect to the vibrator to suspend the vibrator in the first base. Electrodes drive the vibrator to oscillate and control the oscillation mode of the vibrator in driving mode. Planar electrodes are arranged relative to the proof masses on a second base. The motion of the proof masses relative to the planar electrodes is sensed through the capacitance between the proof masses and the planar electrodes. The resonant structure with greater mass of the device generates greater Coriolis force and increases the sensing area. Thus, the intensity of sensed signals and noise-signal ratio are greatly increased. Furthermore, the device does not rely much on high aspect ratio manufacturing technology. Thus the manufacturing cost is reduced and the yield rate is increased.
