Abstract: The disclosure is related to a touch panel with discontinuous chain of resistances. It is formed by an internal series of electrodes of the conducting layer formed by a chain of discontinuous resistances. The design of the chain of discontinuous resistances can compensate for the voltage compensation by the voltage drop generated by the distance of chain of electrodes wherein the chain of discontinuous resistances is located at the interface of the series electrodes, and the length chain of discontinuous resistances is calculated by the specific equation.

Abstract: A method for moving object detection includes the steps: obtaining successive images of the moving object and dividing the successive images into blocks; selecting one block, calculating color feature values of the block at a current time point and a following time point; according to the color feature values, obtaining an active part of the selected block; comparing the color feature value of the selected block at the current time point with that of the other blocks at the following time point to obtain a similarity relating to each of the other blocks, and defining a maximum similarity as a local correlation part; obtaining a motion-energy patch of the block according to the active part and the local correlation part; repeating the steps to obtain all motion-energy patches to form a motion-energy map; and acquiring the moving object at the current time point in the motion-energy map.
Abstract: A thin film type varistor and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The method includes: a depositing a first zinc oxide thin film at a low temperature through a sputtering method; and a forming a zinc oxide thin film for a varistor by treating the first zinc oxide thin film with heat at a low temperature in an environment in which an inert gas and oxygen are injected. Accordingly, it is possible to lower a processing temperature and simplify a manufacturing process while maintaining a varistor characteristic so as to be applied to a highly integrated circuit.

Abstract: A sound device includes a full-gamut single-body sound membrane, a voice coil, a dust cover, and an assembly structure. Materials of different kinds of beating degrees are applied at different positions of the sound membrane. A structural intensity of materials is changed radiantly, radially and gradually, from an innermost rim of the sound membrane toward an outermost rim of the sound membrane, such that the structural intensity gradually decreases from the innermost rim toward the outermost rim, to satisfy requirements of sounding for the full-gamut of audible frequency.
Abstract: Provided is a contactless fingerprint image obtaining apparatus using a mirror. The contactless fingerprint image obtaining apparatus obtains the entire region of a fingerprint using the mirror in a contactless manner. The entire region of the fingerprint includes a fingerprint region of the front direction coinciding with the optical axis of a single shooting unit, and fingerprint regions of left/right lateral sides that do not coincide with the optical axis. Accordingly, unwillingness of a user, distortion caused by contact of the user, quality reduction, which are the limitations of a related art contact type fingerprint image obtaining apparatus are solved. Simultaneously, a wide region of a fingerprint image including the lateral sides of a fingerprint that cannot be directly obtained by a related art contactless fingerprint image obtaining apparatus using only a single camera can be economically obtained.

Abstract: Excitation light is split into two components with mutually orthogonal polarization. One component is fed clockwise and the other component is fed counterclockwise into a polarization maintaining loop. An optical conversion generation unit including two second-order nonlinear optical media disposed on opposite sides of a half-wave plate in the loop generates up-converted light from each excitation component by second harmonic generation, and generates down-converted light from the up-converted light by spontaneous parametric down conversion. A polarization manipulation unit manipulates the polarization direction of at least one of the excitation or down-converted components. The clockwise and counterclockwise components of the down-converted light are recombined and output as quantum entangled photon pairs having substantially the same wavelength as the excitation light.
Abstract: The present invention is related to a gray-scale data bit processing method applied in a driving integrated circuit device of light-emitting diode (LED), and more particularly to a separating and recombining method applied to reduce the bit numbers of data to be processed to indicate the brightness of light-emitting diode, and thus a set of weight values and more updating rates are generated to obtain an identical sum of gray-scale weight values compared to the original one processed at a higher bit numbers of data operation.

Abstract: A method and system for forming a surrounding seamless bird-view image by processing a plurality of surrounding images associated with a carrier captured by different imaging devices is provided in the present invention. During the process, the surrounding images are converted into corresponding bird-images respectively and then an overlapping area corresponding to each two adjacent bird-view images is determined. After that, distances between the pixel in the overlapping area and the boundary of the overlapping area in each adjacent bird-view image is calculated so as to determine a weighting value for each corresponding pixel in each adjacent bird-view image thereby forming an overlapping image, wherein each pixel in the overlapping image is determined according to the weighting value and information of the corresponding pixel in each adjacent image. After determining the overlapping image for each two adjacent bird-view image, it is capable of forming the surrounding seamless bird-view image.

Abstract: An ink cartridge apparatus for continuously supplying ink is provided, including a connection device, an exposed chip socket and a filtering device on an ink cartridge main body. The connection device is for connecting to an ink bottle and the filtering device is for filtering the impurity from the ink flowing from the ink bottle into ink cartridge main body. The exposed chip socket is for the user to replace the chip more conveniently. With the ink supply mechanism of ink bottle into ink cartridge main body, the ink cartridge main body can maintain good ink quality and when the threshold set by the chip is exceeded, the replacement of the chip can be done without removing the entire ink cartridge from the printer so as to achieve the object of continuously supplying ink.
Abstract: This invention provides a low-current consumption type signal amplification circuit, which limits the output voltage to fix a lower-limit (upper-limit) saturation voltage of the amplification circuit at a predetermined lower-limit (upper-limit) limiting voltage. The signal amplification circuit comprises a negative feedback amplification circuit, a lower-limit voltage limiting circuit and an upper-limit voltage limiting circuit. The lower-limit voltage limiting circuit increases a resistance between an output terminal of the negative feedback amplification circuit and a ground terminal when the output voltage of the negative feedback amplification circuit falls below the lower-limit limiting voltage. The upper-limit voltage limiting circuit increases a resistance between the output terminal of the negative feedback amplification circuit and a high-potential side of a power supply when the output voltage of the negative feedback amplification circuit rises above the upper-limit limiting voltage.

Abstract: A method for forming a precursor solution for metal organic deposition includes dissolving an additive-free first precursor composed of a rare earth element, a second precursor comprising barium, and a third precursor composed of copper into an acid to form a compound solution; dissolving the compound solution into a solvent to form a pre-precursor solution; and evaporating the solvent from the pre-precursor solution to form a precursor solution having an increased viscosity; wherein at least one of the first precursor, the second precursor, and the third precursor is dissolved into a fluorine-free acid. A method for forming a superconducting thick film from the above precursor solution includes forming a thick film by a one-time coating of the precursor solution having an increased viscosity onto a biaxially-textured base followed by heat treating to form the superconducting thick film having a thickness of about 0.2 ?m or more and having no cracking.

Abstract: A motorcycle is provided with a head light and an auxiliary light that are arranged along an up and down direction of a vehicle, and is provided with a front cover that can cover at least a portion of the legs of a rider. The respective lenses of the head light and the auxiliary light are arranged to be exposed in a forward portion of the vehicle.
