Abstract: The present invention discloses a light emitting diode (LED) by using a P-type ZnTe layer or a ZnSe layer as a substrate. To match the lattice between the substrate and blue light LED of cubic crystal, a BP(boron phosphide) buffer layer of single crystal is formed on the substrate. When the blue light LED emits blue light of wavelength from 450 nm to 470 nm, the ZnTe or ZnSe substrate absorbs the blue light and emits yellow-green light of wavelength 550 nm. Thus, white light is produced by mixing the blue light and the yellow-green light.

Then, the number of the buffering devices for the N+1th layer is judged whether or not to be 1.
Abstract: An interrupt signal processing apparatus, when receiving an interrupt requesting signal from one device, writes a pulse signal generated by an interrupt setting pulse generating section to a register. The interrupt signal processing apparatus, when receiving an interrupt clearing request signal from the other device, clears the register by using a pulse signal fed from the interrupt clearing pulse generating section and outputs the interrupt permission signal to the one device. When a clock speed of the other device is lower than that of the one device and when pulse generation is controlled by a control signal fed from the clearing pulse generating section of the other device, while the pulse signal fed from the other device is input to the delay circuit, a time delay is provided to operations of the second synchronization section. Thus, smooth interruption can be implemented regardless of the clock speed.
Abstract: A method for breaking down used materials or items, particularly wooden or motor-vehicle items, into reusable components with the use of fractionating tools, with which the accelerated parts of used material interact. The breakdown is effected selectively through impacts, deformation tension, bending stress, friction and/or shearing, with the shape and arrangement of the fractionating tools being set and/or matched to the structure and size of the used feed materials and/or the obtained recycled material.
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device, a semiconductor substrate having device regions and an isolation region for separating the device region is provided. Then, a trench is formed in the isolation region of the semiconductor substrate. A nitride film is formed on the device regions of the semiconductor substrate. Next, an oxide film is formed within the trench and on the nitride film so that an upper surface of the oxide film within the trench is located more than about 500 Å below an upper surface of the nitride film. Finally, the oxide film is polished by CMP method so that a height of the upper surface of the oxide film within the trench portion is maintained at less than a height of the upper surface of the nitride film adjacent thereto.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a semiconductor device which enables favorable back-surface grinding of a semiconductor substrate with preventing a warp in the substrate, thereby manufacturing a thickness-reduced semiconductor device. A projection electrode is formed on a surface of a wafer. A resin layer is formed on the wafer surface to a thickness to bury a top of the projection electrode. A cut groove is formed in the resin layer along a scribe line formed on the wafer. Thereafter, grinding is made on a back surface of the wafer by the use of a grinder or the like. A surface portion of the resin layer is removed by etching or the like, to expose the top of the projection electrode. The wafer is cut along the cut groove to obtain individual semiconductor chip pieces.
Abstract: Method and apparatus for automatically dynamically adjusting prestressed bearings of shaft are provided. The apparatus comprises a sleeve assembly having outer and inner sleeves sandwiched between the bearings. An inner diameter of outer sleeve is smaller than an outer diameter of inner sleeve. Hence, outer and inner sleeves are fitted together after cooling. Further, inner sleeve is compressed by the outer sleeve to extend axially. During rotation of shaft, the axial extension of inner sleeve is reduced because the radial expansion of outer sleeve is larger than that of inner sleeve due to an thermal expansion coefficient of outer sleeve larger than that of inner sleeve. This can reduce prestress of bearings without degrading a rigidity thereof.

Abstract: A multi-resolution charge-coupled device (CCD) sensing device is provided. The multi-resolution CCD sensing device achieves the object of the invention by using more than two CCD shift registers. The purpose of the invention is to combine and store the charge signals from a longer CCD shift register to a shorter CCD shift register, and then to shift out the charge signals, so as to attain transmission functions with different resolutions. It can achieve the economy of smaller size and lower cost by using the multi-resolution CCD sensing device according to the invention, thereby increasing scanning speeds at lower resolutions.
Abstract: An improved structure golf club bag support comprised of two clevis sections disposed at intervals apart, furthermore, at an outwardly oriented included angle on the appropriate positions of the upper lateral edges and bottom mount sides; support members, each top and bottom ends support members connected to the clevis sections, each support member consisting of a primary and secondary sub-member; a coupling fixture at the center portion having hinge tabs connected to a linkage hole in each secondary sub-member; a positioning torque spring, having a linearly projecting upper and lower tip that are situated against each primary and secondary sub-member. When the golf club bag is inclined at the two clevis sections, pressure exerted onto the secondary sub-members and directed outward against the primary sub-members, at which time, the primary and the secondary sub-members are articulated into a rigid pyramidical state that provides for stable support.
Abstract: A driving method of a plasma display panel and a driving circuit thereof are disclosed. In the method, image data is inputted by applying a scanning pulse to the scanning electrode and selectively applying a data pulse to the data electrode during an address period. Then, a first pulse and a second pulse of different phase are respectively applied to the first sustaining electrode and the second sustaining electrode during a sustain period. A third pulse is applied to the scanning electrode to sustain the image data. A first discharge current and a second discharge current are occurred, an time interval is formed between the discharge currents to reduce an instant power consumption of the PDP. The driving method is also used to reduce the electromagnetic interference and increases the operation margin.

Abstract: A microcontroller has a nonvolatile memory that originally stores program code and has free space. When part of the program code needs to be modified, that part is disabled, and modified program code is stored in the free space. The modified program code is executed in place of the disabled program code. Program code can be disabled by changing instructions to a designated instruction, by storing the address of the disabled program code in the nonvolatile memory and loading this address into a disabled code detector, or by deleting the address of the disabled program code from an address list in the nonvolatile memory and adding the address of the modified program code to the list. In this way, the program stored in even a one-time-programmable microcontroller can be changed to meet altered specifications or correct program bugs.
