  • Patent number: 5237325
Abstract: A process and a system for multi-channel gathering and evaluation of measured data in which measured data channels are distinguished into analog data channels and into digital or event channels. By means of a signal derived from the events, or rather from event signals, and processed in the event channels the analog measured data are synchronously sampled, (i.e. picked up, converted into a digital value and stored). Each time an identification number is stored for the event signal triggering the sampling operation, or rather of the corresponding event channel, the phase time between this sampling signal and the preceding sampling signal, the associated sampled measured data and the time sequence of the sampling operations. The signal triggering the synchronous sampling operation is preferably formed by OR-linking of all event signals which are scaled down, if applicable.

  • Patent number: 5232272
Abstract: A dual-circuit brake system including a diagonal division is provided by the invention. The brakes of the driven wheels, on the one hand, through inlet valves are in communication with the brake pressure generator and, on the other hand, through intake valves, are in direct communication with a pressure source. Moreover, communication is established with a reservoir through the outlet valves. For brake slip control purposes, pairs of inlet and outlet valves are actuated, while for traction slip control purposes, pairs of intake and outlet valves are actuated; during a traction slip control, the inlet valves and separator valves in bypass conduits leading to the inlet valves are closed. This circuit configuration involves the advantage that the intake and inlet valves may be provided with different diaphragms that are adjusted to the respective control mode.

  • Patent number: 5231730
Abstract: A wiper blade for a windshield wiper system of motor vehicles is described, in which wiper blade a reinforcing rail is secured against longitudinal movement in its central area on the wiper lip. The securement is performed by a cam pressed from the blade and received in a recess of the reinforcing rail. The relative movement between the reinforcing rail and the rubber wiper strip, which cannot be prevented when bent windshields are being wiped, is thereby evenly distributed over the two ends of the wiper strip. This improves the wiping effect of the wiper blade in comparison to known models, where the reinforcing rail is coupled to one end of the wiper strip.

  • Patent number: 5224410
Abstract: A vacuum brake power booster with a connecting member (23) for the connecting nozzle (2) of the vacuum line and for the vacuum non-return valve (3). The connecting member is configured in the shape of a housing for a sensing device which detects the position of the diaphragm retainer (16) within the servo-cylinder (15). The sensing device consists of a scanning pin (22) which allows rotation of a gear (9) by means of a flexible toothed rack (6). The gear allows rotation of a tap (12) on an ohmic resistance. The different voltage values generated in this manner indicated the position of the diaphragm retainer within the servo-cylinder. By an appropriate selection of components, by their configuration, by their mutual adaptation, and by the appropriate assembly of these components into a compact overall assembly unit, the contour of a conventional vacuum brake power booster is not exceeded. The mounting space requirements of the booster are thus reduced. The booster is universally applicable.
