  • Patent number: 8100111
Abstract: A fuel injection system of the common rail type for an internal combustion engine with two rows of cylinders is to be designed such that the deviations in the injection quantities of their injectors from one another are as slight as possible. The fuel injection system has a high-pressure pump, from which fuel flows to a first rail and a second rail which each have respective associated injectors for the two rows of cylinders. The first rail, in a structural unit with a throttle as a hydraulic connection, is preceded by a distributor block. From the distributor block, a connecting line leads to the second rail. The fuel injection system is preferably used in the automobile industry.

  • Patent number: 8079133
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing the rotor winding of an electric machine comprising at least four exciter poles in the stator and a commutator rotor with a number of pole teeth which deviates from the number of exciter poles as well as a number of individual tooth coils and commutator segments that is at least twice as large as the number of pole teeth. In order to obtain low torque ripple and a long service life by optimally commutating the coils, a first coil is wound from an initial segment at a selectable offset angle to the initial segment on a first pole tooth, the winding wire is then fixed to another commutator segment at a predefined segment interstice length, whereupon a coil is successively wound from each segment onto the pole tooth having the lowest angular error relative the offset angle in relation to the pole separation of the stator, and the winding wire is then contacted on another segment at the same segment interstice length.

  • Patent number: 8070237
Abstract: To predictively determine the occurrence of rear wheel lifting before actual lifting of a rear wheel occurs and enable control of brake force. Vehicle body deceleration is computed on the basis of wheel velocities obtained by wheel velocity sensors 45 and 46 (S102), and when it is determined that that computed value exceeds a predetermined value K1 (S104), then the pressure of a front wheel cylinder 3 is reduced by a predetermined pressure and held at that reduced pressure (S106), and when it is determined that vehicle body deceleration has fallen below a value that is, for example, lower by a predetermined value ? than the predetermined value K1 (S108), then the state of holding of the pressure of the front wheel cylinder 3 is released (S110) and brake control returns to normal brake control.

  • Patent number: 8061491
Abstract: The invention is a electromechanical locking device for a brake piston of a hydraulically actuated wheel brake. The locking device is disposed at least in some portions in the interior of a hollow-cylindrical brake piston. This interior of the brake piston is filled with hydraulic pressure fluid and in the event of brake actuation is subjected to pressure. The invention includes a filler piece and a coupling element, which reduce the pressure-fluid-filled volume of the brake piston, prevent blocking of the locking device in its terminal positions, and make it possible for the two terminal positions of the locking device to be detected and evaluated by an electronic control unit.
