Abstract: Using radio frequency sensing to detecting that a cellular base station has been moved to a new geographic location is disclosed. A determination is made that a sensed radio frequency environment does not match a stored baseline. It is concluded, based at least in part on the determination that a sensed radio frequency environment does not match a stored baseline, that the cellular base station has been moved.

Abstract: Methods and systems for vector combining power amplification are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a plurality of signals are individually amplified, then summed to form a desired time-varying complex envelope signal. Phase and/or frequency characteristics of one or more of the signals are controlled to provide the desired phase, frequency, and/or amplitude characteristics of the desired time-varying complex envelope signal. In another embodiment, a time-varying complex envelope signal is decomposed into a plurality of constant envelope constituent signals. The constituent signals are amplified equally or substantially equally, and then summed to construct an amplified version of the original time-varying envelope signal. Embodiments also perform frequency up-conversion.

Abstract: Methods and systems for obtaining a scalable variable-length nonce are provided. An exemplary method for obtaining a scalable variable-length nonce includes obtaining an initial nonce candidate. The exemplary method also includes transmitting a query to determine whether the initial nonce candidate has already been assigned. When the initial nonce candidate has already been assigned, a combined nonce candidate is obtained. The combined nonce candidate includes characters appended to the initial nonce candidate. An exemplary system for obtaining a scalable variable-length nonce includes a transmitting engine that transmits a request associated with a current token. The exemplary system also includes a receiving engine that receives a message associated with the current token. The exemplary system further includes a token acquiring engine that obtains a new token, and an appending engine that appends the new token to the current token.
Abstract: Aspects of a method and system for closed loop power control in wireless systems are provided. In this regard, an output power of an amplifier may be measured and an indication of the measured power may be compared to a reference signal. The results of the comparison are utilized to generate an error correction factor. The gain of a preamplifier may be adjusted utilizing the error correction factor, where the output of the preamplifier may be input to the amplifier. The error correction factor may be generated via a proportional integral derivative controller. The gain of the preamplifier may be adjusted via at least one control signal, where the at least one control signal may be generated based on a reference control word and the error correction factor. The indication of the measured power and the reference signal may be time aligned.

Abstract: A high speed isolation interface which can be used to enable high speed communications between the isolated side and the wire side in a PoE system is provided. The high speed isolation interface may implement an Ethernet or non-Ethernet based signaling scheme. The high speed isolation interface can be used within both PSE (endspan or midspan) and PD systems, including single port and multi-port PSE and PD systems. Further, the high speed isolation interface is usable within pre-standard PoE, 802.3af PoE, and 802.3at PoE systems. The high speed isolation interface may also be used within 2-pair PoE (Alternative A) and 4-pair PoE (Alternative B) systems.
Abstract: Embodiments for methods and apparatuses for processing a multi-carrier signal are disclosed. One method includes shaping a frequency spectrum of a multi-carrier transmit signal wherein an amplitude of a plurality of subcarriers of the multi-carrier transmit signal is increased relative to at least one other subcarrier of the multi-carrier transmit signal. The shaped frequency spectrum multi-carrier transmit signal is amplified with a power amplifier, wherein a power level of an output of the power amplifier is greater than a rated power level of the power amplifier.

Abstract: The present invention relates to antigen binding molecules (ABMs). In particular embodiments, the present invention relates to recombinant monoclonal antibodies, including chimeric, primatized or humanized antibodies specific for human EGFR. In addition, the present invention relates to nucleic acid molecules encoding such ABMs, and vectors and host cells comprising such nucleic acid molecules. The invention further relates to methods for producing the ABMs of the invention, and to methods of using these ABMs in treatment of disease. In addition, the present invention relates to ABMs with modified glycosylation having improved therapeutic properties, including antibodies with increased Fc receptor binding and increased effector function.
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed to map a sequence of data to Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) constellation symbols. The method and apparatus encodes only a portion of the sequence of data and leaves a remaining portion of the sequence of data unencoded. The encoded portion of the sequence of data and the remaining unencoded portion of the sequence of data are then mapped into modulation symbols of the QAM constellation. The encoded portion of the sequence of data selects subsets of the QAM constellation, and the remaining unencoded portion of the sequence of data determines a specific modulation symbol within each subset of the QAM constellation.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed to increase a breakdown voltage of a semiconductor device. The semiconductor device includes a modified breakdown shallow trench isolation (STI) region to effectively reduce a drain to source resistance when compared to a conventional semiconductor device, thereby increasing the breakdown voltage of the semiconductor device when compared to the conventional semiconductor device. The modified breakdown STI region allows more current to pass from a source region to a drain region of the semiconductor device, thereby further increasing the break down voltage of the semiconductor device from that of the conventional semiconductor device. The semiconductor device may include a modified well region to further reduce the drain to source resistance of the semiconductor device.

Also disclosed is a lacrosse stick comprising: an elongated shaft having a butt end and a head end, and a port formed through the head end; and a head attachable to the shaft.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for automatically sharing media between users is provided. Collections of images are received from different users, where each collection is associated with a particular user and the users may be associated with each other. The collections are grouped into one or more albums based on the content of the images in the collection, where each album is associated with a particular user. The albums from the different users are grouped into one or more event groups based on the content of the albums. The event groups are then shared automatically, without user intervention, between the different users based on their associations with each other and their individual sharing preferences.
