  • Patent number: 7171354
Abstract: When an error is detected in coded data in the current frame, data separation section 201 separates the data into coding parameters first. Then, mode information decoding section 202 outputs decoding mode information in the previous frame and uses this as the mode information of the current frame. Furthermore, using the lag parameter code and gain parameter code of the current frame obtained at data separation section 201 and the mode information, lag parameter decoding section 204 and gain parameter decoding section 205 adaptively calculate a lag parameter and gain parameter to be used in the current frame according to the mode information.

  • Patent number: 7171185
Abstract: A determining section (18) and gain variation amount detecting section (9) detect a period having a possibility of a DC-component offset in an internal circuit of a direct conversion receiver increasing beyond an allowable value due to AGC operation, and during the period, a cut-off frequency of each of high-pass filters (12a to 12d) is set at a frequency higher than that in general operation, thereby rapidly converging transient responses of signals passed through the high-pass filters, while controlling precisely operation timings of reception power measuring section (16), gain calculating section (22), gain control section (23) and circuit power supply control section (24) composing an AGC loop, whereby the DC offset is prevented from increasing and stable circuit operation is assured. It is thereby possible to achieve further reductions in size and power consumption of a CDMA receiver using the direct conversion receiver.

  • Patent number: 7167903
Abstract: A hosted system and method for user creation and update of a user Web, provides for customization of appearance and functionality of a user Web that is totally separate from the maintenance of the variable contents of a user Web. The hosted system and method of the present invention first generates a fixed default design for a user's Web site of at least one generic type of page and the linkages between this page and a Home Page. Thereafter, the hosted system provides capabilities for a user to perform multiple, generic types of customization of the appearance of a user Web from which both a ‘view’ and a companion ‘update’ Web page is generated for each user page. Any variable content of a ‘view’ page of a user Web is entered and updated by the user employing the ‘update’ Web page after the Web site has been generated and stored at a Host by the hosted system and method of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 7167505
Abstract: In maximum delay time setting section 106, a delay time width W? used for cancelling the interference is set using the delay profile. In the present embodiment, delay spread is calculated and a delay wave included in the delay spread is set as W?. First, the delay spread is calculated in delay spread calculating section 1061 of maximum delay time setting section 106. That is to say, the standard deviation of the delay profile is calculated. The calculated delay spread is outputted to maximum delay time determining section 1062. The maximum delay time (window width) W? is determined in maximum delay time determining section 1062 based on the delay spread. Therefore, the delay wave included in the maximum delay time which is determined by such a way is set to be an object of interference cancellation in joint detection. Thus, besides interference cancellation performance, optimization of calculation scale can be planned without losing performance of RAKE combining.
